Allegory Boutique Hotel

Allegory Boutique Hotel stands out as a lovely and memorable accommodation in Rhodes Old Town. We stayed three nights. Konstantina is the heart and soul of the place! She picked us up from outside the old town walls in her electric vehicle (lots of cobblestones would have made the distance tough with suitcases). She gave us her personal cell phone and was happy to answer questions and give us tips about the town, including getting us dropped off at the station for a bus trip to Lindos. Breakfast was excellent! We filled up on fresh bread, yogurt, cheese, meats, eggs and large cups of cappuccino! Konstantina even went out and bought beef slices since we don't eat pork. 100% recommended!

The Allegory Boutique Hotel is set an excellent location inside the old city of Rhodes but away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. The staff are incredibly helpful with an amazing breakfast. The highlight is that the rooms have their own steam bath, which is very welcome after. Along day in town or in the water! We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it!

This was our second stay at Allegory Boutique Hotel and as per our previous time it didn’t disappoint in any way or form. We caught the ferry from our local town Fethiye in Türkiye and arrived in the dark, quickly spoke to the taxi driver who made contact with the hotel to meet us at one of the entrances to Rhodes Old Town, a short 5 minute drive and we were greeted by Kalliopi who instantly recognised us from the previous year and greeted us as though we were family, we hopped on the golf buggy and made the short journey up to the Hotel, we quickly checked in and Kalliopi showed us our room, last year we booked the suite with the jacuzzi, this year we decided to stay in the suite with the steam room so didn’t really know what to expect and it was a WOW…!! An absolutely wonderful room with a cozy seated area at one end, then the bathroom, a large double bath, sink area and an amazing steam room, Kalliopi quickly showed us how to control it and left us alone to get settled in, ten minutes later she’s knocking on our door with some complimentary Prosecco, freshly squeezed orange juice and ice cold waters, such a welcoming touch. Earlier in the week we emailed them to choose a nice restaurant that wasn’t too far away for 8.30, last year we did the same and they booked us Marco Polo which was amazing, unfortunately it was too late in the season so it was closed, however, they booked a different restaurant for us, they reserved a table for us at Ta Petaladika, it was that good we went there the following night as well…. So after travelling over from Turkiye, a few wines and plenty of food it was time to retire. Next morning we were up and about and went down for breakfast only to be greeted by the ever cheerful Konstantina again, we were greeted as though we were family, both of them are such lovely, welcoming and most helpful staff you could ever wish for.. Next morning,, a wonderful fresh Rhodian breakfast and it was time to check out, you have to check out of your room by 12.0 but our ferry wasn’t leaving until 3.30 so we had time to kill, Konstantina had already offered to take us to the taxi area in the buggy even though it was her afternoon off & she also offered us the use of our room for as long as we needed it for, we declined but typical of Allegory and such great staff. A long review but they deserve it, see you soon 😊

We stayed here for a week. Small hotel, really well situated within a 100 metres of main shopping and restaurant area but located in a relatively quiet side street. The staff, Konstantina and Kaliopi, were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and adequate in size with pleasant outdoor area available for breakfast. We did have an unusual issue with the illuminated light switches which gave out too much light for our liking. We are used to sleeping in total darkness. We overcame this with paper and sticky tape! If we were to come back to Rhodes we would be likely to stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it

Well-appointed boutique hotel right in the heart of Old Rhodes - surrounded by Medieval-era stone streets. Staff were wonderful and very attentive. A very nice Continental breakfast was served right in front of each hotel room, in the stone courtyard. Short walking distance to the major historical/cultural sites of Old Rhodes.

Excellent hotel at the heart of Rhodes Old Town. The breakfast was excellent and the service even better. There is a late charge for flights arriving past a certain time, which is €40 however they do share this on their website. The staff couldn’t have been lovelier or more helpful. Quiet hotel too - we never heard any of the other guests.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with very friendly staff and the most amazing breakfast. The location was excellent for all the major sites within the old town. My only complaint is that it was only after we booked our stay that a surcharge appeared for our late arrival and, when we were checking out, only then were we told we had to pay in cash. A visit to an ATM meant we missed our planned transport to Lindos. This info needs to be clearly stated.

Great location in the old town - walkable to shops restaurants and bars. Nicely laid out rooms. We liked that Daphne was at the end of the balcony as it meant the outside area felt private - the rooms can be a bit dark without the door open. Staff were great and accommodated our request for a kettle and mugs. Breakfast on the terrace is a treat.

Beautifully appointed, restored heritage building. Staff are warm and very helpful. Perfect stay in the Old Town of Rhodes. Very good value for money.
