This hotel needs a refurb! The pool area is awful. The pool is green, with dirty tiling and the jacuzzi frame is all broken ... and the jacuzzi water is actually cold! The ski / boot room does not have lockers, and everyones ski's and boots are just hung around around the room - someone mixed their ski's up with mine one morning! Also, the boot warming rack does not warm your boots properly, so the next day, they are still wet. Also, there is a mens toilet next to the boot room, and I was staggered at the pictures / posters that the staff have fixed to the walls ... See the photo's ... Families were staying at the hotel, and these pictures / posters had the F - word all over them ... they make the hotel feel cheap and are inappropriate for any hotel, never mind a supposed 4 star. In general, this hotel is a 3 star at best, it's DEFINITELY not a 4 star hotel by any imagination! There are a lot better hotels in Saalbach than the Saalbacher Hof!

The Saalbacher Hof was a beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff from arrival till departure. Our room (standard double) was a good size with ample storage, especially when considering the amount of kit on a ski trip. The room was immaculately clean on arrival, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. We were half-board. Breakfast was a buffet that covered all options you could imagine: cereals, cooked items, breads, fresh fruit, meat and cheese. Excellent selection of hot drinks available and hot egg dishes (omelettes, scrambled egg ect) were cooked to order. Dinner was a 5 course masterpiece, excellent flavour and presentation with options for everyone. The pool and spa area were perfect after a day on the slopes, the sauna especially welcome on tired muscles. There was also a reading room with comfy seats for those wanting to relax in that way. The ski and boot room was big with plenty of space for everyone’s kit with its own dedicated entrance from the road. Would highly recommend staying here and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Saalbach.

Third visit to this amazing Hotel in the heart of Saalbach. First class service, friendly staff and central location makes this my first choice Hotel when visiting Saalbach. You are within minutes of 3 Lift systems that quickly transport you to the top of Saalbach from where you can access a wide variety of slopes at your mercy.

Excellent hotel from reception to chambermaid. Isabella and SBH crew always go extra mile to ensure you have a good holiday Food is exceptional and presentation first class 6 course evening meals are amazing. Stayed 2 weeks and no repetition. There was alays a vegetarian option. Breakfast was great and spoilt for choice. Facilities and rooms first class Wonderful pools an garden Cannot wait to return, this was our fifth visit

Lovely hotel perfect spa facilities. Room a great size , beds so comfy couldn’t fault the room and facilities! Would certainly stay here again during the summer. Staff at reception were very friendly especially as were the staff in the Wirtshaus.
