The Jay, Autograph Collection

Everything about the Jay was top notch. Booking was easy as was checkin, beautiful big rooms, state of the art gym, delicious coffee and comfy beds. The location was great too, able to walk to he Ferry Building for breakfast or lunch. We will definitely come stay with you again!

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The 3rd Floor bar has outside seating, which is especially nice when the weather is pleasant. Great location, close to BART and the Embarcadero. The staff was outstanding, particularly Britt and Kat!! Will most assuredly stay here again!!

This newly renovated hotel is in a great area for exploring the city and is incredibly well designed. We absolutely loved the room and the entire property felt modern and very tasteful. The staff was kind and friendly and showed pride in the hotel. We stayed for our anniversary and walked to china town just blocks away, show at punchline across the street and walked the embarcadero down to the wharf and back. We’ll stay again next trip to the city for sure.

Amazing service by Alfonso and Jenna. WE go there every month and they are absolutely delightful and very friendly. They are the best when you try to go to the hotel after a long day and you are able to see friendly faces who are willing to help everyone. Love the place!

Recently renovated and rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I stayed one night and it was a great experience. I am very sensitive to city noise and had no issues at this hotel. I also appreciated that they let you turn thermostat down to a comfortable sleeping temperature unlike many hotels who fix low temp well above ideal sleeping temperature. Nice views and comfortable bed. I ordered room service and the food was good. I did not have time to use other amenities. My one suggestion is to provide a single use soap bar for guests. They only had a pump hand soap with very strong odor. Bring your own soap if this is an issue for you. I also wish Marriott would upgrade their hair dryers, especially in the higher end hotels.

I probably stay in hotels 70 plus nights a year. It’s not even close to the competition this hotel shines. Amazing hotel beautiful room finishes and the rate is a+++ to go along with the hotel. It’s not even a question this will be my go to when I’m staying in the bay area.

Fabulously remodeled hotel well located in San Francisco, just a few minutes walk from Market St and the Embarcadero. As others have noted, the hotel is very stylish and modern, giving it that luxury feeling. Kat (I think that was her name) on the front desk was exceptional on check in and accommodated a request with ease after we were settled in. We stayed in a Corner Suite and loved it. It was nice and spacious for a couple people, with a king bed, a working desk and a full sized couch and lounge chair. The bathroom was also large. We stayed over a weekend from Friday to Monday. Largely speaking, the hotel was very quiet at night. Minimum street noise on the 14th floor. We did hear our neighbours once or twice but never at unreasonable hours. There was a large event at the hotel on the Sunday night with pounding music that we could hear very clearly in our room from outside 14 storeys up, but it quieted down entirely around 9:45 p.m. We did not keep our car on check in so did not use the valet. Though, when we pulled up to drop our bags off so that we could go return our rental car, the valet kept insisting that we hand him the keys despite us telling him repeatedly that we were only dropping the bags and leaving immediately. Perhaps a miscommunication but we were surprised how forceful he was about it. I think the sign said valet parking is $72 a night. Overall, a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The Jay has great style. Wood accents everywhere in the decor and accessories (even the room key). Walking distance to the financial district, North Beach and Chinatown. The 3rd floor bar is lively and features expertly crafted cocktails and attentive service.

The Jay is a beautiful hotel in a great and really walkable location. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant is delicious and the bar has great cocktails. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!
