FFrench DudeI recently stayed at the Galleria Park Hotel during my business trip to San Francisco and here are my thoughts:
Location:
The location of the hotel is quite good. Although the area is quiet at night, there are many places to visit during the day. The neighborhood is very central, not far from Chinatown, just a 15-minute walk away.
Security:
The security at the hotel is excellent. It is very secure and they do not let just anyone enter.
Credit Card Policy:
A major downside, not directly related to the hotel itself, is the strict credit card policy. Even though I paid everything online, presenting a credit card at check-in is mandatory. Without it, you might end up sleeping outside. Additionally, at check-out, there's an unexpected mandatory state tax charged to your card, which you are not informed about beforehand. This is a compulsory tax for the state of California.
Room:
The room was decent. It had a small fridge, but nothing for brushing your teeth. I don’t know if it’s typical of American hotels, but I find showers without hand showers inconvenient. The bed was comfortable. I have some doubts about the cleanliness of the thick carpet, though it seemed clean. Instead of curtains, there are blinds on the windows, which I found disappointing.
Breakfast:
I was disappointed that there was no breakfast provided. Only coffee is offered in the morning and wine in the afternoon, but honestly, I don't care for the wine. We need food. I had to walk 15 minutes to a Seven Eleven to get something to eat and drink.
Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi was quite good and worked very well.
Overall, the Galleria Park Hotel has some good points, but there are several areas where it could improve.

KKJI stayed for 3 nights in Hotel Caza, Fisherman's Wharf. It is an amazing hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist Ms Vanessa M was absolutely amazing. She was very helpful in making suggestions and guiding me with plans as I was a first time visitor to San Francisco like me. If I ever come to San Francisco again, this is exactly where I would be staying

NNancy XIt's a hotel with some proud history. They've arranged a corridor to introduce their past and the hotel is elegantly decorated. There's some sort of package that I've paid for at trip.com. that I didn't really know about and they've given me 20 dollar allowance to use for the hotel food because of this. The room is clean, and basically you could use the lift by yourself because it requires you to enter your floor number before you get in the specific lift. The hotel is right in front of the union square so you're accesible to many stuff. I've talked to some guests at the breakfast place and some of them have come here many times. I think I would come again some time, if SF city has less homeless and become cleaner, like it used to be.

KKin LongA truly adorable hotel, in terms of hardware. Unfortunately, I suspect that I might have come across, as an East Asian, some sorts of racial discrimination at this property. For instance, I was asked how I got my European passport and, for multiple times, where I was “originally” from. I was intentionally assigned with a low-floor room with absolutely no view (facing their office room across a narrow atrium; the room in my photos is after me paying for an upgrade).

PPengguna TetamuVery nice hostel. The check in was a bit of an issue despite paying on trip.com they stated I had a balance due because I never made a payment and asked me to due so. I showed them the receipt from trip.com and all was well. They do require you to scan a QR code to send a text on WhatsApp to get all the information for your room. My phone was on 5% upon arrival this isn’t convenient. There are only two toilets on the floor with several rooms. The facilities are very clean. However there was hair left in my blanket I was given. Very cold in the room and if you’re near the street you hear everything. Overall great for an overnight stay but not more than 2 days

BBMIKAThe hotel is not far from the heart of the City, at a walking distance. The place is not very sexy but that's OK. The staff is super friendly. Hopefully because this is an hotel which would need to be renovated. There was a resort fee of USD 31 / day, which is super high when there are almost no amenities to justify it (a ”glass” of wine, 10% on the next door restaurant where I've never been). Jackie decided to wave it, which was nice and honest from her part, giving the feeling that she perfectly understood the issue. She also told the bartender to give a real glass of wine (white or red, no choice for the wine) in a wine glass, instead of 10 cl of wine in a water glass (this is supposed to be part of the resort fee). Note that the suite I booked was supposed to have a city view as mentionned on the reservation but the main view was on the wall of the building next door. I think the hotel is a bit expensive for what it is, especially in the actual social/drug crisis in San Francisco. The center of the City is not the best place to be anymore. Thanks again to Jackie, Tinnie, and the staff of the hotel for their kindness.
