This hotel is good and has a very good buffet breakfast and I also enjoyed the evening buffet there. However, the beach which the hotel overlooks is difficult to access and also has a large building site next to it. The wifi is shocking and it is almost an exaggeration to say that it exists. In the rooms it keeps cutting out and in the restaurant it is not available at all in some parts

Fantastic stay! The hotel is beautiful. It is right on the top of the hill of Rio Vermelho and it offers a free service from the hotel to the main street and the other way around. When we arrived we found very nice receptionists. We were initially given an accessible room, we requested to change it as we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. One evening the hotel staff treated us with strawberries, chocolate and 2 brigadeiros ＜3 The room was very nice and clean, with all the comforts. The breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't very good. The quality was poor. The positive thing is that we could order omelettes and tapiocas cooked at the moment. All the staff very nice and friendly. Definitely recommended! :)

This is basically a convention hotel surrounded by medical practices not far from a dirty beach and away from ALL major attractions in the city - in theory and in practice, not the best choice for tourists in Salvador or those visiting it for the first time, it's a fact. No wonder it is often busy with congress members, groups from other states or patients from the hospitals and clinics nearby. That being said, it is not a bad hotel at all, though some update and renovation is urgently needed. Staff is most kind and friendly, be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant. Rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is assorted, parking is available at a (high) fee. TV has tons of channels, internet works really great, the pool is not to be missed. This was my third time in the hotel and each had a fulfilled purpose. Just make sure it is the right choice to meet your purpose.

For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as ”an apartment” when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

Primeira e última experiência de hospedagem no hotel. Cheguei cansada da viagem e a região estava com problema de energia elétrica há mais de um dia, segundo uma informação passada por um funcionário(a). Além do calor enorme, os aparelhos do ar condicionado não funcionavam, TVs fora do ar, lâmpadas piscando o tempo todo, ou seja, um problema que o hotel vem se arrastando por muito tempo, e não foi a primeira vez, preferem perder equipamentos queimados, ”jogam” comidas fora por descongelamento, não preocupam com hóspedes que chegam exaustos da viagem, do que adquirir gerador de energia. Muito triste. E com esse dia exaustivo, você escutar uma funcionária da recepção, trocando o turno com outro colega de trabalho e dizendo em voz alta para não contar com ela pra nada que ela será desprezível...Gente do céu, precisa-se de um treinamento, saber agir e se comportar mediante aos que estão lá, pois a funcionária representa o hotel e o hóspede que está lá, ouvir isso, é extremamente desagradável. Nossa, foram dias de muito cansaço e decepção, além da praia à frente, que NÃO É ITAPUÃ, e sim, Praia do Sal, que um surfista e um ”salva-vidas” não permitiu a minha entrada no mar por ser extremamente perigoso. Muitos já morreram lá esse ano 2024, hennn...Não vale a pena, pessoal, de verdade. Escrevi todo esse relato para ajudar a vocês, para não perderam viagem e não terem dor de cabeça.

Bem, já ficamos anteriormente nesse hotel. É um ótimo local para quem vai com crianças… têm recreação, ótimo café da manhã e limpeza e atendimento satisfatório. Porém, quando estávamos fazendo o checkin a moça da recepção informou que fizemos a reserva apenas para um casal e que as crianças não estavam incluídas… Não sei se o problema foi do hotel ou do TRIP pois, não deixa de evitar o constrangimento sendo que a reserva foi realizada com quantidade de hóspedes corretamente. O Wi-Fi deixa muiiiiiito a desejar… quase não funciona! Ah, o vaso sanitário do quarto (65) péssimo! Pra realizar as necessidades ficamos sentados e sem apoio, pois não sei que engenharia foi essa que ficamos sentados e de ponta de pé! Altíssimo e pia extremamente baixa… mas, no geral foi bom e voltaria…

