We stayed four nights at this wonderful hotel - I refer to it as a Mary Poppins experience because it was practically perfect in every way. Amazing bilingual staff who strive to be accommodating, relaxing interior, nice breakfast, very good room, a gorgeous rooftop bar and an interior courtyard that gets one away from the bustle of the streets and reminds you that you are in Rome. Other important items include very close proximity to a wonderful gelato shop, ten minutes walk one direction to Rome Termini, the principal train station in Rome and ten minutes walk the other to the Cavour metro stop. We walked to the Coliseum in about fifteen minutes which means, of course, that you are then right in the thick of the main Rome attractions. There are excellent restaurants within five minutes walk and an incredible array of restaurants at about ten - fifteen minutes. The location is perfect. There is simply no question that any time we go back to Rome we still stay at this wonderful hotel.

This impeccably designed hotel is well located, close to the Colosseum in the Monti area. We loved that it was away from the hustle and on a quiet street but had plenty of restaurants nearby. We stayed in a superior apartment which was extremely spacious and had an original fresco on the ceiling. The thoughtful list that the hotel compiled with restaurant recommendations as well as points of interest were appreciated as well as the bottle of wine in the room. The true stars of this hotel are the staff - everyone we encountered at the hotel were incredibly friendly, caring and helpful. One person in particular, Serena, deserves special credit because she was able to help us with a real estate matter days after we had already checked out - this exceeded our expectations and cannot thank her enough for her help…bravo!

A quiet oasis in the centre of Rome. So glad we chose this place, a beautiful room with all the little extra touches, a peaceful garden and air conditioning and a lift that work. Following a long flight we needed a good nights sleep without the usual Rome traffic noises, and that is just what we got. After a days exploring Rome we would come back hot and tried, and could relax in the cool of the garden with a drink. The only noise was the occasional soothing sound of choir practice from the lovely little church next door. The friendly young staff were always happy to help and the restaurant was very nice, if you just wanted an evening in. The street it was located in had lots of interesting little shops and a bus stop and metro stop. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Rome

The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful. The rooms were spacious, gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very cozy. We didn’t want to leave our room! This is a hidden gem and would 100% recommend. A fabulous hotel in a great location! Walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping and historical sites!

We love the Sentho Hotel! This was our second stay there and it did not disappoint. Great location, beautiful and spacious room, beautiful design, comfortable beds. Jemma and Serena were outstanding in their help, and always cheerful. Highly recommended.

Quiet location despite being close to centre tasteful design and equipped rooms service from all staff is very good and they are so helpful with advice and recommendations good breakfast in the mornings, and in summer months a little courtyard and terrace we would certainly return to Sentho

Have to give a shout out to the Sentho Hotel in Rome. Right around the corner from Santa Maria Maggiore, so well placed. Old building with completely rebuilt interior, beautifully done Only a dozen rooms on three floors with a typically small lift. Rooftop bar on 4th floor; ground floor garden; small dining room serving good buffet breakfast with ordering option. Dinner available in the evenings, basic but adequate. The rooms are large and well appointed. Good beds. Our room had a big walk in shower, not sure about other rooms. And a wonderful staff, friendly, helpful to us for anything we needed. Quality operation. Heartily recommend!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Great location, great breakfast, great room. Would highly recommend. Very close to local attractions. Only a ten min walk from train station too. Anyone reading this and debating just book it you wil not be disappointed.
