Hotel is historic but feels (and smells) stale. The rooms have been superficially touched up, but overall quality is not great. Windows look out onto a roof with trash and scaffolding (not sure this is actually very safe or secure as windows have no locks and are either painted shut to blocked on inside with wood blocks nailed into frame). The folks working here have been very nice and helpful and no complaints there. But the property itself is pretty disappointing.

連住了4天，總體還是非常滿意的。 首先是地點，離旁邊的聖地亞哥會展中心非常近，還可以從一樓直接去會展中心，7分鐘直達； 其次是環境，帶海景，一樓有兩個游泳池；從一樓出去，大概citywalk 兩公里，沿着海邊就可以走到勝利之吻標誌打卡地 酒店衞生/設施、服務都挺不錯，還有中文前台接待 唯一不足的地方：價格貴了

Ia lebih kurang $12-18, tetapi jika anda tidak mempunyai ramai keluarga, terdapat banyak kedai makan tengah hari di sekitar, jadi disyorkan untuk keluar dan makan. Sarapan pagi 30 dollar seorang, tapi dah bayar, tapi kat restoran breakfast harga makanan dalam lingkungan 10 dollar, so boleh order satu persatu. We recently had a 9 night stay here in a king studio. For a first time stay in San Diego, without a car, the location was excellent. We were within 15 mins walk of a number of interesting places to visit (e.g Seaport Village in one direction and Little Italy in the other) with USS Midway right across the street. Also more than enough restaurants within walking distance. Other places were easily reached on the trolley or by Uber. The room was very good. Fully equipped kitchen, including pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The hotel even provided a small bottle of washing up liquid, a scourer and a couple of dishwasher tablets - this was all replenished every 4 days. There were plenty of sockets, including usb points. Housekeeping was every 2 days and always turned up. The only 2 points some people may find to be slightly negative is that there was no safe in the room and the bathroom door was a sliding door which, when closed, had a bit of a gap round it. We used the pool a few times - plenty of towels and some beds in the shade. We also used the hotel laundry. This had lots of machines and just needed a credit card to operate. I think I saw a note to say that detergents could be purchased at reception although I had already picked up some travel sizes in Target. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate. Also nice to have some tables outside. Overall we had a brilliant stay and are hoping to go back next year when we come off a cruise (just across the street so no Uber required).

This was a fantastic location on the water front with several restaurants within walking distance. It was clean and very well maintained and the staff was very helpful. A spacious bathroom with all the needed things and very comfortable beds. Wish it had been warmer so I could have used their beautiful pool and more time to enjoy the workout area. Used the shuttle service to get to the airport

Loved this place. Great location. We were able to walk around the bay. Great room on the 7th floor with a view of the Bay. Watched 3 cruise ships come and go. Super comfy bed, nice water pressure in the shower. Staff were so friendly and breakfast was delicious and abundant. The Sky Bar is a great setting but the food was definitely below standard, especially for the price. My only other comment is how strange that none of the windows are tinted. There's zero privacy. People from the street can clearly see you. But we loved our stay, felt we got great value and strongly recommend it!

Great location next to Little Italy and nice staff. Spent 3 nights here and would have preferred a room on the opposite of side of the Construction Zone which was running 24 hours as it was noisy. Close to waterfront certainly an easy walk. No Restaurant which we were not made aware of prior to booking and we were also not made aware of the huge Construction project going right next door to the Hotel. Limited supplies in the room also if they were not going to make up the room daily, we were expected to ask for what we needed replaced. Also I specifically phoned the Hotel prior to booking to see if there was an Airport Shuttle prior to booking and was told yes there is by their Head Office, only to find that there was not one once we arrived at the airport which was very frustrating. All in all the location and the friendly staff were great but the Hotel is not worth the money they are charging, not sure we would stay ehrea gain.

Convenience location at downtown, close to airport and gaslamp quarter. Well maintained room and nice to us. Provided free breakfast, more options than expected But not helpful customer service. We asked if they have worldcup from TV at the room or at the restaurant. they said no resulted we explored other options. And finally, we saw everyone at the breakfast restaurant were watching worldcup.

I am not expecting the Breakfast is like a fast food store / Grap & Go as the name of the hotel name Suites. This is out of my personal expectation and I don't know why they have charged each night for USD 25. I paid all the tax and service charge on Trip.com and they come out 1 charge is city tax. I was asking them what is that and the front desk said it is a kind of city tax but you can go to the snack shop ( i can't remember what they call) and buy something, they can deduct this invoice, I do not have to paid. At Last, my response is: I don't need anything from that shop, the front desk replied: Oh!

Clean, comfortable and affordable. The location was excellent! Little Italy, easy walk to the trolley. Safe and clean area. In an area with great bus service, too. Staff were welcoming, friendly and funny. The common room had a nice pool table, some games and books and two comfy sofas. There is a wonderful outdoor space as well. Washer/dryer available (coin op). Very nice bunks with black out curtains, a cubby to store things, a lamp and both USB and electrical outlet charging. In the room, there are large underbed storage units that can be locked with a padlock. I would advise against using these, as it can be inconvenient for your roommates (a little loud and they take up the entire floorspace when pulled out). There are other lockers in the hall and I would recommend using them instead to avoid bothering your bunkmates. Bathrooms were a little worse for wear but were clean. Bedding is provided. Towels are provided for free (but are first come first serve). No wash clothes or toiletries are provided (some hostels do this, some do not). Kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. Really happy with my stay! Guests were off all ages, which was nice because, at 45, I often feel out of place being the oldest person in a hostel. This (thankfully) was not a ”party” hostel. Guests were fun and friendly but were not loud or rowdy.

We went for a graduation. Enjoyed exploring Little Italy, Walked to the Midway and Seaport Village, short drive to Balboa Park. My only complaint is that the garage is very narrow and difficult to make the turn to exit. Every time we took the car out it was hair-raising. Breakfast in the hotel was quite good and the help were super friendly. Many delicious restaurants in easy walking distance.
