Lack of sunshine around the pool We stayed (3xAdult, 1xTeen) for four nights whilst attending a sporting event nearby. On entering the hotel, it looked pleasant. On entering our room however, we got old damp kind of smell. The fridge did not function and we reported it on several occasions and it was never fixed. We did have an issue with the plug in the bathroom sink, which they rectified by removing the plug entirely. Housekeeping staff did a great job in the limited conditions. The room is very narrow, there is luggage table behind the door, meaning you cannot open it fully, and the bathroom is old, dated, and prone to leeks. However, shower pressure is good. We were told halfway through our stay the hotel is under new management. This is bringing a full refurbishment over the coming months and so explains why we were awoken before 8am one morning to the sound of hammering and banging. Would we stay again, probably not. There are so many alternatives in the area with similarly great locations, but with better facilities, for similar prices.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 20 year old daughter, after a visit to Bologna. We had rooms 410 and 403. We thought the hotel was excellent. It’s well location on the main “*****” at the front and backing on to the beach road at the back (pretty much like all the seafront hotels in Rimini). You cross the road and you’re on the beach. Despite its central location we didn’t find it particularly noisy. The staff make this place what it is. Each and every one we met was delightful, helpful and efficient. Special thanks to the reception staff who helped us with restaurant bookings, cancellations and printed out our airport shuttle bus tickets for us. Also to the bar and restaurant staff - they are so efficient, without making you feel rushed and nothing is too much trouble. The small pool is great, with nice cushioned sunbeds as well as chairs and tables surrounding it. The hotel is opposite beach 61 but has an arrangement with beach 67 (5 min walk) where you get 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for 18 euros, as well as a discount at the beach cafe which is as excellent. The hotel provides towels for the pool/beach - changed every 3 days or more often if you want and are happy to pay €3 per towel. The rooms are basic but comfortable with all you need for your stay. Our room had a little kitchenette and sofa. Decent shower in the bathroom. Very good and much needed aircon - it was 33-35 degrees every day! . Breakfasts were plentiful and very nicely laid out with lots of choice. Barista made coffee, juices (not fresh but you could have freshly squeezed orange for a price). Fresh fruit including watermelon, yogurt, cereal, cheeses, ham, bread and a large selection of croissants and pastries. Also hot food - eggs, bacon, some veg and hot strudel - all rather good and topped up regularly . We didn’t use the spa except to change and shower before we left - it was brilliant - with everything you needed including hairdryers with diffusers! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel - it was lovely.

Ho soggiornato per due notti presso questa struttura e mi sono trovata molto bene. La posizione dell' albergo è eccellente, a due passi dal mare e vicino a tutti i confort (negozi, ristoranti ecc). La camera era molto pulita e tranquilla. Nel frigobar tutti i giorni c'erano in omaggio due bottigliette d'acqua. Molto gradito il bollitore e le bustine di thè/caffè a disposizione nella stanza. Il personale molto gentile e con sorriso sulle labbra. Semmai dovrò ritrovarmi nella zona in futuro, valuterò di nuovo questa struttura.

I booked a room in the Diplomat Palace in Rimini 1,5 month in advance on the *********** with a flexible rate. I was totally suprised, that the hotel blocked all the amount on my credit card on the 2nd day after the booking. I asked help from the ***********, however I wrote to the hotel directly, we cancelled the booking, because this is NOT A CORRECT thing, to block all the amount 1,5 month in advance. The hotel answered me: ”In about 1 month the amount will be unblocked.” Now, actually I do not have any booking in this hotel anymore, and the HOTEL DIPLOMAT PALACE BLOCKED MY MONEY in my credit card FOR A MONTH!!!! I have never had a so BAD EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS ONE!!!!! Be carefull with booking in this hotel.

I stayed at the Hotel St.Gregory for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast is very plentiful and delicious. The pool is brand new, always clean and perfect to spend an afternoon in peace. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they also recommended great restaurants nearby. The location was great, the view from the room was stunning. I have nothing negative to say, our stay was perfect. Super recommended!🤩

