Das Hotel hat eine SUPER Lage im Zentrum bzw Hafen. Der Service war KLASSE. Sehr freundliches Personal, da wir 4 Personen (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) waren, hatte eine Aufbettung gefehlt, die sofort nach Info von uns erledigt wurde. Auf dem Zimmer war viel Platz und alles sauber. Das Bad war groß und eine schöne Dusche.
Es gab einen Wasserkocher mit Tee, Kaffee zum selber machen. In der Lobby gibt es Wasser, Äpfle und Süßes zum mitnehmen. Die Dachterrasse im 10 Stock oder höher war für Jeden offen und man hat Liegestühle zum Sonnen und einen SUPER Blick auf Hafen und Stadt. Wir waren alle sehr zu frieden.

During a recent stay I had a health issue and called the front desk and spoke to one of the staff. She (sadly, I forget her name but it had an eastern European ring to it) was absolutely superb; she called an ambulance and the paramedics knocked on my room door only 20 minutes later. They let themselves in (as I was immobile) and took me to hospital. While I was in the A&E department I called again and the same lady made sure that room service would collect my belongings from the room and take them down to the front desk, where I later, after being released from hospital, was able to pick them up. The MotelOne staff deserve full marks for making sure a very difficult day did not turn out to be a really horrible one. My sincere thanks!

Eine einfache funktionstüchtige Ausstattung. Leider war durch eine Großgruppe die ersten beiden Tage kein Frühstück möglich. Es gibt in Rostock zwar viele nette und gute Cafés, aber die Suche gestaltete sich schwieriger als erwartet. Es war vieles morgens schon ausgebucht.
Ab dem 3. Tag hatten wir dann Frühstück im Hotel, was viel entspannter war. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Es gab sogar Hafer- und Mandelmilch, so war auch ich “gerettet”, da ich leider nicht alles essen kann und auf Cornflakes mit Obst angewiesen bin. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es war überall angenehm sauber.

We visited Rostock for the first time my wife and I. We stayed at Vienna House Sonne for 11 days. On our arrival, we met with Sonja who made us feel at home.. She met us every morning to see if all was perfect.. Indeed, everything was perfect.. the staff was always smiling and ready to help. The hotel is wonderful and very well situated in the heart of Neuw Markt..! All shops and city life at a walking distance. Trams to different part of Rostock were available and the station is at 30secs walk from the hotel. Thank you Sonja H and your staff for making our stay in Rostock memorable…! ❤️❤️ Vielen Dank 🙏

The location is great as it is just next to Rostock main train station, and the hotel offer every guests free local transport pass, a nice gesture for visitors in town.
For area of improvement, I think the hotel should have evolve from traditional practice(strictly check-in after 2pm) and allow early arrival guests to check-in as long as room is available.

Sehr modernes, stylisches Hostel. Auch uns als Ü50 hat es dort gut gefallen. Wir waren etwas überrascht über die engen Zimmer, aber Container sind nun mal so geschnitten...... Alles war sauber und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten waren bequem und das Bad und die Dusche einwandfrei. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir problemlos in einem Flurbereich abstellen. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Nur etwa 700 Meter bis in die Altstadt und direkt am Bahnhof gelegen. Der einzig negative Punkt ist der Preis. Ein Hostel, welches ja vorwiegend jüngere Menschen mit schmaleren Geldbeutel anspricht das 128 Euro ohne Frühstück pro Nacht nimmt ist zu teuer.

PPengguna TetamuWir bewohnten ein Doppelzimmer im 4 Stock, Fenster nach Süden, also Hofseite. Alle Waren und Dienstleistungen müssen mit Palettenwagen von der Straße in den Hof gekarrt werden. Eine Wendemöglichkeit für LKW gibt es nicht. Beurteilen wir zunächst das Bad. Das Waschbecken hält nur dann das Wasser, wenn man den Stopfen mit viel Kraft nach unten drückt. Die Duschwanne ist emailliert und sauglatt, Haltegriffe fehlen. Die Glastür zur Dusche öffnet sich nur nach innen. Das gibt es überhaupt nicht. Wichtig für die Beurteilung des Hotels ist ausschlaggebend, das sich im Zimmer kein Rauchmelder befindet. Ich dachte, das ist seit Jan. 2024 Pflicht, vor allen Dingen in öffentlichen Gebäuden. Ich hatte noch nie ein Hotelzimmer ohne Rauchmelder. Mit der durchgehenden Matratze, hatte man so seine Probleme, dreht sich der eine, hopst der andere Partner gleich mit. Die Temperatur war am Tage 28,6 Grad. Eine Klimaanlage, wenigstens in den Zimmern der Südseite, vermisste ich. Der Frühstücksraum ist in die Jahre gekommen und unübersichtlich. Bei 4 Sternen erwartete ich eine Tischdecke, frische Blumen waren da. Das Servicepersonal versucht nett zu sein. Im vorderen Raum befindet sich eine Kaffeerösterei, jedenfalls ein Röstofen. Für die verschiedensten Kaffeesorten wird Reklame gemacht. Das es 2 grundsätzliche Kaffeesorten, also Arabica und Robusta gibt und das letztere für das Koffein verantwortlich ist, schien vom Personal niemand gewußt zu haben. Das Angebot zum Frühstück war ausreichend, die Platten lagen auf Eis. Das war neu für mich. An Personal schien es nicht zu mangeln, das betraf die Rezeption und den SPA Bereich.

