I came up for a high school reunion and since I stayed here before, I wanted to stay here again. The woman at the front desk was friendly and inviting, and since I'm a Marriott member, per my request, I was given a great room on a high floor, and away from the elevator. Spacious room, great AC/heater unit, and the kitchen was helpful since I was there for four days. The breakfast buffet was great! Something different each day. Didn't care much for the pastry selection, but it worked. Really good coffee!!! Every staff worker I encountered was friendly and a couple asked if I had everything I needed. I really like staying here when I'm up in San Jose. It is so close to the airport, yet you can't hear the planes! I took two early morning walks along the river trail, and there you could hear the planes! Definitely worth staying at!

Secara keseluruhan saya akan memberikannya 4 bintang. Terdapat kesan kotor pada salah satu rak tetapi tiada apa-apa yang serius, disebabkan wabak itu, tiada sarapan pagi namun mereka menebusnya dengan menyediakan makanan ringan dan minuman panas percuma 24 jam. Pasti akan kembali.

After a long day in the airport, this hotel was close and convenient. The neighborhood looked shady for us country bumpkins, so I was grateful for the enclosed parking and entrance to the hotel from the off street parking. The front desk was accommodating. The room was quiet. No heavy scents. The breakfast was sufficient. Cooked eggs and sausage. Juice was out of order.

I went to stay here for the entire summer while I was working in the Bay Area. I made a reservation months in advance so I could get a better rate. I chose this location SPECIFICALLY because the rooms looked better on the website and had clear pictures of a desk workstation that I could use for working from my room. I even called the front desk ahead of time to confirm this. Pulled into the parking lot and the security gate was broken and permanently open. Seemed sketchy. When I got to the room, there was no desk or dedicated space for working. I went down to the front desk and asked the lady if there were rooms with desks, to which she responded that there weren't. So I was left to frantically search for another place to stay. After finding another ESA location nearby that claimed they had desks, I made a reservation with the new location. I had to pay hundreds of dollars more for my twelve-week stay because I did not make the reservation in advance. We returned back to this location to cancel my reservation and check out. We had to wait 15 minutes at the front desk for an attendant to come back and help us. This man had BLOOD ON HIS SHIRT and FACE TATTOOS. When we were surprised that he was the front desk attendant, he said, ”What? You don't think I work here?” No, we don't think that this face-tattooed, shirt-bloodied man works here. Anyways, we tried to check out but the man said that his system wasn't letting him check us out. We told him that we could not stay here and returned our keys to indicate that we were not staying in the room. Since it was after 6:00 pm, we could not cancel our reservation. Since it was a Saturday, I couldn't make a refund request until the next BUSINESS DAY. I called support on the next business day and asked for a refund, and they informed me that I hadn't even been checked out of my room. Ugh. I checked out over the phone and told them about my situation. They said they could refund me for the days I wasn't staying but I'd have to talk to the hotel manager directly about the days I ”did stay.” I called the manager and he kept telling me that I must have stayed in the room because it shows on his system as me checking in on Saturday and checking out on Monday. Even after I told him about my situation he said that some of the rooms do have desks and that the front desk person must have misunderstood my question. How is that be my problem? I continued to explain to him that I never actually stayed in the room and tried to check out with the front desk but they said the system wouldn't let them. He told me he'd conduct an investigation and get back to me in a few days. I called back a few days later to ask for an update. He said that he asked his staff and they remember me checking in on Saturday. He said the best he could do was give me 20% of what I paid for the two nights as ESA credit. Offended, I wanted to check that he talked to the man, not the woman. I asked again what the front desk person said and

This hotel had terrible reviews earlier in the year but my visit was very nice. Yes, it's next to the highway but that is ”white noise” to me. Conveniently located near SJC as well as the VTS light rail. The pool looked very nice and was heated. I will stay here again
