Hotel Melibea by Gaiarooms

Travelling north and stayed one night to see Salamanca. Fabulous location inside the old city. Parking one minute walk away for €15. Fabulous restaurants, plaza major and shopping only two minutes walk. Contemporary hotel with comfortable bed and all amenities. Breakfast served. Good choice. Automated check in is easy though help is available. Overall very nice modern comfortable stay. Great value.

Nice hotel but had trouble getting into room with key pass. this happened repeatably. Shower base fall meant water kept running into bathroom. This can be fitted by running a ***** along edge of base. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

The hotel and service were excellent. I arrived from Madrid on the Avanza coach the hotel was an 18mins walk. The location of the hotel is in between the Plaza and Gran Via. A great location and in the hub of depending what is your preference - local experience, tourist hotspots, old town and great restaurant and bars. I had an issue with the air conditioner on arrival and the staff were available to solve the issue immediately. Although reception service is from 3pm - 10pm. You can check-in online so you are not waiting around at reception and on check-out you can leave your bags safely there. The room was large and had a fairly large terrace, great natural light, view of the old cathedral and good internet connection. All staff speak several languages and are super professional and helpful.

Great Location and service

Had a very comforting stay in Melibea Hotel. The hotel is very convenient if you come by car as you can easily park the car in front to unload the bags and then you can try to find a free parking place around 5-7 minutes walking (as it's paid everywhere on the historical center). The hotel is very technological and you can check in and open your doors via smartphone. The rooms are big and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom is small but very practical. Best is the location, perfectly situated to explore the center walking. Would definitely go back.

Very cool hotel with big rooms and outside space. Staff are very charming and helpful. We had a little trouble with our air con they straight away gave us another room. Very clean and quiet for those who enjoy calm nights. Location is great next to the university and the Cathedral. I highly recommen this hotel.

El hotel es un cuatro estrellas, pero no tiene nada que ver con lo que es un cuatro estrellas tradicional. El mobiliario es escaso y muy básico, no hay armario, ni tampoco cortinas, solo unas sobreventanas de madera, si no quieres que te vean tampoco tienes luz natural. Viendo el precio y la descripción del hotel, es lo esperado. El problema es que la tecnología que venden tampoco funciona, más allá del checking desde el móvil y las cerraduras por QR, y además la atención al cliente es inexistente. La primera noche nos dimos cuenta de que el pestillo interior de la puerta no funcionaba. Escribí un correo (no hay recepción) y me dijeron que el día siguiente se pasarían de mantenimiento a revisarlo. Nunca lo arreglaron. Además el termostato tampoco funcionaba, al llegar habia 23 grados, como es muchísimo para dormir lo bajé a 19. Tras más de 24 horas seguiamos a 23 grados, así que optamos por apagarlo y abrir la ventana. La SmartTV tampoco funciona bien, tras media docena de intentos conseguí vincular mi móvil, pero la conexión era tan mala que la imagen se congelaba constantemente. Les volví a escribir a ver que pasaba con el pestillo y comentarles el resto de cosas, jamás contestaron. La experiencia en general fue mala y respecto a la atención al cliente pésima. Nada mx

Hotel situado en muy buena zona con una relación precio calidad excelente. Habitación limpia y con todo lo que necesitas sin grandes lujos, un pequeño olor a cloaca al entrar, ,pero en cuanto corre el agua se va

El Hotel está ubicado en una buena zona de Salamanca, habitación acorde a cuatro estrellas la cama bastante cómoda y el baño bastante limpio. El único problema es que no existe el recepcionista te tienes que registrar en una pantalla que hay cuando entras, y en la habitación con el código QR ,hecho en falta que haya algún tipo de recepcionista
