Booo… this one is at the bottom of my list Well, if you have an opportunity to stay at a different hotel, closer in town little more expensive if you can afford it, try not to stay too long at this one it’s an old hotel. It’s a old stinky ****** needs to be leveled and rebuilt wrong part of town, a lot of transient people on the street. I did not like it but it was cheap. It was clean and old and stunk phone. Desk was friendly maintenance was nonexistent. I change the filter in my AC unit because it was nasty. I stayed there for two night. The only thing that was comfortable was leaving my truck outside because they had security in a fenced in area. Security walk to grounds all the time not nice not good I don’t like.

Perfect Stay and comfortable. Had problems with a charge to card but hopefully ill get it worked out!

I loved the modern decor throughout the room and I thought the space was used exceptionally well. The clubhouse with the free coffee and hot chocolate was great and I appreciated the information the hotel provided about the surrounding area. The communication with the hotel was good but it seemed mildly disorganized and I had to wait until 4:00 to check in when I was expecting to check in at 3:00. That said, overall, I would absolutely stay at Kramer's Midtown again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Reno!

The air conditioning was broken and while I understand this could not be helped the resolution was 2 drink vouchers. No information was provided when I walked past the front desk, I had to call down to the desk because the room was so warm and no update was shared with guests that it would not be fixed that day so guests could plan accordingly. I love Hiltons and will always stay at a Hilton when I can, but I will not stay at this location in the future. Communication was poor and after a long business trip and a VERY hot day I just needed to sleep which I could not do because it was so warm.

This is a ******, of course, and guests must wend their way through the games to find the elevators to the hotel towers. I wasn't the only guest who got lost, but it turns out there's a little map in the key card holder they give you when you check in. I didn't see it until I turned in my key card at checkout. It's an older building and has plenty of free parking. Cost seemed reasonable, no surprise fees. The room was clean and the mattress and pillows were excellent, just to my preference. There's a fridge and microwave and of course a TV. My room looked out on the indoor pool and the evening I went to bed early the sound of kids playing right outside my window woke me up. They weren't being obnoxiously loud, just kids having fun, and the parents took them in before it got very late, so it wasn't a problem but could be if pool guests are inconsiderate. The ice machine and vending is not near the elevators or any place else a guest would naturally think to look. I wandered a LONG way through the maze of corridors before I found them, and I never went back because it was ridiculously far from my room. The AC unit was very loud -- I just kept it on constant fan instead of auto so that it wouldn't jar me away each time it kicked on. There was a low, electronic thrumming sound that kept me awake, too. It wasn't the AC but seemed to come from the area of the microwave. I heard it all night the first night, but just occasionally on the second night.

I've had two one night stays here in the last six months and found this to be a well situated in modern property on the banks of the Truckee River. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, casinos are reasonable walk as well if that's your thing. Interior decor is very unique; not the typically sterile setting of many newer chain hotels. They have a patio outside the restaurant right along the bar, which makes for a nice setting, whether catching up on work or with friends after dinner. So large interior bocce ball and gaming area, though it was closed on both my visits. Nicely sized and functional rooms, with good water pressure even on the top floor. Far too many Marriott properties are yet to reopen their concierge lounges, but this was accessible 24 seven and had a great breakfast set up. Only negative notes were that trying to connect to Wi-Fi in some parts of the hotel just didn't seem to work. Well, I had no problem on my laptop, several of us had challenges connecting on our phones. And well plenty of water and soda is available for the taking in the lounge, I didn't find anywhen I walked inside my room. However, I definitely stay again if the tariff is reasonable.

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures of this property, it is a very dirty property. The common areas had food left on the floors for several days such as cereal, outdoor trash areas were overflowing and the floors in the main area and in the kitchen areas of the room were sticky. The free breakfast isn't meant to be a gourmet meal, but this was sad. There were a few pieces of bread, cold English muffins and a cereal bar. By far the worst part of the breakfast was the eggs. They were cold and apparently they take them out of the fridge and plop them into a warming pan and let them sit and basically they are cold and don't warm up. The rooms themselves are decent in that the space provided is generous. We had two bedrooms and a total of five hangers. The pillows are flat, like I've never seen before. The windows had stoppers in them and could only be opened slightly, and the window sills were full of dust and dirt. They were gross to touch. The bathtub felt like it was going to fall through the floor, it felt very unstable. This property used to be a Residence Inn and it's now part of Sonesta ES and their brand is very nice and I had high hopes for this property. Stay away from this property, do not stay here, it's a mess and feels like it's being neglected. .
