It used to be a Comfort Inn that we have always stayed at for over 10 years but now a Best Western. Very nice upgrades, great and friendly staff, love the location, A good place to stay. Close to downtown, Old Town, Zoo, and 5 minutes to the beach and shopping and golf just 5 minutes away also.

Great value for a budget traveler. Older motel-style property, but well-maintained with modernized furnishings and bathrooms. Comfortable beds that compare with my more common Marriott stays.
I found my room lighting to be a bit disappointing (too dim), no breakfast option, but there are several nearby diners and a Vons supermarket are within 5 mins walking distance.
The location is not central to much unless there’s a sports event at the arena, but it’s easy to get places by Uber or a pretty decent mass transit network (if you have the time…. As it could double or triple your travel time) The MTS route 8 bus stops right out front. We went all the way to Torrey Pines Beach for $2.50 each way (bus 8 to Old Town, blue trolley toward UTC, then the 101 to Torrey Pines State Park for a hike with great views!). And, in only about 60-70 mins, and we’re able to fit in a trip to LaJolla cove on the way back.I

Very nice renovated room. Just had an issue with parking in hotel parking lot with an oversized vehicle. Luckily there was an ACE parking lot across the street from the hotel that was actually less expensive.

Location was excellent for concert at Petco Park, took Uber and obviously was longer due to concert influx realized take a lime lite would have been faster. Walking expect 25-30 min and going up hill.
Service was good at check -in , first night found roaches 🪳 under and around fridge area! Went to lobby for possible accommodations , encountered male fair skin and colored eyes, said they were from the weather (🙄) didn’t seem surprised to hear there were roaches in our room, asked if we can switch rooms- he said they were fully booked and didn’t have anything available which I didn’t even see him check. At this point couldn’t find room to check out for the weekend and left as is. Told cleaning lady that evening and she shared a roach spray to spray in infected area. We didn’t not feel comfortable in this environment and left our snacks and food in bags and placed luggage on our beds and desk to avoid roaches from getting in. Additionally had requested towels and when asked for 4 same lobbyist said 4 was pushing it and only handing two towels even though I had booked two double Queen rooms for 8 people!!
Second room has stains on bed sheets and pillows, unsure what exactly it was but looked like blood. Friend got rash on arm and suspected bed bugs, checked sheets and luckily didn’t find any.
Bathroom sink had broken handle that came off when lifted.
Breakfast was good- early hours 7:30-8:30 , doors closed by 8:25 and you cannot take food out. But decent has French toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal and juices.
Parking was small but have additional parking below , just have to walk around the corner.

Very old hotel with dated rooms. The rooms are not good. I had to shift three times, and the front office staff handled the passport carelessly. Won't stay in this property again as I was not impressed with the room quality. Housekeeping is only available every three days—no staff to help to shift the luggage from room to room when I was moved. I booked a bay view room with a balcony, but they provided the first room, which has smelly rooms and no working aircon. Moved to another room without a bay view and, after a night, moved to another room on the eighth floor with a semi-bay view and balcony. Honestly was not impressed with the experience. No free water in the room. Wifi was not the fast.

This was our third time staying here and I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Cindy at the front desk was amazing, Josh in Cay's Lounge was awesome and Tony at the pool could not have been nicer. This resort has everything, including a shuttle to take you into town whenever you want to go. Highly recommend this resort, will definitely be back.

PPengguna TetamuGreat location next to Little Italy and nice staff. Spent 3 nights here and would have preferred a room on the opposite of side of the Construction Zone which was running 24 hours as it was noisy. Close to waterfront certainly an easy walk. No Restaurant which we were not made aware of prior to booking and we were also not made aware of the huge Construction project going right next door to the Hotel. Limited supplies in the room also if they were not going to make up the room daily, we were expected to ask for what we needed replaced. Also I specifically phoned the Hotel prior to booking to see if there was an Airport Shuttle prior to booking and was told yes there is by their Head Office, only to find that there was not one once we arrived at the airport which was very frustrating. All in all the location and the friendly staff were great but the Hotel is not worth the money they are charging, not sure we would stay ehrea gain.

