Ulasan Heritage Inn San Diego

The hotel worked for a quick stay. The location was pretty good which maybe was the best aspect of the hotel. The rooms were a bit on the older side and when I initially walked in the room smelt a bit of cigarette smoke and mould. There was hot water in the bathroom pipe but tepid/luke warm water in the shower. Someone came to look at the shower and they said there was hot water though when I took a shower later in the evening, there was not hot water so that was a challenge. Overall, it's not somewhere I'd stay again but it served it's purpose as I had an extra day in the city and needed to find a place to stay on short notice.

The room was nice here but the man in the front didn’t know what he was doing and he didn’t advise me that he was gonna be charging $150 deposit he just charged it I would liked For him to have told me before he just took it

It was a great pleasure staying in this hotel. It was just the way I like CLEAN!! Not only the room but the outside and the pool and hot tub as well. The fact that I was able to sleep very comfortably and it was very quiet and peaceful, made my trip even better, and I can’t keep my experience just for myself, I am very sensitive to smells and this place was very pleasant to me because there was no bad smells specially the ugly old cigarette smoke smell. Definitely this place is in the top of my list for my future trips to San Diego. The staff were amazing very friendly and efficient. I had the pleasure to meet them I could see the nice and very organized team work that they have. They keep this place very well maintained and very clean; I want to thank everyone specially Don Abraham I regret not writing down the other ladies names, but they were all great. and the front desk staff also very nice and efficient on their part I felt very welcome. Thanks, Santiago, Damian and Rosa. Definitely I recommend this place for your trip. On my behalf I will see you again. 🥰

This is an awesome place to stay. The room had EVERTHING you want or need. Super clean, free secured parking and an incredible staff. Miguel the manager went overboard helping me recover $200. cash that fell from my pocket. He used his cameras to help find the money. This person, Miguel is extremely professional .. and a real nice guy too! Thank-you

Well, I gave it an extra star because there weren't any signs of bedbugs or roaches (at least that we saw). The location is right off the exit ramp so easy to get to (from one direction). Check in went ok. Office is old and a bit shabby but staff were fine. It's an old school walk-up (no elevator) outdoor hallway style. Rooms are adequately sized but furnishings are old, tired and showing wear. The carpet has definitely seen better days (during the mid-70s I'd guess). Persistent smell to the room, fortunately have have a very weak nose so it didn't bother me much, but that I could smell it at all is a bad sign. The pool/hot tub looked inviting, however "hot" tub is a misnomer here as it was maybe average heated pool temp at best, and the pool was colder still. The jets in the hot tub occasionally worked, slightly. Breakfast, no. Not so much. There's coffee, from 7am (office is locked until then) until it runs out (mid-morning or so). That's it. No in-room coffee, so you better make it down there if you want some. There are restaurant options nearby, mostly Mexican food. The beds are very firm, linens were clean and adequate. Fridge in the room was nice, and there's a microwave in the laundry room if you need.

The rooms clean. The staff friendly accommodating. I was there sat and sun and without me asking they cleaned and made up my bed Sunday while I was out. Wow. I was satisfied with price to value received. Would have like coffee and simple breakfast. It's a one person operation at other lodges. The managing couple were great, I got my deposit back not in 10 business days but 3 days. Thanks for making a new arrival to San Diego feel good. I stayed here for 9 nights, while going through a move. It was a stressful time for me, as moving tends to be. Thankfully, one thing I didn’t need to worry about was the hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating during my stay. I felt safe and well taken care of. Rosa, who works the front desk, was especially kind and hospitality. Whatever concern I had, she helped me find a solution. Rosa always reacted to my concerns with warmth and understanding. She even helped me identify a scammer when I was searching for apartments online. To me, Rosa is the embodiment of hospitality. I don’t typically leave a review (due to laziness or forgetfulness). This time, I felt it was important to do so. If you choose to stay at Heritage Inn San Diego (near the Sports Arena area), you’ll be in good hands. :)

Great hotel and great location. We stayed for a night and the rooms were spacious and clean including the bathroom. The price you can’t beat for the whole family. The staff were very friendly as well checking us in and out, Would definitely come back to stay !

First spoke over the phone and was super helpful...remained responsive through my 4-day stay...thx! I'm a local OB'er between apartments and stayed with you before...granted, it's not a 5 star hotel but it's clean and I feel safe...be well...peace out...

Rosa the receptionist at this location made me feel very welcomed, exceptional customer service! I had an enjoyable stay rooms were very cleaned and updated from the last time I had visited, definitely will be returning (: great location near beaches/downtown area
