Not Kimpton Level Quality. This is a nice Holiday Inn, but not worth the Kimpton price. Stayed for 5 nights. CONS: Homeless guy sitting in the corner sleeping at the long table in the nook of the lobby! Flies swarming outside front doors day and night; and flies in the lobby when they prop open the front door! Stairs going down to enter hotel; very inconvenient with luggage; Everyone pays for parking in price of room, even if you don't have a car; No coffee nor microwave in room; Coffee only in lobby only from 6-10am and it was already COLD at 6:45am; False Advertising: I measured the ”Queen bed”. It's NOT a Queen, it's a FULL sized mattress (smaller) bed! Why did the guy checking in the 4 of us ask if I wanted a free upgrade from 2 Queens to ONE King?!?! I assumed he said 2 Kings, but nope, he checked the 4 of us into a room with only 1 KING bed and explained their rooms are not big enough for 2 Kings. Wow! LOUD ANNOYING keyboard player/singer in small lobby Saturday night; guy checking us in had to shout over the ”music”; No dresser; Dirty, dusty carpet along the walls; Ice only on 3rd & 7th floors; Fitness Center is useless for weight lifting: hand weights up to only 25lbs and no Universal weights machine. 4 cardio machines not necessary because you automatically get your cardio walking anywhere in the city; No breakfast & their on-site restaurant went out of business; They ignored the loud car alarm in their garage for at least 10 minutes. My husband and I stayed here overnight for a belated Valentine's celebration. We had planned on going to have fondue at a restaurant on Van Ness several blocks away and we thought that this location would be a wonderful place to stay at nearby. When we arrived, Amanda welcomed us in and helped take in our luggage and checked us in. It definitely felt like a bed and breakfast but a bit more elevated. Our room, Jardin, was not the biggest room, but definitely the most comfortable. I really liked how the water closet was separate from the shower room. It had a nice tv with a desk and water available to us. The most amazing part of this experience was the bed. The bed was THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in my entire lifetime. If I had the choice, I would definitely come back here to sleep in that bed. Breakfast was your standard continental breakfast, but it was very nice and we very much enjoyed it. We were pretty much all to ourselves that morning, so it was great. We had to check out a bit earlier since we had another engagement, but I would have to say that it was an great place to stay at. Amanda was wonderful and was always there to help us when we had questions or needed help with the temperature in the room. I'm glad that we stumbled upon this amazing place. We look forward to staying again here soon.

The Drisco It's an remarkable hotel. It has been the absolute best establishment my husband and I have ever stayed (15 year timeline). We have stayed as couple and with family, usually in a suite. There is a quiet, old world attitude that makes you feel you have walked into an oasis of personal pampering. We have been impressed by the consistency of hospitality, the professionalism of the staff, the innate charm of the building, which is beautifully maintained. Thank you for turning off the voice in the elevator announcing the floor. There are only 4. The helpful staff are thoughtful to the small touches of comfort, whether making arrangements or offering suggestions. How many nice hotels actually fill the tank in the Nespresso machine in advance? How many stock your room ice bucket with fresh cubes in advance, or tuck china dishes, forks, napkins in the wooden cablnet in case you want your complimentary welcome snacks on real plates? The rooms contain a curiousity of amenities, even pen and paper, umbrella, tate bags and other small objects that make you realize some has taken time to plan thoroughly for the possible needs of their guests. Towels and sheets are thick and soft, the bathroom floor is heated; the shower controls reliably uncomplicated. Both breakfast & evening appetizers are included in a well appointed dining room with white tablecloths. I can only imagine the amount of behind the scenes attention to detail that management and staff perform to create this environment for their guests. I feel very fortunate that the Hotel Drisco exists.

When I entered my room I felt I stepped back in time to the 1800's. Decor is very Victorian cozy. Bathroom has modern plumbing but it did have a clawfoot bathtub which kept the feel of time. The hotel I believe was one family's home in the early 1900's which turned into a hotel. I chose this hotel because it was couple blocks away from a class I took at the Japanese Cultural Center of Northern California. After class I explored Japantown which was a treat. Hotel Majestic is centrally located in heart of Japantown which is easy to travel by using public transportation. I didn't want to rent a car since I only went for 1 day and I knew parking would be hard in the city. I was pleasantly surprised they offer complimentary full breakfast which I was unaware. If my travels take me to San Francisco again I would stay at Hotel Majestic for its location, amenities, friendly personnel service and reasonable rates.

Tempat yang baik untuk tinggal secara umum, kakitangan sangat bagus, bilik bersih walaupun bilik saya mempunyai beberapa peralatan yang rosak dan tidak mempunyai microwave seperti yang disebutkan tetapi selain itu tiada aduan. Ia adalah kawasan kejiranan yang selamat, agak jauh tetapi berdekatan dengan pelbagai jenis kedai termasuk Walgreens satu blok jauhnya.