PPengguna TetamuDie Kommunikation direkt nach der Buchung verlief einwandfrei, die Bestätigung mit allen Details kam schnell per E-Mail. Da ich schon öfter im Hotel war, verlief auch der Check-in zügig, weil die Daten bereits vorhanden waren. Auch mein Zimmerwunsch konnte berücksichtigt werden. Das Hotel punktet mit seiner 1A-Lage an der Promenade. Die gastronomischen Einrichtungen decken eine große Palette ab, vom Café bis zur Broilerbar, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und serviceorientiert. Im Restaurant ”Dünenfein” wünschte ich mir ab und an ein klein wenig mehr Blick für die Details (z.B., wenn man als Gast noch etwas bestellen möchte) - das war vielleicht etwas dem Stress des Personals geschuldet, war aber schade. Nach einer Delle in der Servicequalität unmittelbar während und nach Corona hatte ich nun den Eindruck, es geht trotz aller Schwierigkeiten (Fachkräftemangel...) wieder aufwärts. Es werden offenbar viele junge Leute ausgebildet - ich wünsche ihnen, dass sie ihren Elan bei der Ausübung des Berufes nicht verlieren. Das Fitness-Center hat sehr moderne Geräte, ich mag auch den Pool. Das Bad im Zimmer schien mir renoviert worden zu sein - was den insgesamt positiven Eindruck verstärkt hat. Ich habe nicht das Gefühl, das Hotel sei ”in die Jahre gekommen”, wie einige Bewertungen vermuten lassen, aber das ist sicher subjektiv. Ich bin jedes Mal gern dort und genieße die Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels. Es ist preislich kein Schnäppchen - aber ich habe meine Wahl für meine Auszeiten in Warnemünde noch nie bereut.

EepikurberlinMan muß die Rostocker und einige andere Unterkünfte kennen, um dieses Hotel wirklich zu wertschätzen. Die Lage ist super für alle Unternehmungen. Service, Personal und Frühstück sind unschlagbar, ohne Schnickschnack. Mi Freude gern wieder.

Einfach furchtbar — da hat gar nichts gepasst. Sie konnten die Buchung nicht finden wegen des per E—Mail vom Hotel zu geschicktem CheckIns. Die Dame namens Bianca hat dann noch meinen Nachnamen beleidigt, obwohl der wirklich nicht schwer ist. Es wurde das falsch Arrangement vom Hotel gebucht bzw. eine Mitarbeiterin namens Stella, die auch von ihr beleidigt wurde. Sowas macht man vor Gästen nicht. Wir sollten statt einer Massage ein Cäsarbad bekommen. Massagen waren auch nicht mehr verfügbar, wir könnten am BBQ teilnehmen oder jeder eine Gesichtsbehandlung bekommen. Wir entschieden uns für die Gesichtsbehandlung, als wir dort ankamen war es dann doch eine Massage, obwohl Bianca uns das anders aufgeschrieben hatte und auch extra mit dem Spa telefoniert hatte. Das war sehr blöd, da wir nun eine Massage in der Innenstadt gebucht hatten, die auch besser war. Das Zimmer war wirklich altbacken, super hellhörig und viel zu warm. Das Frühstück war eklig, die Säfte schmeckten nur nach Wasser, das Rührei kam aus der Tube und die Brötchen waren von vorgestern, sehr trocken. Der angekündigte große Wellnessbereich war sehr klein, nur ein Becken und die Sauna war abgeschlossen — was eine Frechheit. Wir sind nach einer Nacht abgereist, aber es interessierte auch keinen warum. Über 500€ für 2 Nächte — für nichts.