But not helpful customer service. We asked if they have worldcup from TV at the room or at the restaurant. they said no resulted we explored other options. And finally, we saw everyone at the breakfast restaurant were watching worldcup.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is the best hotel in the San Diego area that we have stayed in. You’re about a 5 minute drive to old town and 15 from downtown area and just steps from mission bay beach. Celebrated an anniversary here and the staff made it even more memorable. Arcelio took really good care of us. He let us check in early and got us a beautiful room ocean front and close to the pool/bar/restaurant. He even stepped off and gave a tour of the resort and invited us down for complimentary s’mores later in the evening . Katie concierge over heard our talk and invited me and my gf down for a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. The rooms were very nice . Included a table and a lounge type couch inside with a balcony over looking the water . Guests next to us enjoyed their private bonfires which we will definitely do our next stay. We ordered room service from the covewood restaurant and they did not disappoint. Try their pizzas ! Thank you Mission Bay Resort!

PPengguna TetamuAlways saw this hotel on previous trips to San Diego but never stayed here before. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in Old Town so you are surrounded with some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. Park the car ($17 night) and feast away. Onsite restaurant is The Tequila Factory. Good food and margaritas (the hotel gives you a voucher for a free drink worth about $9-10). Old Town Mexican Cafe (100 meters away) has the most amazing fish tacos on handmade tortillas (you can watch the tortilla production in the front window). The hotel is old (maybe a little dated in the room decor) but clean and well kept and it is a beautiful property with lots of courtyards and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and helpful. Old Town is easily accessible to both I5, I8 and hwy 163, close to the airport and around 10 miles to the beach (very easy to get there).

Great place right on Ocean Beach. The motel is fenced in and feels safe. My room was comfortable. For my first time solo travelling, safety and comfort was priority, and I felt totally secure here. I loved that I could watch the sunset until dark and still feel comfortable walking the short distance back to my room. I stayed in a single king room (bay view) and a double queen (bay view). There's natural wear and tear in the rooms and they're a bit outdated, but still perfect for me as I didn't spend much time in the hotel and am pretty low maintenance. My rooms and the pool were perfect for winding down after busy days. My only complaint is that I found it cold in my room and had the heat cranked up all night as the blankets were quite thin. The heater was pretty loud but I still slept really well. The staff was super friendly and stored my luggage for several hours after I checked out (I was flying home later that day) and in between my separate room bookings. They gave me recommendations for places to eat and seemed to love their jobs and care about my experience. Overall everything I needed!

PPengguna TetamuI had not such a real relaxing time.I had been put in a hall way where the noise of anything in this area that was or happen the go through was very loud and noises from all around me were heard, upstairs the people possibly on back of room people from side of me and even laundry.I had been woken up with real loud steeping and jumping from the second floor.Ive never experienced being caught in this from hotels I stay and it will be my last.I don't recommend you let the front people put you somewhere strange in the hotel ask for second floor.By the way I really stay on higher floors then second I don't know why I was fogged about the front desk person convincing me that the room was special.Oh I know because she said she upgraded me to a room with two beds,which I think I had already requested anyway I'll think twice about this place.But if I'm in dire straight I'll neen the second floor please.

HHelenaI have never encountered such an incompetent front desk person. She seemed very confused, as if it were her first day on the job and would consider placing her away from the customers to spare them. Firstly, my room did not have a heater. Rather than fix the situation by moving me to a room with a heater, I was told that I couldn't be moved because no one would be able to clean the room. What kind of an excuse is that?! Don't fix the heater and move someone else into the room so they can be uncomfortable on a 49 degree San Diego evening? That only sounds fabulous if I am having hot flashes, which I am not. I will say that the room was clean when I entered and want to give the room cleaning staff a shout out since they are truly doing their job.
How about fix the heater and you won't have to worry about moving someone into another room because heaters weren't fixed. When I pay for a room, I expect all features to be functional and am not really concerned about how you will clean the room when I depart from it. I really hope that management sees this and ensures that all elements in a room are working and teach their front desk staff to do better.

PPengguna TetamuKakitangannya mengagumkan, bukan yang terbaik dalam kebersihan kebanyakannya disebabkan oleh kelembapan berlebihan daripada pengudaraan yang lemah yang menyebabkan acuan di kawasan yang tidak dipertimbangkan oleh pengemasan. Linen kurang diingini.
Tetapi turun tangan kakitangan dan harga akan membuat anda mempertimbangkannya lagi dan lagi!
