Meliton Hotel

Lovely little hotel in a quiet out of the way town not far from the airport. Staff really friendly and helpful at all times, room and whole hotel kept clean at all times Food was a bit repetitive but nice and what you expect for a 3 star all inclusive not a lot of entertainment but it’s what you make it. Helen and kika in the mornings at the pool bar were really friendly and always helpful. All in all it’s a lovely little gem we hope to return in the future

This wonderful hotel is situated in a less populated area, not famous for its tourism. As such you will have a relaxed environment to stay in. If you want a true "family holiday" with entertainment every night and staff to help entertain kids, then this is not the hotel for you. If however you want a place where as an older family, or as couples, or a girlie's relaxing break, then I'd highly recommend this hotel. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and are multilingual appearing fluent in English and French that I directly experienced. As others have mentioned, the entertainment is limited to two nights a week, but at the budget of this hotel, this is expected, and you make the night your own chilling at the bar or at your balcony. The food is about standard all inclusive at this price point... nothing really stands out one way or another. If you're used to UK milk however, be aware the UHT milk they have has a gone off taste to it. It is perfectly fine, but fussy eaters will complain. When the ice cream is served, I do recommend the vanilla ice cream, so creamy for an all inclusive offering. The hotel stray cats are friendly, not many are lap cat friendly, but they all know when it's meal time. There are two pools, one around the back next to the bar/restaurant which is your main fun pool, and one relax pool at the front of the hotel, where the noise from the bar and the guests having fun are non existent. The proximity to the airport means you will see and hear the aircraft taking off or landing (but not both), but the proximity means that a private transfer gets you to the hotel in 20 minutes. They advertise an excursion on Sundays to the Ostrich Farm... they massively undersell the main attraction of this place, you get to pet and hold Ring Tailed Lemurs... with a €12pp entry price, its totally worth it.

We came to the Meliton Hotel in June 2023 and loved every second of our stay. The staff are the most beautiful people you could ever wish to meet and the guests were a mix of people who had been coming back for years and years or people who just wanted a peaceful break. It was quiet and peaceful BUT in the evening you can expect some fun! Karaoke and Greek night were our favourites!! Guests were mainly brits, all so friendly with a mix of age groups. Food was lovely, the hotel is clean and the staff will do anything for you!! My only advice would be to bring an extension cable as there were 2 plug sockets in room for 4 people.

Me & my wife stayed here for 1 week & This hotel is out the way but not to far from what you need, the staff are exceptional in anything you require & are very helpful & polite, the food is great quality & our room was brilliant I’d certainly recommend to anyone

Booked this as a couple trip. We arrived at 10:30 when the all inclusive was stopping. As soon as we got to reception he very strongly advised us to grab a drink from bar before we would have to pay for drinks. We then got told all the informs and got took to our room however when we arrived at the room the electric wasn’t working so we got moved to another room for the first night. The next morning we got put in the now working room and stayed there for the rest of the time. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and all you can expect with the price. The breakfast was good with very similar foods each morning but nothing to fault. We never went hungry to say the least. Lunch was good again similar each day. Dinner was delicious again it was the same sort of food each day but a good variety for each breakfast lunch and dinner. The pool was lovely, however the massage Jets in the pool didn’t look like they would work as we didn’t see them at all. Other than that I feel there was plenty of sun beds throughout the day. Beach transport is first comes first serves as it’s a 8 seat van. But only a 20min walk away which we did on the way back. There is a small local shop to grab an ice cream or drink on the way back. Overall the hotel was lovely as well as staff were amazing and very accommodating. Evenings was a good time with the karaoke and Greek night seemed good but didn’t get the full potential to see it as we arrived as it was ending.

Not a bad hotel, not suitable for kids for sure, they don't have enough activities for them, both pools over 1 meter - not suitable for young kids and also they do not have a proper park for them, they only have swings and a few other thigs. The food option is very little, if you want diversity, do not take the all inclusive... Drinks were limited by certain hours, as I said at the beginning, not a bad hotel, but make sure you read a few times the description to make sure it will be suitable for you.

Third time we were here. The owners and the staff are so kind. Room is very comfortable and cleaned every day. The restaurant is very good, thank you chef ! The Greek evening and the karaoke evening were splendid. If I may say, I feel sad that people give a very bad review. This is not a luxury 5 stars hotel and for the price you pay here, you have a beaufitul holiday !

room small, garden view is: balcony looking out to a pylon tower and a factory. Balcony was also narrower than the wardrobe. We had to leave and find and alternative hotel after one evening as the dinner choice was battered fish, plain spaghetti, stew and pilau rice and that was it. Nothing went together. Lots of people eating elsewhere as food was inedible. ‘All inclusive’ - but can’t get a soft drink until after 10.30am. Drinks are watered down. Even the Pepsi. When mentioning to other guest we had booked elsewhere all said they wish they could do the same or ‘ we don’t blame you’. When asking for a wine glass a man at the bar told me to go to a 4 star hotel if I wanted a wine glass . So had to drink out of a beaker. Other staff were friendly and the room is clean. Would not call it all inclusive. So many restrictions. Now staying else were in lalysos and very happy.

We have stayed here many times, and made some lovely friends who do the same. The family owners are lovely. They place a lot of emphasis in making their clients holiday the best it can be. It is great value for your money. The staff are all friendly and will help you with anything. It's slightly off the beaten-track, but the hotel provides daily mini-bus services to the local beach. I would recommend getting a car: 10 minutes from airport, 30 minutes to Rhodes, 10 minutes to Kamieros.
