É um pecado um hotel com uma localização maravilhosa daquela está jogado as traças como está o Mar Hotel😒 funcionários muito legais e solícitos, o hotel em si é aconchegante e agradável, porém sem manutenção alguma: Dec da piscina feio e desgastado, descarga do banheiro com defeito, hora enche, hora não enche, paredes dos corredores e dos quartos caindo os pedaço, plantas da entrada do hotel morrendo e mal tratadas, lâmpadas dos quartos com os lustres arrancados, papel higiênico de folhas simples, fiquei 3 dias no hotel e não tive troca de toalhas, café gostoso porém muitooo fraco, opções quase nenhuma, espreguiçadeira da piscina apenas UMA existente e ainda quebrada que belisca as nádegas qdo senta, apenas uma mesa também na área da piscina a ser disputada pelos hóspedes, porém a piscina é bem gostosinha e a área é maravilhosa, com uma vista linda para a praia, muito gostosa para tomar um solzinho e bater um papo no final da tarde, a cadeira do lobby que parece descartável de muita má qualidade que é, e ainda me derrubou pq fui me encostar no recosto e ela como parece ser de papel eu cai e me machuquei. Enfim como falei no início, o hotel tem tudo para ser excelente só não é pq o seu dono ou administrador não quer. Mais com tudo isso, fui feliz na minha hospedagem sim, pq eu aproveitei o que consegui achar de melhor por lá. 🥰

Gostei da estadia porém tive que trocar de quarto pois havia pedido cama de casal e me colocaram em um quarto com camas de solteiro além de ter uma porta no quarto (trancada) que dava acesso para outro quarto que dava pra escutar tudo que outros hóspedes conversavam, não tinham toalhas no quarto e o chuveiro não estava esquentando, o café da manhã é agradável e a recepcionista solicita.

Excelente hotel, porém o serviço péssimo. No café da manhã você mesmo tem que ficar limpando mesa pra sentar e ir atrás de talher, não tem funcionários suficientes. Tudo é demorado. Nenhum dia consegui comer a tapioca ou omelete que pedi, demorou certamente mais de 45 minutos e desisti. O check out hoje foi uma epopeia. Recepção demoradissima!

The Fasano is located next to the Pelourinho, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This means you can walk to the main sights easily. Old building, nicely renovated, now in modern style. Rooms tend to be on the small side, but are nice and have all you need. Nice rooftop pool with small bar, great views. Breakfast is very good, good choice and good quality. Lunch is ok, but nothing special. Most staff members are very friendly, they try their best to accommodate your needs. Yes there are some hiccups in the service, things got forgotten etc, but as they are very friendly you can live with it. Probably one of the better Fasanos, compared to others, here the staff pay more attention to details and are more client focused. I can recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Salvador, probably the best option in town. I would like to thank Janine, Maria and all other staff members who did their best to make my stay a very nice one.

For the price paid, the value is exceptional. The location is safe, 5 metres from the beach (about as close as a hotel can get) and a few minutes walk from supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. The breakfast as is always the case with Rede Andrade hotels is varied and sizable. This hotel branch is much nicer than two others I stayed at in Salvador with a comfortable lobby area and outside seating courtyard. Though my room was misrepresented as ”an apartment” when it is a normal room, I was fine with it given the low price paid. I had a sea view and the room contained the necessary features, i.e. fridge, TV, hot shower, ac, and towels/soaps. The WiFi was terrible though with no signal at all in the room. Aside from the latter, everything was great as were the staff. Would recommend 100%

Pros: good location, if you looking for beaches without crowds. Relatively close to mais attraction, however Uber super affordable. People friendly and welcoming. Close some grocery and market shops, few places to eat out. Rooftop swimming pool view.
Cons: hotel is crying for refurb, not every room has safe box, when requested they never brought, main door, lift is disaster specially when hotel crowded you need to wait ages, bed, mattress, pillows need to be changed, no drinks in fridge, however I was asked at check out if I consumed something. Breakfast on top floor and small space for amount of people. No hangers in wardrobe.

This is basically a convention hotel surrounded by medical practices not far from a dirty beach and away from ALL major attractions in the city - in theory and in practice, not the best choice for tourists in Salvador or those visiting it for the first time, it's a fact. No wonder it is often busy with congress members, groups from other states or patients from the hospitals and clinics nearby. That being said, it is not a bad hotel at all, though some update and renovation is urgently needed. Staff is most kind and friendly, be it reception, housekeeping or restaurant. Rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is assorted, parking is available at a (high) fee. TV has tons of channels, internet works really great, the pool is not to be missed. This was my third time in the hotel and each had a fulfilled purpose. Just make sure it is the right choice to meet your purpose.

We come from Germany and this hotel was recommended to me in advance by friends. And it is really great! We also recommend it very much! The quiet location directly on the beautiful beach is paradise! The owner welcomed us very warmly and always took time for a nice chat with us and had helpful travel tips. The service is great, the staff very friendly and the food excellent! The incredibly varied breakfast is prepared with love and offers every day different delicious highlights. The hotel is the perfect place to relax by the pool or sea and really enjoy yourself! We will definitely like to come back!

