Hotel Dengan Bar di Gansu, China

Its a very beautiful hotel . Staffs are friendly and smiling . They have huge breakfast selection but i would say its okay in taste wise. Walkable distance to Mingsha Mountain . If you are using a Didi or Taxi to come in this hotel either from airport or from Mogao Exhibition Center , its called Dunhuang Mountain Villa . I noticed that taxi drivers or the App doesnt pull or know The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel You can easily find nice restaurants for lunch and dinner right next to it. The hotel itself have super nice breakfast buffet and lots of free snacks and drinks in the lobby It's not so far from airport and only 500m from railway station 👍 It was a perfect stay for us👍👍

Overall, decent stay. The hotel has a great aesthetic to it, although it can be a bit dark and dim at night. The room lights match this aesthetic and are pretty dim as well. The room itself was a bit on the smaller side, with a bathroom door that doesn't give much room for you to enter between its swing range and the toilet. The bathroom door did not seal well and water got all over the floor. There isn't any space in the bathroom to put your stuff, and only the shower door handle to hang your towel. There isn't a strong cigarette smell in the lobby or room which is a pleasant surprise compared to most chinese hotels, only a slight lingering smell in the hallways. Breakfast which was included was very nice. The hotel is on a street with decent amount of restaurants and shops. Location wise I don't think there's much to do in the city and one would mostly travel by taxi or didi anyway. The staff were very pleasant and one of them even let me stay in my room until 4pm without charge since my train wasn't departing until the evening.

Before the trip, Xiao Tian chatted with us via WeChat to ensure we get our desired room and choice of dinner menu. She then created a group chat with other service members, to ensure that all our requests and needs prior and during the stay are met. The service was really great. We changed our airport transfer to a dropoff to another hotel in Dunhuang city. We were upgraded to a tent and the facility was great. Room was exactly as shown on Trip. Plenty of water was provided in the room, which was convenient. We were there during low season and there were only a few guests, and it felt like we had the entire desert to ourselves and it was great to walk around and take photos.

The staff was super nice. The young guy even walked me to the bus stop and wait with me even when it was very cold. No bus was coming after a while and he got me a driver. The rooms are nice decorated and clean. It is walking distance and very convinience from the West entrance to see the colorful mountains. Unfortunately, is far from anything else, but still it was worth the staying.

Saya pergi dengan ayah saya dan menempah dua bilik double, kedua-duanya berhampiran jalan, yang agak bising. Kami tiba di restoran pada pukul 7:30 pagi, dan ia penuh sesak dengan orang ramai. Tidak ada tempat duduk, jadi kami terpaksa mengambil semangkuk mi dan kembali kemudian. Apabila kami balik, kami perlu menunjukkan tiket makan kami. Nasib baik kami berdua, jadi kami mempunyai empat tiket makan untuk dua bilik double, jika tidak, kami tidak boleh bersarapan. TV tidak berfungsi. Hotel ini sangat bersih dan terawat dengan baik. Secara keseluruhan, saya rasa ini adalah hotel terbaik di Xiahe. Jika anda mahukan penginapan yang lebih selesa, hotel ini agak bagus. Tak jauh nak berjalan kaki ke Biara Labrang. Tempat letak kenderaan adalah percuma di hotel, jadi anda tidak perlu memandu ke tempat letak kereta di kawasan yang indah. Nisbah harga-prestasi agak baik.

I don’t usually bother leaving reviews, but our stay was such a pleasant one that I felt compelled to share. My husband and I truly enjoyed all five nights here. The experience absolutely lives up to the Sheraton name and the staff consistently went out of their way to help with anything we needed, especially 小刘 from the concierge team, who was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised to find a humidifier in the room, such a considerate touch for a desert town with very dry air. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great spread including pancakes and waffles, which we really appreciated as international travelers. The location is also very convenient, just a 10-minute drive to the Mogao Grottoes. Overall, a very comfortable stay with great food without the need of leaving the hotel for dinner. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place where comfort and service truly matter.

Perfect location for visiting the Rainbow Mountains, with the western entrance in walking distance. The exceptionally friendly reception also recommended scenic spots in the area, and we were able to borrow traditional clothing for our photo shoot free of charge. The overnight stay in a heated yurt was very comfortable, with shower and toilet facilities within easy reach. The breakfast was excellent and varied; even our demanding children gave it two thumbs up.

This Hotel is really nice. If we could we would give 10 stars :) The whole building and the rooms are very, very nice and pretty. There is a lot of high attention to details. Very, very lovely! The service is absolutely friendly and helpful. If we go again in this area, we will decently choose this guesthouse again. Absolutely recommendable!!!
