Camping Village Roma Capitol

We had a holiday the beginning of August for 2 weeks . The camp is extremely big with nice walk pathways . We could have morning and late evening jogs and I thought that was a really fantastic place away from the crowded city . The swimming pools are enormous and very clean the hygiene level quite satisfactory as its mandatory to have the swim caps . The animation was not quite good as there was no program to follow. They played the same music everyday did the same things in honest it was not up to standards. The reception staff were very good especially Monika , and the black lady were so helpful, professional and playful. Alessio fixed our problem with hot water twice a quite gentle young man always available and very kind . I did not like the restaurant much , the staff not so helpful, the pizza was very nice maybe a lot to be done on the restaurant area. The supermarket was a bit expensive and not a variety to choose from but then a few minutes from the campsite there is a big supermarket that served as a good alternative. The shuttle service not so good as the time is not so well placed . I thought they should have more hours. The driver is a lovely guy. The director was extremely professional very helpful and mindful. He fixed for us the issues with shuttle transfers by adding an extra shuttle and even drove us himself to the station . Connecting to Rome is quite easy . The play ground for the kids was terrible full of dust , such a huge place should do better . Generally we enjoyed our holiday the place felt so nice especially if you want to be away from the city routine it's a great hideaway.

We (family of 4 with 2 teens) have just returned from a 9 night stay and we booked with Eurocamp. We took a taxi from the airport and it cost €50. The site is large with quite a bit of work happening but this wasn’t disruptive. And everything seemed very new and clean. We got takeaway pizzas from the restaurant a few times and we all thought they were AMAZING! If you come out of site and cross the road and turn left and walk for 20 minutes there’s a lovely little traditional restaurant. A further 20 mins walk through the forest and you will be at the beach. If you come out of site and turn right and walk for 20mins you will find a large supermarket and a further 10 minutes will get you to the train station which will take you straight into Rome. Bike lanes are good for getting around the area. The reception and restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly. The pool areas are fantastic and so clean. You do need a swim cap. All in all, a brilliant holiday was had and we would definitely return.

Unfortunately i would not recommend, we were charged for food we did not receive, we had taken a shuttle to the beach and had to than wait over an hour to return when we had rang twice they said five minutes away, our shower setting is only at freezing and when we had maintenance come out we were told to do it ourselves and we can only have the shower hot for 2 minutes before it goes back to cold, you are also told you will get a kitchenette and or kettle but you do not we just got a fridge and that was it,

This is NOT a campsite it's a building site. No one should visit it. If it was in the UK it would be closed down by Health and Safety. Roads are in the state of construction. No grass has been laid. Pitches are not identified. Couldn't find a means of water supply apart from the toilets

Sun beds €5 each also umbrella. Rude waitress serving drinks (black shaved hair). Doesn’t even put them near you at the bar and you have to walk to get them. Fresh food in the shop looked like it was ready for the bin. Won’t be back or recommend!!

The baddest camping what I ever had experienced in my lifetime!!! I will never suggest someone to even take a day to even go over there!!! The baddest service what you can get ever!!! you have to pay for everything over there!! No towel or even cleaning!! You need to even pay for the wifi!! What is so bad connection. The wifi was almost every time going and coming very instable!! Never never in my life again!!! I can give a big minus to this camping village!!!!