PPengguna TetamuThe most charming boutique hotel in the heart of Pelourinho! Both the room and bathroom were beautiful and spacious, with a mini fridge, safe (although ours was broken) and large cupboard. The rooms are named after Portuguese explorers rather than the more common room numbers, which was very fitting for the colonial style interiors of the hotel. Staff were so welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast is served at your table - tick sheet menu - and includes various cereals, drinks, bread, cakes as well as Bahian specialties. There is a small plunge pool, which we didn’t get a chance to use. We couldn’t have asked for a better location; we were able to walk through the historic centre, with both the funicular and elevator serving the lower city close by. Lots of eateries and fantastic musical entertainment right outside the hotel - music stops around 10-10.30pm. It is a short walk across the cobblestones to the main Pelourinho square, which pays homage to Michael Jackson who shot a music video there. A (steepish) walk past the church takes you to the rainbow street of San Antonio, with plenty more restaurant/bar options. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Check-in process smooth. The room was small and nothing exceptional. We had lunch at the hotel. The food was ok, however it is not possible to put lunch and or breakfast on the room. We had to pay straight away to the waiter. At mornings, before breakfast, the hotel wasn't very organised. We had to queue and wait for whoever didn't have it included and so on. The quality wasn't good. Unfortunately I would not recommend it.

PPengguna TetamuO hotel é bem legal e com uma vista fantástica. O rooftop é maravilhoso, tem uma vista incrível, ambiente super agradável, atendimento do bar é muito bom. Passamos o dia todo pegando sol, banho de piscina, drinks espetaculares, recomendamos o ”Maria Quitéria”. O quarto é bastante amplo, limpo, com ar condicionado, frigobar, mesa para trabalho. Banheiro também amplo, só a água do chuveiro que poderia ser bem mais quente. O serviço de quarto do restaurante é muito bom e rápido. Café da manhã bem variado e ambiente aconchegante. A localização do hotel é muito boa, fica ao lado do Shopping Salvador, nem cinco minutos a pé. Tem estacionamento, R$ 12,00 a diária. O atendimento da recepção é ótimo, colaboradores simpáticos e atenciosos. Ficamos hospedados cinco noites no quarto com vista para o mar no 23º andar. Foi uma estadia muito boa, recomendamos!

RRadomskyyOutstanding service by the people who’s working here. They’re made sure I’m aware and familiar with everything at the hotel and showed real care about my well-being. Hotel location just across the beach and even some people saying it’s not good beach I’ve have a good time. There is everything you need around the hotel, supermarkets, small shops, pharmacies etc. Uber easy take you to main tourist attraction within 20 min ride and it’s cheap. Breakfast is like in most hotels whoever very good quality and presentation. Really happy with stay. Highly recommended.

* good breakfast opening at 6:30am sharp (doors are locked before then), with lactose-free milk and gluten-free options
* okay pool area (no greenery though)
Cons:
* the A/C was weak, but after running it for one day the room was sufficiently cool (you do need a card in the slot during that day...)
* no ”Do not disturb” sign to hang onto the doorknob
* the desk in the room was small and very annoying for laptop work (round, glass)
* the chairs in the room were not comfortable at all
* out of all the staff, only one front desk person spoke English
* no laundry facilities
* no business room
* old slow elevator
* window didn't insulate from the street noise that well, but I used 33 dB NRR earplugs to block the noise that came through; there are also many rooms that don't face the street
* the front gate didn't open automatically with my key; had to wait for staff to open it; other times it was left open

EEliomarO hotel fica muito bem localizado, perto da praia, supermercado e restaurantes. O café da manhã é bastante farto, com frutas, pães, sucos, iogurtes...
Visitei este local a passeio com meu filho e minha esposa. O quarto em que ficamos havia uma cama de casal, uma cama de solteiro que estava muito bamba, ar-condicionado e um frigobar. A limpeza do quarto deixou a desejar, haviam muitas baratinhas, mas nada que estragasse o momento em família.
Aproveitamos o dia para nos divertir na piscina do hotel.
