Ulasan Hotel São Bento da Porta Aberta & Spa

It is a nice hotel right in front of S. Bento’s church. It has a couple of restaurants nearby but we always had dinner at the hotel. Great food, both breakfast and dinner, and each plate had a very generous amount of food, good enough to share with another person. Pillows are too soft, beds are good, rooms are also nice but are not sound proof. You can access the Spa for an hour as long as you book it in advance and it costs you 10€ per person.

Having a balcony to sit outside was a really nice plus. And an elevator made it much easier for me. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Even though it was across the street from a major pilgrimage sight - it was quiet and view of the lake quite calming. One drawback was no way to heat water for tea. Everything was pretty much about coffee which I like but I also like herbal tea at night Although I couldn't hear voices the sound of knocking on the ceiling walls - woke me up a few times.

Location is nice. Was a good bar with nice beers nearby. Also a nearby restaurant (Cávado) was very good. Try the beef on stick. However the pillows and bed was not the best. I had a too small pilow so could not sleep well.

Everything is very good, from the friendliness of the staff, to the beautiful spaces, to the food, ...

Hotel bem localizado, com estacionamento em frente ao Hotel. Quarto bem limpo e espaçoso. Pequeno almoço bastante bom, com variedade. Utilizamos o restaurante no jantar, a comida estava bastante saborosa e bem servida. Os funcionários atenciosos e simpáticos. Recomendo!

Um hotel bem localizado, remodelado no interior de uma forma muito agradável, um pequeno fantástico e os colaboradores são muito atenciosos e simpáticos. Recomendo!

Très bel hôtel situé juste en face d’un lieu réputé au Portugal Nous avons une très belle vue sur cet endroit ainsi que sur le fleuve. Personnel au top. Et de très bons conseils pour visiter une très belle région Parking devant l’hôtel Très bon petit déjeuner Très propre

Simpatia na generalidade dos funcionários, mas falhas no atendimento de que não gostei mesmo nada.

Hotel bem localizado mas oferece poucas comodidades. O SPA é pago, o que estando um tempo mau no exterior dava jeito ser gratuito, pois não existe mais nada que se possa fazer (mesa bilhar sempre ocupada - logicamente), nem uma sala de estar condigna.

Qualidade do serviço e das instalações é excepcional! O jantar do restaurante do Hotel estava perfeito.
