Check in was easy. Our room was spotless, warm, comfortable and a very good size. It is a pet friendly hotel and welcomed our quiet dog. Breakfast was self serve and selection ample to fill up for the day. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The car park is quite large and although first come, we had no trouble parking. We had food there for one lunch and one evening meal… food tasty enough.. drinks on pricier side. The hotel has lovely grounds that are constantly maintained. Over three days we saw windows cleaned outside, gardeners and all areas were clean and spotless incl pub loos. The hotel is within a five minute walk of the centre of Ripon and five minutes in the car to Fountains Abbey, Studley Deer Park and Ripon racecourse. I felt this was a gem of a hotel and v reasonable price for such a lovely experience. Thank you 😀