What a wonderful hotel! It’s quite simply beautiful! Although extremely comfortable, there’s an authenticity to the property that more “luxurious” and more expensive nearby hotels lack. I was especially fortunate in that I was given what I understand was the best room in the property, but I was told that all rooms will be updated. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable and the shower huge. The front-facing view onto the square and church and convent was amazing. The pool is tiny, but fine if no one else is using it. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all superb. All my contacts – such as the lovely women who serve breakfast and prepare the guest rooms and the helpful accounts manager were tremendous. I would especially praise Javier at the reception. Apart from being extremely interesting, was cheerful, efficient and provided useful information about the hotel and Salvador. The one problem is that of local dining possibilities. The area is very quiet at night and getting to good restaurants involves either a somewhat uneasy walk or a taxi/Uber ride.

The Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. Check-in process smooth. The room was small and nothing exceptional. We had lunch at the hotel. The food was ok, however it is not possible to put lunch and or breakfast on the room. We had to pay straight away to the waiter. At mornings, before breakfast, the hotel wasn't very organised. We had to queue and wait for whoever didn't have it included and so on. The quality wasn't good. Unfortunately I would not recommend it.

AAlle_KayFantastic stay! The hotel is beautiful. It is right on the top of the hill of Rio Vermelho and it offers a free service from the hotel to the main street and the other way around. When we arrived we found very nice receptionists. We were initially given an accessible room, we requested to change it as we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. One evening the hotel staff treated us with strawberries, chocolate and 2 brigadeiros ＜3 The room was very nice and clean, with all the comforts. The breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't very good. The quality was poor. The positive thing is that we could order omelettes and tapiocas cooked at the moment. All the staff very nice and friendly. Definitely recommended! :)

PPengguna TetamuBem, já ficamos anteriormente nesse hotel. É um ótimo local para quem vai com crianças… têm recreação, ótimo café da manhã e limpeza e atendimento satisfatório. Porém, quando estávamos fazendo o checkin a moça da recepção informou que fizemos a reserva apenas para um casal e que as crianças não estavam incluídas… Não sei se o problema foi do hotel ou do TRIP pois, não deixa de evitar o constrangimento sendo que a reserva foi realizada com quantidade de hóspedes corretamente. O Wi-Fi deixa muiiiiiito a desejar… quase não funciona! Ah, o vaso sanitário do quarto (65) péssimo! Pra realizar as necessidades ficamos sentados e sem apoio, pois não sei que engenharia foi essa que ficamos sentados e de ponta de pé! Altíssimo e pia extremamente baixa… mas, no geral foi bom e voltaria…

We were staying over night in the purpose of sleep before the travel to lencois. The hotel was perfect for that. Really good value for money. Nice and clean room. Used the room service to order dinner which was really good. And the hotel was really closed to the bus terminal. Staff in check in talked English and in check out not really good English.

* okay pool area (no greenery though)
Cons:
* the A/C was weak, but after running it for one day the room was sufficiently cool (you do need a card in the slot during that day...)
* no ”Do not disturb” sign to hang onto the doorknob
* the desk in the room was small and very annoying for laptop work (round, glass)
* the chairs in the room were not comfortable at all
* out of all the staff, only one front desk person spoke English
* no laundry facilities
* no business room
* old slow elevator
* window didn't insulate from the street noise that well, but I used 33 dB NRR earplugs to block the noise that came through; there are also many rooms that don't face the street
* the front gate didn't open automatically with my key; had to wait for staff to open it; other times it was left open

RRadomskyyOutstanding service by the people who’s working here. They’re made sure I’m aware and familiar with everything at the hotel and showed real care about my well-being. Hotel location just across the beach and even some people saying it’s not good beach I’ve have a good time. There is everything you need around the hotel, supermarkets, small shops, pharmacies etc. Uber easy take you to main tourist attraction within 20 min ride and it’s cheap. Breakfast is like in most hotels whoever very good quality and presentation. Really happy with stay. Highly recommended.

PPengguna TetamuO Aquarena Hotel é um hotel numa zona bem movimentada, fica de frente para uma avenida e por isso o barulho dos carros pode ser um incômodo. o check in foi demorado e confuso, já havia realizado o pagamento de 50% e mesmo assim fui cobrado novamente, sendo necessário reenviar o comprovante para sanar essa pendenga que deveria estar num sistema do hotel. Ainda, alguns quartos não tem frigobar, mas o hotel vende água e refrigerante na recepção, o detalhe fica para o pagamento, tem que ser imediatamente não sendo possível colocar na conta do quarto, ou você tem como pagar imediatamente ou não leva. A chegada ao hotel é fácil, fica perto da Fonte Nova, o gps não teve problemas para encontrar. O quarto é bem pequeno, o banheiro idem, uma pessoa maior passaria bastante aperto. O café da manhã é bem modesto, o ponto forte fica por conta da tapioca feita na hora. No mais, o hotel possui um bom custo benefício mas não é um dos melhores.
