Hotel Boutique Casa Laja

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are Lovely & VERY accommodating. They have great wifi and it’s pretty centrally located. Those are the pros. The cons: it’s on a giant hill of cobblestone and very challenging to leave/return. It’s at least a 10m walk to ANY food. The shower has very little pressure and it takes ~ 10 min to get hot. The lights in our room were challenging for a couple. Turning the light on in the toilet also turned on the light in the shower which was glass and woke up my sleeping partner.

Top notch service. We visited thanks to a couple's suggestion we had met while in SMA and boy did it exceed our expectations. The hotel and restaurant are both meticulously well appointed. The view was outstanding. The food was spectacular, what stood out though was the service! We were staying at one of the cities most luxurious hotels and it didn't hold a candle to this restaurant. After eating dinners all week in SMA this was by far the best meal we had, no competition. I would even go as far as to say this restaurant provided the best meal and restaurant experience we have Ever had. Each dish was so incredibly lovely. We started with the catch of the day ceviche as well as the cauliflower, then followed it with the octopus and catch of the day main course. To complete the night the owner had gifted us a complementary flan dessert. AMAZING! Once done, the restaurant partner brought us to meet the owner of the hotel and he personally showed us the rooms and asked how our restaurant experience was. We were truly disappointed that we hadn't stayed at this lovely hotel. I cannot emphasize how invested this hotel and its restaurant is in making your experience the best you have ever had. Go to dinner here, it will be the highlight of your stay in SMA.

Las imágenes no corresponden a lo que anuncia, no había agua y mucho menos servía la regadera y no tuvieron explicación y nos propusieron regalarnos el desayuno para enmendar el error (cabe recalcar el desayuno estaba incluido en la tarifa), también olvidé un collar en la habitación Oro y casualmente nadie lo ha visto, quedaron en regresarme la llamada y ya hasta me bloquearon el número y añadido a esto, me llegan cargos de Rappi a la tarjeta que registré cuando evidentemente no sigo hospedado. de verdad eviten el mal sabor de boca y vayan a otro hotel que por menos dinero tendrán mejor experiencia,

las imágenes son engañosas, no caigan en esta trampa, no servia la regadera del baño, y no había agua, no tuvieron explicación y nos propusieron regalarnos el desayuno para enmendar el error (cabe recalcar el desayuno estaba incluido en la tarifa), también olvidamos un collar hablamos enseguida y para nuestra no sorpresa ya habían robado el collar, hay mucho mejores opciones cerca de este hotel caro para lo que es, las recámaras no tienen vista a ningún lado, nosotros nos alojamos en la habitación oro, busquen otras opciones como hacienda los amantes que es más barata y extremadamente superior en relación calidad precio. eviten este lugar se llevarán una mala sorpresa. jamás ponemos malas notas en los hoteles, es más ni hacemos reseñas, pero sentimos que debemos hacer saber a las personas de este mal sabor de boca P.D. incluso el personal del hotel dice que los dueños y gerente nunca van al hotel y lamentan que lleguen personas así como ellos a poner hoteles en San Miguel. una lastima.
