Hotel berhampiran Museum of Cocoa, Salvador

Hotel com excelente localização, café da manhã muito bom e um ótimo atendimento da recepção e funcionários em geral. Porém a limpeza e higienização deixam muito a desejar. Passei dois dias solicitando toalhas que não estavam no quarto desde que cheguei e pra piorar a faxineira deixou pano de chão sujo dentro da pia do banheiro!

os quartos do hotel não são muito bom, café da manhã , precisa melhorar muito, pouca opção de alimento só tinha bolo na mesa. atendimento das recepcionista muito bom, porém as da cozinha tudo de cara feia, no café da manhã comi um mamão que parecia estar estragado, vomitei na hora...

Very cozy and friendly hotel atmosphere..Service was professional, friendly and caring for all our needs. Travelled wih my husband on vacation. Room was cleanned everyday, room service was attentive to our requests, only the cleanliness of bathroom lacked attention. Air conditioning, being a beach front summer hotel, worked perfectly. Some of the employees went above and beyond their duties to help our staying feel like home. Mauricio at the poolbar and Gabriel - great friendly delicious tropical cocktails served. Carlos Jose at the main Hotel Restaurant did a fantastic job with a smile always. Barbara at the restaurante was exceptional. The receptionists always had a genuine friendliness way to make us happy to be back with a smile and what can we do for your staying be perfect? Trully we enjoyed once again be the guest at the facility. Will be back!

Check-in process smooth. The room was small and nothing exceptional. We had lunch at the hotel. The food was ok, however it is not possible to put lunch and or breakfast on the room. We had to pay straight away to the waiter. At mornings, before breakfast, the hotel wasn't very organised. We had to queue and wait for whoever didn't have it included and so on. The quality wasn't good. Unfortunately I would not recommend it.

Fui para dormir tranquilo, ficaria só uma noite. Fiquei num quarto superior, no andar 21. No dia seguinte para descer para o café da manhã descobri que o 4 elevadores estavam parados devido a ruptura de um cano. ok que acidentes acontecem e aí nao tinha muito o que fazer, mas acho que faltou um pouco de gerenciamento de crisa por parte dos funcionários que nao tiveram muito tato para tratar da situação tão constrangedora. tive que descer e subir os 21 andares pelas escadas. tinha pago a estadia parte em pontos e parte em dinheiro. e muito gentilmente a parte em dinheiro me foi devolvida, mas de qquer forma eu acho que falta um melhor gerenciamento de risco e de crise em situações como essa. Uma pena, pq Mercure sempre é uma estadia que gosto.

For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as ”an apartment” when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

Três dias de agradáveis confraternizações com amigos,parentes e funcionários deste estabelecimento. Café da manhã maravilhoso e atendentes simpatississimas ,de uma alegria incomparável. Amei a experiência que vivi nestes dias. Deus abençoe a todos.

The Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. Primeira e última experiência de hospedagem no hotel. Cheguei cansada da viagem e a região estava com problema de energia elétrica há mais de um dia, segundo uma informação passada por um funcionário(a). Além do calor enorme, os aparelhos do ar condicionado não funcionavam, TVs fora do ar, lâmpadas piscando o tempo todo, ou seja, um problema que o hotel vem se arrastando por muito tempo, e não foi a primeira vez, preferem perder equipamentos queimados, ”jogam” comidas fora por descongelamento, não preocupam com hóspedes que chegam exaustos da viagem, do que adquirir gerador de energia. Muito triste. E com esse dia exaustivo, você escutar uma funcionária da recepção, trocando o turno com outro colega de trabalho e dizendo em voz alta para não contar com ela pra nada que ela será desprezível...Gente do céu, precisa-se de um treinamento, saber agir e se comportar mediante aos que estão lá, pois a funcionária representa o hotel e o hóspede que está lá, ouvir isso, é extremamente desagradável. Nossa, foram dias de muito cansaço e decepção, além da praia à frente, que NÃO É ITAPUÃ, e sim, Praia do Sal, que um surfista e um ”salva-vidas” não permitiu a minha entrada no mar por ser extremamente perigoso. Muitos já morreram lá esse ano 2024, hennn...Não vale a pena, pessoal, de verdade. Escrevi todo esse relato para ajudar a vocês, para não perderam viagem e não terem dor de cabeça.

A respeito da recepção pos 23 horas. Atendimento de um só recepcionista, muito devagar. Sugestão: se o check in foi feito com um QR Code confirma a entrada e só se entrega a chave ou ela já esteja disponível em um balcão ou armário com chave.
