The Originals Access, Hôtel Corinna, Royan

We only stayed for 1 night while doing the Velodysee. Not so far away from the ferry at Royan. Also not so fra away from all restaurats. Very friendly couple, Secure parking for bike and car. Very nice rooms. Breakfast could be better.

I rarely am deceived as I usually expect nothing, especially when opting for a lower budget hotel without AC. BUT... If you then realize that the bed for 2 is barely 120 cm wide, the bathroom has neither a window to be opened nor a working exhaust vent, etc. etc. sleepless nights are programmed. The owner probably saw our disappointment and talked to us the first morning: At first he seemed genuinely interested asking what he could do to make our stay more comfortable. BUT... his main line of arguing (without us having requested anything at all nor sought a conversation in the first place) was that he has only a low budget hotel and suffers from other guests (apperantly in two other rooms the guests broke something in the bathroom). So our one and only request was me asking politely if it is possible to have a little fan. It was replied by a long explanation that he offers only low budget rooms and that for having an AC he would have to rent the rooms at a much higher rate. We didn't ask for AC, but a little fan. So I went to a store in town and got myself a fan for 35 EUR so we could at least fall asleep our other two nights.

Bon hôtel bien placé proche de la plage à pied, au calme l'accueil est sympathique et chaleureuse je recommande

Accueil sympathique; établissement en centre ville et de qualité pour des prix raisonnables. Chambres bien équipées ( certaines avec balcon ) et buffet de petit déjeuner copieux; en outre,une propreté tout à fait irréprochable et,en plus,un parking privé gratuit.
