After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. We always stay at Staybridge Suites when visiting Rochester and have always enjoyed it because of it’s location on the river. If you have a river view room there’s a great view. The room is very large with a good little kitchen (which we never used) and a totally separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. BUT a word of caution: Right now the hotel is undergoing some kind of renovation on the 3rd floor. i kept answering our door but the sound turned out to be construction on the floor below. The constant use of the elevator by the construction people made for long waits for the elevator so we had to use the stairs. By fair the worst trend is that there is NO room cleaning service on the weekends, so if you come on a Friday night you can expect your room to look kind of dreary through Sunday. I don’t care for this trend at all. They don’t even change the towels. Ugh. The TV is very hard to work and we had to call the desk twice as we were settling in—once because there were NO hangers and once because there was no hairdryer. So, if you want a hotel that’s up and running, this is not a particularly good time to stay at the Staybridge. There are no extra amenities here such as a magnifying mirror etc.

we normally stay here when in the area for work as it is an excellent location and near the interstates. the airport is about 6 miles away so not truly an airport hotel but close enough that is is not to far a stretch. the rooms are updated and clean. the hotel is quiet and the staff are excellent from the front desk to the lounge to the housekeepers. i highly recommend this Marriott if in the area.

I am a student it was my first trip to Rochester to join the university of Rochester i stayed only 1 night the hotel was good like a 3 star hotel it was clean the breakfast was good the overall experience was good i am satisfied

I am a Diamond member via Hilton Honors. We booked a 3 night stay Friday thru Monday on points for first 2 nights and paid for the Sunday night. The hotel took the total cost of the three night divided it by 3 and charged me $223 USD for a Sunday night stay even though the hotel was completely empty. Upon check out I questioned the front desk and told them that if I had booked Friday and Saturday on points and then made another reservation for Sunday paying at the members rate, it would have been much cheaper. The attendant agreed, but couldn't figure out how to correct it and advised me to call Hilton Honors to resolve and she would make a not on file. I have called Hilton Honors several times and no one can seem to help and advised that someone would call me back, that was a few months ago. Today I called Hilton Honors and they said there was no case file, of course. Todays agent (Theresa) agreed that If i had booked as described I ”probably” would have got a better rate. I asked why you wouldn't just extend a diamond loyalty member the best price, she couldn't or wouldn't answer that. I asked for a supervisor to speak to and she advised there isnt any??? Really.... everyone has a supervisor at a call centre and I was willing to wait. Rude, unwilling to satisfy a loyalty member and a general ”it's your fault for booking that way” attitude didn't feel good either. Hilton2 Suites didn't care, Hilton Honors doesn't care about customer service and I will assume if any Hilton people read this they won't care. Sad ending to what was a good relationship for personal and business travel. I'm done with this hotel and Hilton overall. They have the absolute worst customer service and there are plenty of other choices of hotel chains offering better loyalty programs and I bet they call back their customers to resolve issues. If you stay at this hotel and have a billing issue, GOOD LUCK

Does not deliver Marriott experience in many ways. To note, I was staying at the Roch Airport Fairfield Inn for business on a Thursday and Friday night - just so happens, the PGA Championship was also in Rochester that week... Thursday night check in and sleep - no problem. Beds are ok. However, I did notice a faint smell of something I would describe as a combination of cigar smoke and mold. Not nice. Friday breakfast rather disappointing. Hot breakfast starts at 8am but when I arrived at 8:10, they were already out of all of the hot items for breakfast and no water in sight. Kitchen staff looked puzzled as to where the food had gone and took their time bringing out more. Food was welcomed and good. No water - get it from the workout room or front desk I was told. Really? Many chairs broken and uncomfortable to sit in. Went to shower after. No hot water. Shower handle barely moves. I do my best to wash in cold water (sink wasn't much better) and tell them at the desk of the issue. They seemed to have known about this! Told me ”it was supposed to be fixed yesterday” blah blah whatever. I would like another room then. NOPE - full up. It is PGA weekend! They did not suggest that all of the hot water MAY have been used up by the other guests...they knew they had an issue. Friday night about 10pm. Did they fix the hot water in my room? No one knows. Can I have another room? Nope - full up. I check the shower, no hot water and handle is now what I would call broken - would not shut off all the way. Guess I expected the no hot water thing but the broken handle? What is going on? Did maintenance mess something up more-so? I was awoken at aprox 11:30pm by the hotel manager knocking then entering my room - while I was sleeping. He immediately accuses me of ”flooding the whole hotel”. WHAT are you talking about?? The broken shower apparently was filling up the service space behind the shower...flooding my room floor, the next room over and 3 rooms below. He notices the handle is broken and shuts of water from service space. Strange thing then happens: he immediately produces keys for another room just around the corner. Other rooms miraculously became available for me and for 3 other guests. Truly a miracle when you have been told twice that they are full and there are no other rooms for you. Reality: they had rooms. Bigger rooms. No other amenities - just more floor space as it was a corner room. No one initially wanted to spend the 6 mins to type and change my room - so laborious. I had to ask for the one night compensation - they were not going to give that to me. NOPE. DAB

Service at the front desk was efficient. We are elderly and a young man who worked at hotel assisted us with our luggage upon arrival and refused a tip. What a shock.🫢 Both my husband I tried to give it to him. So great beginning! Give him a raise! The cleaning staff on the 4th floor was very helpful and courteous. The best part is the location. Everything you need is within a few miles if not across the street. This will be our return choice to stay. I’m only sorry there were no warm cookies. They definitely should be given out on the weekend.

Suite was clean. But pets next door and across were barking...Bathroom was part of the bedroom, so any one staying in the suite had to go thru the bedroom to get to it. Breakfast was OK, simple, eggs were dry and they ran out of some selections by late morning. Better food at Cracker Barrel!
