Our stay at Pearl Farm Beach Resort exceeded every expectation we had. We truly felt like we were in paradise, the resort is breathtaking beyond what the photos can convey. There were so many activities available at almost at any time - including snorkelling, jet-skiing , kayaking, massages etc and the staff are always accomodating and helpful. We stayed in a Samal overlooking incredible views of the ocean and Mt Apo on a clear day, the rooms were perfectly sized and clean, we loved falling asleep to the ocean and waking up to feed fish from our balcony. The best part of this whole experience however, has to be the staff. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile, were always so friendly and up to help - I got an allergic reaction during my stay, and the on-site nurse - Eduardo kindly spent the entire week ensuring I was taken care of. We are touched by the generosity of the staff at Pearl Farm Beach Resort and would be delighted to come back again in the future with our friends and family. Discovery Samal Resort exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The resort's stunning location, nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking crystal-clear waters, provided the perfect backdrop for a truly relaxing getaway. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the variety of activities offered, from snorkeling and kayaking to indulging in rejuvenating spa treatments. The dining options were equally impressive, with a diverse selection of delicious dishes that catered to every palate. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience, always attentive to our needs and eager to assist with any requests. Overall, Discovery Samal Resort is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in paradise. Four stars well deserved!

The initial welcome was very good for a hotel of this kind. The room was okay although a coat of paint would make it more pleasing than scuff marks everywhere. The lighting was stark - recessed bright bulbs do not give the right ambiance when no dimming. There is a lack of reading lamps above the bed (yes people do still read). The aircon unit was very noisy at night - this appears to be dependant on the make. Although we were out for a whole day on our return the room had not been made up and tea/coffee went un- replenished. Given the market this hotel is aiming for this was a huge disappointment. The in house meals weee good but there is a lack of consistency with staff service which could be improved.

The rooms are clean, and the buffet breakfast, while having limited choices, is fulfilling and delicious. I'd love to stay there and wake up in a fresh environment. The securities and customer services are all kind and they are always priority their customers.

I am on my Vismin leg of trainings and Davao is my last for this week. Had a great, smooth time in Tacloban, Cebu, Bohol and this last seminar in this hotel have been very challenging so far. At the front desk, I requested for lower floor, which I normally do (due personal traumatic experience which I do not need to explain) and after a series of ”please” thank God, Kate of Front Desk stepped in and found us a room at 6th which will be ready only by 5pm. It was turned over around 6pm. In preparation for our Monday seminar, we coordinated with Rose of Banquet to ocular the place as we have a specific layout to follow that will be good for classroom set up, group dynamics and dining. When we arrived at Ruby function room, linen staff Cory was there arranging for our seminar on Monday so we rendered help in lay outing the tables and chairs, projector screen. When we had to coordinate with the technical, we requested an HDMI longer than 1 meter so laptop can rest on the tech table. Sure they have a longer one but with additional charge of P300/day. When I asked for wireless mic to be used since the activity will involve passing around of microphone among the participants, guess what? Yes, an additional P800/mic/day will be charged! So with the 3 days seminar and 1 week stay that we pre booked and paid , these little requests do not come free. I do not want to ruin my Davao stay because I am an avid fan of our former President Duterte and only have the highest respects for his place. I hope to find some pleasant things from this hotel for the remaining days of my stay here to compensate for the ugly start. Time to activate the Vision Mission which is in every room of the hotel and not just left on the brochure. A simple greeting, some genuine smiles mean a lot to every customer. So far the only staff who has a ready smile and genuinely asks how he can be of service is Jaypee, service crew of Cafe Frances. He takes time to talk with the customers and ask how they are doing and recommends the best dish. Food is great and reasonably priced -- large servings and delicious! As for the edifice, needs repairs and refurbs. We had to call in help for the A/C and busted light bulb.

It's nice that I found Hotel Galleria on Trip.Com. the discount is fantastic. This is the first time I took on reviews. Usually I do not give reviews but here in Hotel Galleria though it's old building but maintained well. God bless! Thank you so much!

When I was there together with my churchmates we're staying in D'Leonor Hotel for almost 1 week for our church activities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating who went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable and also have a good ambiance. Room with a majestic view, very clean and spacious. Great location which is situated at the heart of Davao. I highly recommend this hotel.
