L’Hotel était très bien situé, à proximité des commerces et des lieux culturels ! L’accueil était chaleureux et serviable. La chambre était agréable, et le service aussi.

Excellent value for the money. The hotel is very simple and basic, but clean, comfortable, exceptionally well-located within a couple blocks of the Cathedrale, Seine River, Flixbus station, metro, city bus, free Cy’clic public bike station, in the heart of the city center, with markets, bars, restaurants, and a huge variety of shops all around. The couple managing the hotel live onsite and are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a simple daily 5€ breakfast bar option with a variety of croissants and rolls, automated custom coffee machine with many options, yogurt, selection of fruit juices, and condiments. Our room had a pretty view of the cathedral and large windows that open fully. The bathroom is tiny, but adequate and clean. Contemporary, clean simple room had one double bed, one twin bed, and a small desk with chair, adequate for 2-3 persons, with little space for luggage. There were 2 electric outlets on opposite sides of the room, a small television, and readings lamps at the large bed. The hotel lacks an elevator. The upper floor hallway floorcoverings and lighting need work. But the lobby, dining area, and the rooms themselves are entirely agreeable. For the location and price, on a busy festival weekend, we got exceptional value.

I like stories written in lobbies, corridors, and rooms! The hotel has nice and essential amenities. The location is excellent in the city center close to restaurants and almost all points of interest.
Breakfast is ok, but a little expensive.
There are no slippers or carpets in the room and this is a little disappointing in the cold season.

We had an overnight stay after a long drive from Switzerland. Parking available under the hotel. Refreshing swim in the pool. The restaurant and food were formidable. The staff were friendly, polite young people and were happy and egar to help. The panacota desert was off the scale. Would most certainly return hear.

Chambre agréable et spacieuse. L’hôtel a eu une panne de Clim le jour de notre arrivée mais ils ont eu la gentillesse de nous prévenir et demander si nous maintenions la réservation. À 5 min à pied du vieux Rouen et parking de l’opéra à côté 16€ la journée. Petit dej continental bien fourni et bon, nous reviendrons !

Great place for a stopover. Hotel is close to river with numerous restaurants. Disconcerting was having to ring a bell to gain access to hotel. However greeted by a rally nice an friendly receptionist. Car parking is 12 euros. There is a height restriction and would suspect difficult to get a larger SUV into underground carpark. Very steep and narrow. Make sure you remember passcode as need that to gain access to parking area and hotel. Big surprise was size of room which was able to divide into two by a curtain. Contained a microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee machine as well as a safe. Able to buy microwavable meals in reception. Bed comfortable and whole room felt clean and fresh. Nice size bathroom with both bath and shower as well as hair dryer. Separate toilet. Our view was over a modern courtyard. Not nicest of views. Would ask for a river view. For location and comfort would definitely stay again.

First of all: You get what you can expect. It is a classic hotel for people, that are looking for a basic stay to explore or work. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was OK, good basic choice (have to say, I was not impressed by the scrampled eggs). There is an underground car park to be paid at the reception. It is necessary to go for it, as in the surrounding is limited parking space. For me as a business traveller it was important to have a very comfortable bed. Which was the case (4 pillows for choice). My dog could stay with me and had a window to observe the neighbourhood, while I was not there. It is a bit far to walk to the city center of Rouen. But there is a bus connection. There is a supermarket approx. 100m away, very comfortable. The rest of the surrounding is not that nice (mainly take away stops, no real restaurant), and in all fairness, for a tourist travel, I would recomment a stay closer to the city center.

Stayed in room 223 which was in front of hotel. In spite of it being a busy road the soundproofing did its job and there was little outside noise. Roundabout was fun to watch - not so much fun to get out onto when leaving hotel. The room was extremely comfortable. Bathroom had walk in shower and was modern and clean. Breakfast typical of Ibis/Novotel. Selection of breads, cheeses and hams as well as cereals. Nice view over Rouen Rugby ground. I parked in hotel carpark- remember to get code before leaving. Hotel about 20 minutes walk into city centre.

