Its a very beautiful hotel . Staffs are friendly and smiling . They have huge breakfast selection but i would say its okay in taste wise. Walkable distance to Mingsha Mountain . If you are using a Didi or Taxi to come in this hotel either from airport or from Mogao Exhibition Center , its called Dunhuang Mountain Villa . I noticed that taxi drivers or the App doesnt pull or know The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel You can easily find nice restaurants for lunch and dinner right next to it. The hotel itself have super nice breakfast buffet and lots of free snacks and drinks in the lobby It's not so far from airport and only 500m from railway station 👍 It was a perfect stay for us👍👍

Overall, decent stay. The hotel has a great aesthetic to it, although it can be a bit dark and dim at night. The room lights match this aesthetic and are pretty dim as well. The room itself was a bit on the smaller side, with a bathroom door that doesn't give much room for you to enter between its swing range and the toilet. The bathroom door did not seal well and water got all over the floor. There isn't any space in the bathroom to put your stuff, and only the shower door handle to hang your towel. There isn't a strong cigarette smell in the lobby or room which is a pleasant surprise compared to most chinese hotels, only a slight lingering smell in the hallways. Breakfast which was included was very nice. The hotel is on a street with decent amount of restaurants and shops. Location wise I don't think there's much to do in the city and one would mostly travel by taxi or didi anyway. The staff were very pleasant and one of them even let me stay in my room until 4pm without charge since my train wasn't departing until the evening.

Staying here was an experience I will never forget. Being able to have such direct access to the dunes is a total luxury and very special to enjoy them without all the crowds and tourists you will find at Mingsha Mountain and the Crescent Lake. Staying here one has to accept certain restrictions of comfort with the realities of staying in an RV, but it is well worth it. Just note that the location provided is not the exact point where the Reception is located, so be sure to ask for the correct address location to give to the Didi/Taxi driver as it is otherwise difficult to find the right place to go. The staff overall were very responsive and they were very accomodating to come and transport us to the main entrance from where we could call a Didi and travel around freely. In April there was practically no one at the site and the weather was ideal - warm during the day and cool in the evenings. I would highly recommend.

The hotel was located within a short walking distance to the West Gate of the Zhangye Danxia which means we can stay until sunset which brought up the colours without the harsh shadow and glare when the sun is up. We visited twice in the late afternoon as the first day was cloudy. The room is clean and odourless with a good size. The owner’s wife helped us with using the free launderette in the top floor. The I owner took us to Binggu Danxia charging us the normal taxi waiting for us to finish. He is extremely helpful and honest. We have our dinner across the hotel and the food was not saltish and taste delicious. We had dinner and lunch there three times. The owner aent us off with oven dried dates. They have a lounge which I use. Highly recommended and good value

Clean, good service and very high quality rooms! Bad points: curtains have no blackouts, which makes you wake up with the sunrise, not letting much space for a good rest; breakfast not so good. I think for one of the highest prices in town, the could improve.

I don’t usually bother leaving reviews, but our stay was such a pleasant one that I felt compelled to share. My husband and I truly enjoyed all five nights here. The experience absolutely lives up to the Sheraton name and the staff consistently went out of their way to help with anything we needed, especially 小刘 from the concierge team, who was exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised to find a humidifier in the room, such a considerate touch for a desert town with very dry air. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great spread including pancakes and waffles, which we really appreciated as international travelers. The location is also very convenient, just a 10-minute drive to the Mogao Grottoes. Overall, a very comfortable stay with great food without the need of leaving the hotel for dinner. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place where comfort and service truly matter.

民宿是上下兩層的，我住的房間還帶個小院子，配了桌椅，晚上玩回來坐一會特別舒服，感覺像有了屬於自己的小天地，私密性很好。 村子裏偶爾會有點小飛蟲，不過影響不大。店裡還有咖啡廳和小酒吧，早上喝杯咖啡很提神，下午坐着發發呆也很舒服。 最喜歡晚上回到院子裏看星星，周圍很安靜，沒有城市裡的喧鬧，一個人坐着放空真的很治癒，松馳感直接拉滿。

This is a very special place to stay and the best option for visiting the Danxia Park. I visited in April and essentially had the site to ourselves. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, the food is also good. The site is ideal to be able to enter the park early to see the sunset as well as spend time close to the formations from the comfort of the camp. Like any camp one has to be prepared for shared bathrooms and showers, but the overall experience makes it totally worth it. At night it does get a bit cold, depending on the season, but with the heaters provided it was fine. I would highly recommend!

This Hotel is really nice. If we could we would give 10 stars :) The whole building and the rooms are very, very nice and pretty. There is a lot of high attention to details. Very, very lovely! The service is absolutely friendly and helpful. If we go again in this area, we will decently choose this guesthouse again. Absolutely recommendable!!!
