We stood at Sanibel for a four night stop whilst travelling around Florida. What a beautiful place to be! It‘s very calm at the beach as well as in the resort itself. There are loads of shells to collect. Service is major. Bikes are free to use. BBQ area dito. And at the free guided walk at the beach with Maggie Ciufo we learnt a lot about the ecosystem of the island (recommended). We‘d love to stay longer. Maybe we‘ll get back here in the years to come…

It was beyond words amazing! Jesus at the front desk, Isaiah at Sandollar! The Tiki bar and pool right on the beach, the spotless rooms! I can’t say enough! Our family has been coming to Sanibel for 60+ years and this is by far the best! This was our first time staying here and we already booked our Thanksgiving week here the day we got home. We honestly don’t know where the negative reviews come from, but there’s negative people everywhere, sadly. It was so relaxing and gorgeous and everyone was so genuinely friendly. The beds are the most comfortable beds ever ever ever. My only thing negative is that I didnt care for the people next to us setting up their beach chairs in the walkway and smoking and also these people taking the Sandollars out of the ocean and hiding them in their bags, going back for more. Please put up signage that it is illegal to take these babies out of their ocean!
