La Valise San Miguel de Allende, Member of Small Luxury Hotels

We were absolutely blown away by the level of service we received! We weren’t expecting such attention to detail and care, but this team went above and beyond in every way. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and truly exceptional. Highly recommend!

A delightful hotel in the heart of the old city. Just a block and a half from the Paroquia de San Miguel Arcángel. Comfortable room. #4 has a gigantic bath tub with shower. Wonderful breakfasts in the courtyard. Attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I stayed at La Valise as part of a language immersion with Fluenz. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The building is lovely, the staff is incredibly helpful, the central location is convenient. San Miguel is a magical romantic destination and La Valise is very beautiful, but all the unromantic details are equally well taken care of - wifi, laundry, transportation. I plan on returning.

This small luxury hotel is such a gem in the middle of the most enchanting city in Mexico. The staff is extremely helpful, professional, friendly, accomodating, and became my friends throughout the visit. The rooms are exquisitely designed and are all different. It was such a wonderful experience I can't wait to return here.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The bed and pillows are so comfortable, the Genesis room boasts an incredible bathroom 🛀, and the breakfast is delicious. Additionally, the staff is extraordinary and is in the center of San Miguel so you walk everywhere.

I would thoroughly recommend this property. Beautiful house on a pedestrian street in the middle of the centre of SMA. So close to everything but surprisingly quiet. Only six lovely rooms around a courtyard garden - where you are served a delicious breakfast every morning. The rooms were large and luxurious - with an excellent housekeeping service. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here. A huge thanks to Nicholas and Marco for making it so special!

One of the best experiences in travel and we are so glad we picked La Valise as our destination. The hospitality here was top notch and they are lucky to have Marco working here as he was very attentive of small details, every second from the beginning of our reservation, before we arrived, when we arrived and during our complete stay. What’s most important it’s that the hospitality was always very authentic and service minded. Marco ensured that the whole Team kept him informed of our stay, this hotel compared to any other from what I saw online and also walking down the streets was by far the best, most inviting, private, beautiful work and decoration, top service, has also one of the best views with its beautiful terrace facing the “Parroquia” and this is by far the best location in the middle of all the other places you will end up visiting during your stay. Every place, top restaurant, park, parroquia and Artisan markets are less than 5 minutes walking distance from this hotel. Extremely safe, very private and welcoming. Well trained profesional staff, welcoming Team and all day you see employees cleaning, taking care of small details which shows how much attention to detail they put to the whole experience. Marco took care of several dinner reservations, recommendations and even had great small gestures with us to make us feel at home. We thank the whole La valise Team for such an amazing experience to enjoy our anniversary. I am sure family and friends will have to come check it out for themselves. Highly recommend it. I was visiting for a wedding and it was hard to leave this place after a short stay. This Boutique hotel is truly a hidden gem. I was surprised that this hotel didn't have a lot of reviews. Everything about this hotel is 5-star. I like that cars can not go up and down the street the hotel is on. Luis and Nicholas were amazing hosts. They are very kind and attentive to the things you need. I stayed in the Alma and it was beautiful. When I arrived Luis checked me in, walked me to my room, and told me everything I needed to know about the room. I had a card on the table with my name and some fresh grapefruit welcoming me. There is a lot of natural lighting coming into this room and I enjoyed it. There is a white noise sound system in the room, with different sounds, to help you sleep if you need it. Waking up in this room was refreshing, especially to the beautiful Aztec monkeys on the wall. Grateful for the A/C in the room because it was very hot outside. The breakfast was amazing and included. They also offer massages in your room through a vendor in which they can arrange for you. The massage was not expensive. This hotel is close to many restaurants, bars, and shops. When visiting San Miguel I will definitely be back to stay here.

The staff from beginning to end were exceptional! The Concierge duo was on-point! The breakfast setting was very romantic and yummy! The scent used throughout the property was divine! Glad we were able to share birthday memories with you.
