We loved the overall ambience, the friendliness of the crew at the breakfast place, particularly JC who was attentive and engaging. However, the cleanliness of the room was abhorrent. On our first night, we found dirt, stains and what looked like dried poop on one of the 2 beds when we were able to tuck ourselves to bed, at past midnight. We had to call the night shift housekeeper to change. While he was apologetic about it, the hotel did nothing to check on is the next day. We expected the hotel to follow up on this but no one followed up with us at all despite us saying 5 nights with them. This isn’t how Marriott should be.

It used to be a Comfort Inn that we have always stayed at for over 10 years but now a Best Western. Very nice upgrades, great and friendly staff, love the location, A good place to stay. Close to downtown, Old Town, Zoo, and 5 minutes to the beach and shopping and golf just 5 minutes away also.

This is my 2nd stay here and I look forward to more quarterly stays. My boss has used this hotel for years and has passed the torch to me. Although it was only my 2nd stay, I had a greeting card with my name awaiting my check-in. The manager, Kay Butler, went above and beyond to thank me as an IHG member. I thought that was a nice and sweet gesture. Both times visiting I had different experiences ,as far as room type, both were nice. I was shocked at how “roomy” the rooms are (huge). I’m happy they provide necessary shower supplies in large quantity in each room so that I do not have to carry my own with me. I do not really use the amenities(pool,gym,laundry) but they are nice as well. Twice I’ve had the same gentleman check me in and he is such a pleasure(overnight guy… sorry I’m bad with names). He always puts a smile on my face even though I’m normally exhausted from the travels. The location is very good because it is surrounded with anything you may need. Coffee, food(plenty to choose from), sports bar, grocery story & pharmacy. I look forward to my next stay. Job well done everyone.

Super happy with my experience. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room was ultra clean. The staff was efficient and kind, even gave me a cookie. I didn’t come with a pet, but would definitely bring my dog with me in the future. Cheers!