Stayed for 5 nights with my mum and sister for a girls week away. The hotel staff were all very friendly to us so no complaints there. Each day our room would be cleaned, the hotel is aiming to be more environmentally friendly so won’t change your bedding during your stay and will only make your bed unless you specifically request for your sheets to be cleaned and will only change towels if you choose for them to be changed which we all appreciated as we like to be as eco friendly as possible. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a pair of someone’s bikini bottoms tied in with the curtains as well as some sand from the last guests on the floor, we just cleaned it up ourselves but was slightly disappointing on our first arrival. The hotel would offer a complimentary drink (a choice between red or white wine or aperol spritz as well as non-alcoholic options) for one night of our stay which we also found very nice. However, we were slightly confused as it seemed some nights they were offering light snacks alongside the drinks whilst on other nights they were not. The hotel was happy to book a taxi for us back to the station and whilst their restaurant was closed at the time, they were happy to order in from nearby establishments to make up for it if we so desired. They also offered breakfasts each day for an additional cost. We stayed in a room with one double bed and a single bed which was clearly a sofa bed but did the job. In the room were a small selection of coffee and teas but we did have to buy our own to top up and they only provided us with 2 cups and 2 glasses each day which was annoying as there were 3 of us in the room. The bathroom had a lovely shower and the hotel did provide soap and shampoo/shower gel.The TV was nice and big and allowed us to watch Italian TV and Disney+, YouTube and Amazon Prime if we casted it from our phones. Our room had a balcony with 2 chairs which was nice but could be improved if we were given 3, however it had a nice view into the town which gave it a lovely atmosphere as the town was alive until early in the morning. The hotel also had an outside pool which was relatively cold and rather small but we did swim in it on one of our days and it was nice. Overall, the hotel was quite nice and I don’t really have any huge complaints.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel in occasione del nostro anniversario di matrimonio. La struttura è molto bella, moderna, ho apprezzato molto la camera, la pulizia e la disponibilità del personale, per non parlare della posizione fronte mare. Sul sito però viene dichiarato che hanno questa Terrazza Panoramica fronte Mare dove in estate fanno servizio di degustazioni tipiche e aperitivi.. mi sarebbe piaciuto molto usufruire di questo servizio, per iniziare bene i festeggiamenti, ma alla nostra richiesta ci hanno detto che non era possibile, senza darne motivazione. Considerando che era il 13 luglio, quindi piena stagione estiva, non capisco il perché. Un'altra delusione è stata la colazione: da un hotel 4 stelle mi aspettavo molto di più, c'era poca scelta, qualità del cibo cosi cosi, a mio parere una colazione da hotel 2 stelle. Nel complesso bene, ma ci sono alcune cose da migliorare..

My wife and I stayed here last week for one night - but would love to come back and stay longer. Very near the amazing long beach south of Rimini (less than a block from the water). Rooms are very clean, new from the looks of things. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was decent size as far as European hotels go (have been in hotels with much smaller bathrooms). Best part was the breakfast you get. Cool system they have going - when you check in they give you a menu checklist for the next day's breakfast. Put your room number on it and give it to the front desk staff the night before, and they'll put together what your order is for you the next morning. No buffet spoilage or waste - you get exactly what you asked for. The front desk staff member who checked us in (sorry, forgot his name) was hilarious - he wanted to see LOTS of food being checked off on the breakfast order, and when we handed it in he seemed mock annoyed that it wasn't enough. Very friendly, willing to offer suggestions, call a cab, etc. Would highly recommend the place, although it is far from Rimini's historical centre (about 5 km away). Our room rate was also the cheapest for one night we stayed anywhere in northern Italy, so it helps with keeping budgets reasonable.

Lungo week-end pasquale. Personale gentilissimo, educato e sorridente che già dal primo approccio telefonico dimostra la propria disponibilità e cortesia. Hotel pulito e ordinato, sia negli spazi comuni che nelle camere. Colazione assolutamente degna di nota, con tante proposte di ottima qualità. La cucina (solo colazione) si attiva per soddisfare ogni richiesta in modo rapido e davvero apprezzabile. Preparazioni sul momento, proposte salate e dolci, servizio al tavolo. Posizione comoda con viale Ceccarini - raggiungibile in pochi minuti a piedi - e vicino alla spiaggia. Possibilità di parcheggio sotterraneo e videosorvegliato. Gli esterni non si presentano benissimo, l’hotel necessiterebbe di qualche intervento di manutenzione (arredi esterni e facciate così così). Le camere sono graziose ma piccoline, adatte per un breve soggiorno ma poco comode per periodi più lunghi. Suggerisco un frigo bar più fornito, anche a pagamento, e di aggiungere un bollitore. Manca purtroppo un’area bar (forse non operativa in questo periodo). Hotel Pet Friendly, che sconsiglio a chi poco tollera la presenza di animali ma che invece è super adatto a chi viaggia con il suo peloso, al quale sono riservate numerose attenzioni e accortezze. Tornerei anche solo per la colazione e l’ambiente amichevole e cortese, che è la vera forza della struttura. Con qualche miglioria e rivedendo qualcosina potrebbe raggiungere quasi la perfezione. I proprietari si sono contraddistinti per correttezza e professionalità; eccezionali padroni di casa ed esperti albergatori che hanno rimediato a un problema in modo distinto e inaspettato, dimostrando grande signorilità, competenza ed efficienza.