We stayed here for one night as part of our journey home. The hotel looks very basic from outside, but has lots of secure parking and is easily accessed from the motorway. It saves you driving into the city if you are just looking for a bed for the night. The reception staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The smart TVs mean you can connect to your own Netflix etc. should you wish to. We walked through the tree lined paths to the local supermarket and passed a variety of restaurants on the way. We ate dinner in the nearby Italian restaurant, which is within a two minute walking distance. The receptionist served us coffee at E1.50 which we took to our room in the evening. Breakfast was served in the little breakfast room and was as you'd expect; tasty with an adequate selection. The cost was very competitive and breakfast was included, as we booked directly with the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would use the chain again.

PPengguna TetamuPositives. Easy to find. In good location, 5-10 minute walk from historic centre. Secure parking available. Relatively cheap. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Bed Linen seemed clean. From there on its pretty negative. Parking is tight and limited. (i saw two people scrape their cars on walls and ceilings within 15 mins). Inconveniently placed concrete curbs and bollards make it tricky to get in and out with anything larger than a hatchback. Also had to block the entrance for everyone else whilst my wife got the access key from reception as there isn't a waiting bay for new arrivals outside the hotel. Hotel interior was dated and scruffy. Carpets dirty, reception smells of stale cigarettes. Overflowing cigarette ashtrays in the garden/terrace (which is basically the dead space between buildings filled with garden furniture. Room was small, dated decor, and lots of things were broken. Bed had a massive dip in it where springs had broken. Bath had black mould around. Light fixtures and telephone was handing off the wall. Hairdryer in bathroom was broken. Curtain didn’t pull far enough so room was bathed in light from 5:00. Walls paper thin. Unusual layout for hotel room, bathroom next to main bed. Toilet literally 1 metre from your bedside table (not much privacy). Had to sit on toilet at an angle because I could fit my knees in otherwise. Unfortunately there was a lack of care given to cleaning. Dust and hair under beds. We had used tea making kit still in the tray, and the toilet roll (which is housed in a black box rather than being lose) hadn’t been checked meaning we ran out after two sheets. Black mould around the bath. We were only given two towels despite them knowing we were three. Given shower gel to use as hand soap. Only 1 pillow each. Great location if you want to walk into town easily. Only 5 mins from historical centre. Although I would add that its right next to a massive busy road. Our room was at the back of the building on a working night so this didn’t affect us. (back of the room overlooks the smoking garden so it could be noisy if there were people out there). Reception staff really lovely, spoke very good English, and were accommodating of our terrible attempts at French. Breakfast was basic (continental style). Toast, jams, low quality patisseries. Sweaty jambon and fromage in a fridge cabinet, cereal, hot dogs ??? Yogurts and juice. Coffee machine. Tea making facility. Tubs of varying quality fruit salad. Most of the residents on the Wednesday morning that we attended seemed to be preparing for work. I assume that this hotel stays afloat by doing as little as possible but keeping things cheap so that they appeal to businesses trying to minimise cost. All in all it was a convenient place to stay for one night on our way through. But I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was half the price. Plenty of better options unless you are last minute desperate.

ZzongshengwordThis hotel is marketed as a budget hotel and you may not chose it as it is out of town BUT this hotel is clean and looks just like the pictures, yes there is a bit of bare MDF in the rooms but everything was great. Aircon worked breakfast was plentiful bed very comfortable. We had room 278 and was very quiet as over looked the car park. Parking was on site and they have lifts to all the floors. They have fantastic areas for lounging all with USB ports for devices. Just two minutes up the road up a side street is a funky pop up burger bar that does an array of foods including the best steak I have ever had. The hotel has a save the planet ethos which can be seen with paper cups in the bathroom and decor. It was a real gem staying here and a bus stop only two minutes away takes you into town for 1.7euroes each way. I would never stay in the centre too busy and this hotel gives you the tranquillity you want on a holiday. There is a also a posh pastry shop nearby too

We liked this small clean and conveniently located hotel in Rouen. Located on a quiet stree close to the river and within a 5 minute walk of the cathedral and centre of town, it had a small locked ground floor car park (15 euros/24 hours) and the reception staff spoke excellent English. It was a good place to stay and easy to find. We were warmly welcomed and our room on the third floor was small but adequate. It had a small bathroom with a shower, a tiny hanging spce for clothes, a comfortable 5 foot double bed, a small desk for work and a big screen TV. The room was quiet, modern and clean - and serviced daily. However, although it had a hair drier, there was no tea nd coffee making facilities and a only a very slow wi-fi connection. Downstairs there was a plesant breakfast area (13 euros per person) where you could also sit and chat to friends. (We found it cheaper to buy some croissants and coffee at a cafe in Rouen centre). I would have given the hotel a higher rating if the internet and coffee facilities ahd been better. But I would come again. The location was excellent, the staff friendly and the hotel perfectly good.

