Hotel dengan WiFi di Roermond

Hotel literally next to the trainstation. But no worries: in 2018 reopend and therefore no noice of the trains as long as you use the airco and keep the windows closed. It is in the center of Roermond. And one can park the car below the hotel (if available) at no costs. We had bikes with us (as many guests had) and could park them in a special bike area. This had an extra lock on the door, so only the guests with bikes could enter this area. Really lovely. Also good beds and clean room and a modern bathroom. The breakfast is good and a lot of choice; fruits, yoghurt, various breads, a toaster, cheese, meat and sweet stuff to go with your bread and eggs, good coffee and pancakes. Fresh juice which you could make yourself. I probably forget something.... but one thing I know for sure: everyone could take what he/she wanted. On the other side of the rather busy road one could take a drink in one of the cafés. The walking area to the shops started there too. To go to the Designer Outlet takes a moderate person 15-20 minutes. To the river Roer 15 minutes and several markets 5-10 minutes. The only lesser thing which I can think of is that the smokers did go the terras in front of the hotel. Because they were allowed to smoke there. For people like me the place becomes a no go area then. All 8 tables around the place where we sat, did smoke. Sometimes 3 or 4 people at one table. It bothered me a lot, because although I don’t smoke, I had to smoke. My advise to the management: make an area for the smokers and separate it from the non smokers. Or tell people to smoke somewhere else.

Ideal when you get into town via train, the new wing is really well laid out and the access is straight forward. An easy walk to the bars and shops.

We visit Holland every year & travel around always staying in van de valk hotels. We have always found them very comfortable, convenient & great value for money. We had originally booked the Palace van de valk hotel in Dordrecht, but had an email previous to us arriving, to say there was currently work being done in hotel & the use of lifts not possible. So we cancelled & chose to stay at Arresthuis hotel instead. We found it quirky but a little officious on arrival. The carpark could be a problem as very small, but we were lucky each day fortunately. We had to pay for use also! The room once we got used to the Wow feeling of being a former prison cell, was ok but lacked the comfort & warmth of our usual van de valk experience. We would also like to point out that they have NO ENGLISH TV at all!! We found that totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel & complained about it. As our weather was bad throughout our stay we were in our room more than we would normally be! Nothing they could do they said as they hadn’t got Uk tv on there package deal! We did not eat in the restaurant, as found the prices of the set meals only far too expensive. This is not a van de valk experience we are used to & will definitely not be returning. But, I see from a lot of reviews, that a lot found it to their taste. So each to their own I guess.

In July of this year (2022) we stayed a couple of nights at Hotel Dux in Roermond. Perfect location near the centre of Roermond and with a view on the river Roer. They offer excellent and very friendly and helpfull hospitality. Rooms are very good: quality beds and great bathroom. Besides that the restaurant offers excellent quality for breakfast and diner. Parking is available underneath the hotel but you have to make a reservation. And if interested the Designer Outlet is within walking distance.

Prima hotel. De medewerker aan de balie kijkt uit naar zijn pensioen of dreigt burn out klachten te hebben. Hoe we tewoord werden gestaan was op het randje. We vertelden dat we te vroeg aangekomen waren en wilden vragen of we onze bagage ergens konden achterlaten. Daar kregen we de kans niet toe. Er werd direct door meneer gereageerd met : Jullie kunnen het om 15 u nog eens proberen.

This was the dirtiest hotel that I have stayed in for a long time. The room was spacious, not overlooking the water as booked. The carpet was covered in old coffee stains. The manageress advised me, when I complained, that the hotel was very short of funds and therefore had no money for cleaning carpets and other furnishings. ( this made me question whether she was a manageress as it’s not the sort of conversation to have with guests) we stayed as we had unpacked but consequently did not eat in the hotel as we were unsure of the cleanliness in the main building. The hotel presents itself as a luxury stay, however, the basics are not taken care of. Checking out receptionist was horrified that we had such a reception at the check in.

This hotels in a good spot near bars and restaurants, its clean the rooms are nice and it's got good parking. However the customer service is very poor. Usually (Ive stayed s few times) you have some disinterested youth at reception who can barely focus on you, your needs, your booking etc. Inattentive poor service basically in fact almost almost rude.. for the management of this place. It takes very little for your staff to be attentive - its free and makes customers feel welcomed and not like they are a distraction from Tik Tok...

Das Hotel liegt in der Altstadt direkt an der Rur (Roer). Entsprechend der historischen Bausubstanz hat es keinen Aufzug und steile Treppen. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Das Restaurant ist urgemütlich und sehr gut besucht. Frühstück und Abendessen waren in ausgezeichneter guter Qualität. Das Haus bietet ein gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Parkplätze gibt es in der Nähe in öffentlichen Parkhäusern. Gerne wieder 😊

Uitstekend hotel wat aan de buitenzijde wat zakelijk oogt maar op een perfecte plek ligt om een weekendje Roermond te doen. Goede parking met mogelijkheden om elektrisch te laden en uitstekende hospitality. Ruime kamers met ruime badkamers en goede bedden. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en erg goed! Koffie van een hoogwaardige kwaliteit. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend! We komen zeker terug!
