SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort Hotel

This hotel will be our new regular hotel! Not only is the facility beautiful and always well-maintained, but the staff in particular make this hotel a very special place. Therefore our very big THANK YOU to all employees! See you next time. We cant wait!

If you want to spend too much money on an « upgrade » Novotel , this is the place. Just to name of few issues we during our stay of five nights: - shower overflowing (poor maintenance of sewage) - very poor advice from concierge - super slow response from the staff on requests made prior to our arrival - food in the Ixo bistro and at SoCiety are the quality of a standard motorway diner… - a lot of renovation ongoing (pool area) without pre-warning - No soap in the shower - indoor pools smells worst than public swimming pools However, the surroundings and the resort itself is beautiful and the staff has the potential to be trained. If they want to go for 5-star level, they can…but it cannot be just an upgrade version of a Novotel

I organized my company conference/training for 3 days at the resort and everything went so well and smoothly. THe staff were very supportive in helping me get everything organized for the event and everything went well. We had just over 90 guests and everyone told me how much they loved the rooms, the spaces, the meals and just the overall stay. They and I were very satistied with the friendly staff, the beautiful pools, spa, restaurants and meeting room. The hotel had a lot of event option too, that we unfortuately did not have time to do during the work trip. thank you So Sotogrande!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at So Sotogrande. The Hotel is stunning and situated on a hill overlooking the sea in the distance. The facilities are second to none, with something to cater for both adults only and families with young children. We are a family with two small children (7 and 3) and I cannot express how amazing the onsite Kids Club entertainers were with our two. They kept them entertained for hours in the pool and with games and crafting activities through the day. We stayed in a one-bedroom Suite ("So Suite") which was very spacious and luxurious with a dividing room (lounge area) that had a double-sofa bed for the kids. This worked well. All the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help and to ensure our stay was as stress-free as possible. Highly recommend.

Everything amazing from front desk to the rooms, a lot of care in details. Specially the breakfast, Mercedes made our experience be unforgettable!!! The decoration indoors and outdoors super nice. Thank you for this days here!!!! Do not miss So/Sotogrande

Beautiful resort, relaxed and friendly with super helpful staff. Jorge at the front desk assisted with every request. Food was excellent and good value. Will absolutely return and enjoy the super villa style rooms and peaceful gardens… ohhh and the golf.

We ate in the tapas restaurant 2 years ago and it was ok, this year we ate there again and it was great, the manager made sure all the food ordered was to our liking and the hostess Maria was friendly and helpful. We’ve eaten in many tapas restaurants and have no hesitation in recommending this one