MMargo TokNiestety nie skorzystaliśmy z tego hotelu,po rezerwacji pokoju na stronie trip.com okazało sie,że nie ma pokoi w tym hotelu.Pani w recepcji rozłożyła ręce i zaproponowała nam pobyt w innym hotelu.Zostaliśmy przerzuceni do hotelu sieci campanille.daleko za miastem z opłatą za taksówkę we własnym zakresie.
Skandal.takie rzeczy jednak zdarzają się.
Niezadowoleni w odległym hotelu spedziliśmy jednak miłe trzy dni w pięknym mieście Rouen.
Prośba by w recepcji hotelu bardziej panie przykładały sie do sprawdzania rezerwacji i powiadamiania o jakichkolwiek zmianach trochę wcześniej by nie zostać pod gołym niebem.a skończenie było ogromne.niemiła sytuacja dla obu stron.

I wound up booking here because I couldn't get two consecutive nights in other hotels I checked. I figured this was a chance for me to save some money and make up for overspending on other parts of my trip. The hotel was relatively close to the train station (10-minute walk) and to the Musee de Beaux Arts, the cathedrals, and other Old Town sights. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. HOWEVER, the hotel was a big disappointment. It was dark and kind of creepy because I never saw another guest. There is no one at the front desk most of the time, so you need to let yourself in and out. In the pictures, the place looks adorable, but I found it depressing. The antiques looked more like items you'd find at a garage sale, and the bathroom was in serious need of an upgrade. Aside from the sink and shower faucets, it looked like it hadn't been touched since the late 50s. The tile and fixtures were all pink and gray, and the toilet seat didn't match the toilet. Even with the lights on, the bathroom was dark. There is no air conditioning or fan; kept the window open because the room was so stuffy. The highlight of the second night was seeing two mice running across the floor and then disappearing under the heater. I complained about this when checking out, but I wasn't offered any compensation other than a free continental breakfast, which I didn't have time for and, with the mice in mind, wouldn't have eaten anyway. Would never stay here again and don't recommend it.

Jjujupolnaaccueil tél du samedi soir très bien - et accueil sur place le dimanche du même monsieur toujours très gentil et professionnel - la chambre de taille correcte - propre et agréable - et vue sur les tours de la cathédrale - bonne literie - un plus : une bouilloire avec café / thé et sucre - salle de bain de bonne taille et douche assez grande - bon 2 étoiles - et dans le centre de ROUEN à 2 pas de la Cathédrale et à 10 pas de la Seine -nous sommes déjà venus et revenons quand nous venons sur ROUEN - et prix intéressant - pdej : très copieux : pain choco-croissant- tartines - pain de mie à toaster - oeuf - gâteau au chocolat et tarte aux abricots ( assez rare ) boisson chaude à volonté - jus de fruits : orange ou raisin ou pomme - céréales - et fruits frais : abricots - tranches d'orange - dans une petite salle bien lumineuse - avec vue sur la petite place du Gaillardbois -

PPengguna TetamuNo instructions on how to navigate/ find the car park which is hidden underneath the shopping centre. Hotel is very old and is in dire need of some renovation especially the bathrooms and internal corridors. They show photos of the reception area and bed area that somehow make it appear to be nicer/newer hotel. There are plenty of other places to stay in Rouen that are in much better area as this felt very undesirable when stepping out

I spent 3 1/2 weeks staying in this hotel in France with my choir in January 2023. The slidey toilet doors were frustrating, there was an extremely large amount of mould (of which only a very small amount was dealt with), the key cards had an annoying habit of randomly cancelling, the shower took forever to warm up, and the receptionists could range from bored and curt, to really friendly. However, the breakfast was big and filling, the old, small lift was charming, and it was nicely located. Although I probably woudn't stay there again, the hotel was perfectly adequate for my time in France.
