Hotel Rothenburg ob der Tauber dengan Sarapan

Wonderful hotel, very close the city wall with a fabulous breakfast! The front desk staff, especially Alex, couldn't have been more helpful. We stayed in a large, older room with lovely vintage furniture, very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very busy with many guests, but the staff was efficient and there were tons of options for food, coffee, cereal, etc. Great place to stay while visiting Rothernburg! Dinner was also recommended and very good at the Pizza Roma, a 7 minute walk away.

Für einen Besuch in Rothenburg können wir das Prinzhotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Schon einige Male haben wir dort einen Kurzurlaub verbracht und haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden immer super nett empfangen - das Personal hat jederzeit ein offenes Ohr für Fragen oder Wünsche und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Durch die gute Lage innerhalb der Stadtmauer ist man schnell im Zentrum der Altstadt und der Parkplatz P4 außerhalb liegt nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Für einen „Wellnessurlaub“ ist sogar ein tolles Zimmer mit Dampfdusche vorhanden. Nach einem schönen Tag in der Altstadt einfach herrlich. Im Restaurant essen wir gerne einen der leckeren Burger und auch zum Frühstück bleiben wir gerne im Hotel. Wir werden ganz sicher noch einige Wochenenden dort verbringen und freuen uns schon sehr darauf!

I love this hotel. Location is few minutes walk to the centre and 2 mins from train station by taxi. The hotel's history speaks for itself from the decor and the building. While the room is not those swanky modern decor, it is traditional and huge with a settee and table and a nice welcome card from the hotel. Just like staying in your favorite grandma's house. Comfy and adequate with all the usual hotel amenities. The room opens to a verandah with a good view of the surrounding area and one can hear the church bells ringing which makes my stay more authentic as if I am transported back in time. The bathroom is clean and adequate toilettries and has good strong shower. The staff are polite and professional. Breakfast is adequate with the usual servings eggs, cereals, cheese, breads, fruits etc. And they have elevator to take up my large and heavy luggage. I had a nice stay and wished I could extend my stay but my itinerary is tight. Perhaps next time.

My husband, 22 year old son and I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2022. We had a single room for our son (Room 23), and we had a standard double room (Room 10). Room 10 was large wtih a bed and two nightstands at the far end, a loveseat and coffee table, a desk, and a wardrobe area. It had skylights to let in lots of natural light, as well as a window that opened. The bathroom was large and modern, with a walk-in shower and a decent sized vanity. The staff was so friendly whenever we had questions, and they cared a lot about making sure we had what we needed. The hotel was so convenient to the Burggarten park, as well as just two blocks from the main square (Marktplatz). The best thing about the hotel was the lovely back courtyard where the dining room opened onto. We ate every meal there because the weather was so pleasant. Surrounded by lush flowers and greenery, it was such a beautiful setting. The food was delicious, and the lillet wild berry spritz cocktail was wonderful too! The breakfast, which was included in the cost, was typical German breakfast that we saw in other hotels on our stay as well. Lots of homemade pastries, cheeses, meats, cereal, etc. They would make you made to order eggs if you wanted them as well. Every inch of the hotel was spotlessly clean. It was so well maintained, and you can tell they care a lot about maintaining it for guests. Everything was in perfect working order. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we would definitely stay here again. A wonderful value for the money and our favorite hotel that we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Bavaria!

Stayed one overnight enroute to other locations. This is very much a vintage German gasthof run by an owner that very much cares about the place. It is not luxury but it is traditional. The location is excellent and the parking was nice to have. Everything you want to see in Rothenberg is within a few minutes. The town is why you come. I have been here dozens of times over a 30 year period and it never gets old. I reserved online last minute and while there was only one of me, the room was massive able to sleep 4 easily. I did not have breakfast but I am sure it would be good albeit simple traditional German (brot, cheese, jams, coffee, juice, meat, cucumber, tomato and yogurt...) To really communicate with the owner it is best to speak German. All in all, good stay and would stay again.

The room was spacious and just fine for our needs. Requested a room with A/C and was not disappointed. The desk staff were accommodating and friendly. The main gentleman seating people for dinner could have been a lot more friendlier. He was rather abrupt and several people wanted to sit in front of the hotel to enjoy their meal. He simply pointed to the Bier Garden with no explanation. The hotel is kind of funky with rooms situated on different levels and what seemed to be across connecting buildings. Many people were looking for they rooms and Mom and I got turned around more than once. The lift only went to one floor so we walked down one flight to walk across the building To catch the lift, then around a corner and up some steps back to the other building. I thought it was fun and gave the place old world charm.

年代を感じさせる施設なので、レトロな雰囲気は良かったです。仕方のない事ですが、日本の感覚で宿泊すると民宿にきた印象でした。部屋からの眺望は最高です。天気にも恵まれ、朝焼けと、綺麗な谷状の風景、民家の煙突からの煙。忘れられない思い出になりました。 それ以外は好印象で、6人で2部屋予約しましたが、3部屋に分けてくれました。従業員の対応も笑顔で優しく、言葉が通じなくとも親切に対応して下さいました。 朝食はとても美味しく、適度な種類数で満足ですし、何より食堂からの眺望が最高でした。
