Relais I Castagnoni

The owners were very accommodating as the booking did not indicate that they closed at 8pm in the low season. They received us at 10pm. The experience was friendly, clean and very characteristic. If you are staying in the area I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Not happy to give this review .As Italian i'm prod of my country but this place is a tourist trap. This was one of my worse experience in 45 year I'm travel around the world . Owners are farmer not very polite managing an old building and do not have any attention to customers . Is very expensive , Room are not in good condition and with very old furniture . People allergic to dust avoid this hotel. We have dinner but they do not kook and they use a catering . Meal cost is twice what you eat in a very good osteria .Absolutely low standard , low quality and very expensive . We have dinner in several other place where quality was way better at lower price even half price what we paid at Castagnoni . Wine is not good and way to expensive . There are many other very nice agriturismo in the area wher we had exellent food and very good biological wine . I need also to mention that only other guet was Russian and at breakfast nothing was left and have to wait fro eggs and other food . Rssian fil all the plate and eat half and we have to wait . VERY VERUY BAD EXPERIENCE AT VERY HIGH PRICE .

Lovely convent-converted-to-residential home. Lovely large room furnished with antiques but without a comfortable sitting area. Breakfast unremarkable. NOTE!! You will be charged 40 Euros to use the spa room. The staff did not inform us about this charge. On the day we visited the only thing that worked in the spa was a small hot tub. We could find no mention of the charge listed on their website. We traveled in Italy for 17 days and this was 1 of 2 hotels that charged for use of spa. We reached out to the hotel staff to request a refund for our 30 minutes in their spa, but they refused our request. Better value to be found in the area. Would not stay there on return visit.

The hotel and the surrounding area are beautiful. The area offers a lot of space and privacy, ideal for rest and recreation. The home baked breakfast cakes where delicious. We rented electric bikes trough the hotel, would recommend that.

Located amidst the hills in Piedmont, with superb landscape view. Owners welcome you personally, explaining the history ripe building and the collection of objects and artifacts they have carefully selected for furnishing this very very nice place. Castagnoni is full of history, dating back to Savoia Kingdom: heaven for a history fan like me. The rooms: each one different, with its own character. My colleague was delighted getting one with canopy bed! The place: walking in the park, looking at surrounding landscape: peace for mind and soul, even if we were on business trip! The surrounding: owners are very helpful advising you best place for dining (Castagnoni is a B&B), you won't be disappointed. A perfect place for starting a relaxing week in the middle of Piedmont hills Thanks a lot, grazie mille! Bis bald, Servus!

Truly lovely people the hosts, all of the staff was very sweet, helpful and friendly. Dinner at the property was delicious, as was breakfast. The setting is fantastic, very peaceful and unique. Recommend warmly

Posto meraviglioso e personale super attento e gentile. Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera I Girasoli, ambiente pulito e molto luminoso. C'è la possibilità di prenotare la Spa privata per due ore di assoluto relax con una bellissima vista, in compagnia di una buona tisana o tè caldo. Colazione con ricco buffet sia dolce che salato, le torte sono fatte da loro, il succo di mela è il più buono che io abbia mai assaggiato! La ragazza della reception ci ha consigliato degli ottimi posti dove cenare la sera, a pochi km c'è un' ampia scelta di ristoranti tutti con 4/5 stelle nelle recensioni. Torneremo sicuramente!

Bellissima esperienza. Siamo stati accolti da una famiglia di una gentilezza eccelsa che ci ha accompagnate con suggerimenti e tappe sul territorio molto valide. Spa elegante e molto accogliente. Da ripetere senz'altro. Lo consiglio a tutti!

Bellissimo ritrovo per persone di ogni età e possibilità. Consigliato da amici abbiamo passato un week end sereno in un angolo di Monferrato inaspettato. Ottima struttura con SPA anche per single o coppie. Offerta di massaggi molto valida. Prezzo corretto. Location enorme e molto pulita. Peccato non avere assaggiato la cucina che non era aperta nel weekend prenotato. Stanze spaziose e accoglienti. Breakfast ottimo. Gestione precisa e puntuale. Prezzo corretto. Ci torno per forza magari aspettando la piscina che apre. Moto Monferrato e Piscina sarà il trittico d'estate.
