Ulasan Silver Surf Motel

The location was easy to find, and the beachfront was beautiful. It's a standard motel. The only downside was that we were assigned a room on the second floor with our luggage, which made carrying it up a bit challenging. However, the room itself was quite spacious.

The room clearly lacked amenities like aircon, electric tree spot, fan, iron etc. The coffee maker was disgusting - only when doing my second coffee I noticed some tinging weird on the water surface - that was a huge piece of disgusting dirt, I suppose it’s a mold! And I have already had 1 cup! That’s horrible, I hope I won’t get sick. No promised 7,5 USD breakfast. Trip.com states you can get 7$ breakfast, but when we asked about it while checking in a guy on a front desk looked annoyed and said it’s boring, just sausage+eggs+drink, people complained and we should get a La carte breakfast instead, cause it’s the same price. Later I explored online restaurant menu and found same breakfast in that restaurant will cost me 20$ per person. So I decided to use the offer anyway. During check out there was a new girl on the counter and I asked her for the 7$ breakfast. First, she used the same facts to persuade me not use the offer. However, after I insisted I still want it, she said that there is actually no 7,5$ breakfast offer anymore! So why did we have this 5 minutes conversation with 2 different people? So weird! We ended up paying 35$ for the breakfast at that restaurant. Also, during check out it was already 10 minutes since the office opened but there was noone inside, so we waited for 5 minutes until girl picked a phone and never opened the door.

Poor service

Hygiene: Clean, which is normal for this price. The only downside is that the items are old and not very bright. Facilities: Everything is fine except for the lack of a hairdryer. There's also a microwave! You can heat up takeout food! Service: Standard service.

The worst motel in the US, the hygiene is so bad that I dare not stay in it, the stains that were taken are still on it, I doubt they have changed it. The service attitude is also very bad.

Since we left late from the previous stop, it was already 10:30 pm when we arrived. The road was very dark. It was easy to find this location following the navigation. There was a very eye-catching sign, but it was best not to drive there at night. There were many hotels nearby, but this place was generally quiet and secluded, but it still made us feel safe. Later, the instructions given to us said that the latest check-in time was 11:00 pm. It felt that we could not check in any later. Friends who come here should pay attention to the time. Parking is very convenient, with many parking spaces, but there is no breakfast, and there are not many places to eat nearby. We left for a long time and found a small town to buy food. Although it is August now, it was too cold when we arrived. The phone showed that it was only 12 degrees at night. Fortunately, there was heating. It was the first time to turn on the heating in August.

There are many hotels around and it is a ten-minute drive from the sea lion viewing point. All hotel prices go up during the holidays. The environmental facilities are at the level of a fast hotel. Those with low requirements can be considered.
