Stayed in Junior Suite Corso (room 311) 2023 October.
Asthetically the room is a fun modern take on 1970s kitsch style, and I mean that in a good way.
Hotel is entirely on the 2nd floor. Small (4 persons), but delightfully old fashioned lift.
Reception is manned from 9am to 9pm. Guests are provided with a front door key.
Good:
- The staff were friendly, pleasant and very helpful.
- Room cleaned well every day.
- The bed, pillows and bed linen were clean and good.
- Lots of towels and soaps, replenished daily.
- Excellent location, right by Piazza Venezia, which is central and a hub for many bus routes. Trevi fountain is closest, only 10 minutes walk away.
- After a long day walking, the in room massage chair and hot tub (jacuzzi) were just wonderful.
- Room is fairly spacious.
- Air conditioning seemed to work fine.
- Standard hotel digital combination type safe in the wardrobe.
- Nice rainfall shower with LED lights and also handset spray.
- Windows are double glazed, and have internal wooden shutters.
- Good fixtures and fittings.
- A small (typical hotel minibar size) fridge.
- Hair dryer provided seemed good.
- Mood lighting available in multiple colour options.
- Free wifi 20 Mbps.
Not so good:
- The lights, aircon, etc controlled by an app which is a little bit flakey.
- Street outside is a bit noisy. Double glazing and shutters do quite a good job of blocking most of the sound, but we could still hear a little street sound.
