I - Park Hotel Reichenberg Bed and Breakfast

This hotel is not in walking distance of much at all but it's a fantastic & quiet hotel. Check-in was easy! The friendly staff had our keys ready on arrival. Our room was large with a small fridge (that, unfortunately, would never get cold regardless of temperature setting) and ample counter space. The bed was super comfortable with power outlets & nightstands at each side of the bed--perfect for two people to charge devices at bedside. The bathroom had a tub and separate shower. The shower was large and the water pressure was good. The only thing missing was a shelf or somewhere to place soap & shampoo. The towels were a good thickness. The wall-mounted magnifying mirror was a great touch. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurants & bar were closed during our stay. The front desk staff kindly poured us drinks upon request, though. The WiFi was excellent. There is open-air parking in front of the hotel but it was full at night when we stayed. If I'm ever in the area again I would happily stay here--but I would bring some food.

Ein typisches Tagungshotel in einem Industriepark. Die Zimmer sind ok und modern ausgestattet, allerdings war zwar ein Klimaregulierungspanel im Zimmer, stand aber auf zentraler Regelung und war nicht separat regelbar. Dafür war das Zimmer sehr leise. Das Hotel hat eine Bar in der Lobby, die aber sehr ungemütlich ist, das Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr ungemütlich. Das Abendessen war primitiv und fast ungewürzt. Die Auswahl war sehr gering und die Qualität schlecht. Die Bar hat schon um 22 Uhr zur letzten Runde aufgerufen. In einem Tagungshotel sollte die Bar aber min. bis 24 Uhr geöffnet haben, ganz nach dem Motto „am meisten lernt man an der Theke..“ Das Frühstück war ok. Mittags wurde das Frühstücksrestaurant durch das öffnen einer Trennwand zum Büffetrestaurant erweitert. Sowohl die Optik als auch das Essen war hingegen richtig grausam. Sorry, aber da kocht jede Betriebskantine oder Mensa besser. Positiv hingegen war das sehr freundliche Personal, das konnte aber leider an der Hardware und dem Essen nichts ändern.
