I hired a buggy and they wanted me to sign an indemnity form that if ANY damage to the buggy I had to pay for ANY damage. I said I’m not signing it under any circumstances, then many bosses appeared and said I can drive buggy, I said no as that’s what I’m paying the caddy for. One of the bosses said you are not a Thai local and then I showed her my Thai drivers license and said I live in Thailand. I’m not sure why she asked that? As they don’t like confrontation nothing was said, I decided to walk, therefore be aware that if you hire a buggy, you have to pay for all damage driving or not driving the buggy. Not a good way to run a golf course. I’ve played other courses in Chiang Mai and Thailand and have never been asked to sign for damage to the buggy. Great course but will never return.

Wij hebben met twee personen vijf dagen doorgebracht in Fern Paradise. De locatie was uitstekend en de manier waarop de kamers door de eigenaar zijn ingericht, deed ons denken aan onze jeugd in Suriname. De natuur was prachtig en we hebben genoten van de rust en eenvoud. De mede-eigenaar was zeer behulpzaam en stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen. Hij gaf ons tips over wat we konden doen en waar we konden eten. Het enige nadeel is dat het resort ver van Chiang Mai Old City en het stadscentrum ligt. Je bent afhankelijk van een taxi of een Grab-app om je te verplaatsen. Al met al is Fern Paradise een prachtige plek om tot rust te komen. Vergeet niet om voldoende muggenspray mee te nemen, want het resort ligt in een groene omgeving. Tip: koop de muggenspray bij een supermarkt die heet 7/11 spul van daar is beter dan ons kruidvat of etos spray.

Staffs are so kind and this place is so lovely. This place has many facilities that you don’t have to go outside such as great food, massage and spa. That’s will be great for relaxing! If you come to Chiangmai, don’t forget to choose and stay this place. I’m sure that you will impress with this place.

Really really loved our stay at Horizon! The minute we pulled into the resort we felt at peace. So much space, so much to see, so much to do. We loved stepping outside of our room and being able to go on long walks or bikerides, kids loved the playgrounds and animals. We loved the three swimming pools, particularly the two with a slide. First three night we spent in a deluxe room I think, which was spacious and great. Then we moved to a standard room which was also very nice, but a bit smaller. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Staff always very friendly. Only downside is that we think the food at the restaurant is just about average. Not bad, but also not very good. But there are a bunch of excellent restaurants within a 10 minute drive (Bucoliq, Chill House, Locanda…) or you can order Grab. City of Chiang Mai is about a 15 minute drive away, easy drive, just staright down the road. It was the perfect retreat for us, we never were bored and the kids LOVED it.

พี่เจ้าของน่ารัก พนักงานน่ารัก ป้าแม่บ้านขยันทำความสะอาด ขยันเปลี่ยนผ้าเช็ดตัวทุกๆ วัน อาหารเช้าเยอะมากๆ นอกจาก ขนมปัง ไข่ดาว ไส้กรอกแล้ว ยังมีอาหารไทย และผลไม้ด้วย ที่พักมีบริการขี่ม้า ตกปลา มีสระว่ายน้ำ มีกิจกรรมให้ทำหลากหลาย ที่พักเงียบสงบมากๆ เหมาะแก่การพักผ่อนชิลๆ
