Albariza Hotel Boutique

This small hotel is very well run, the staff are extremely helpful and the location is ideal for walking around Sanlucar. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. I can’t fault the hotel at all and highly recommend it. A great stay, thank you.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room very comfortable, tastefully decorated with view of beautiful inner courtyard with orange trees. Quite centrally located, 5 minutes to main plaza with excellent restaurants and bars, lovely 20-minute walk to the beach. Only issue is the expensive parking but not a lot you can do about that. Sanlucar is a joy for seafood lovers and we would happily stay in this hotel again.

This was a truly outstanding hotel in every respect . The service was quite exceptional and in a class of its own . Reception desk could absolutely not have been more attentive ! So much attention to detail throughout the building and all of a very high quality. We were so impressed that we insisted on speaking to the owners personally to highly commend their hotel and their superb team . The rave reviews we have read totally speak for themselves .We will greatly look forward to returning to Sanlucar but would only come if we could stay at this amazing hotel again !

This was the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and the experience was as good as the first time. The staff are all lovely and the property is great. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Definitely the best lace to stay if you are visiting Sanlucar!

This is a really lovely hotel in a great location for exploring Sanlucar. The staff were very helpful and friendly, happy to give their recommendations for dinner etc. Design of the hotel is very stylish, modern but with an authentic feel. We’d highly recommend!

Just returned from 3 lovely days in this delightful boutique hotel. We stayed in the junior suite on the 2nd floor which was very tastefully furnished in a minimalistic way as is the whole hotel which is just 2 years old and owned by a lovely couple who restored it from a derelict wreck and had no previous experience in hospitality. They have learnt the business very quickly and have hand picked excellent staff especially Maria, Bea and Gonazola who all became our friends and looked after our every need. The hotel is well placed very close to the town centre, beach and bario alto all of which are essential to visit during your stay. Maria and Bea booked some great restaurants for us but this being October, many were closed for holidays. The town centre is really busy and although the Calle Bolsa, where the Albariza is located, is a bit run down, things are improving with other restoration projects underway, probably due to the presence of this lovely hotel. Breakfast and drinks are served in the courtyard by the ever helpful staff and you can order whatever you like! Sanlucar is the real authentic Spanish experience with little english spoken, but all the better for it. A far cry from the Costa Del Sol and with prices perhaps half you might pay there. The seafood is a specialty and excellent. Try not to take a big car as the streets are really narrow but there is discounted parking in the large undergound car park nearby. We loved the whole experience of the hotel and the town and will be back as soon as we can!

We stayed two nights in this well located and understated hotel. It is an elegant and modern restoration of one of the old buildings in Sanlucar . The bedrooms are well designed with high ceilings giving a feeling of space and light. There is a beautiful courtyard where breakfast is served - fresh fruit, coffee and juices. You can walk from the hotel into the old town in a matter of minutes and enjoy the restaurants, tapas bars and shops. However the memory of the hotel you will take away is the friendliness of the staff. They cannot do enough to help their guests.

We stayed here for three nights. The hotel doesn’t have a car park but ha a garage you can use to unload your bags then you park in a car park nearby which the hotel has an agreed discounted rate with. The hotel is very near the square and everything is within walking distance (the beach is about 15 mins walk). The hotel was clean, had a comfortable bed with good linens and a good shower. The hotel staff were so friendly and keen to help. They recommended some great restaurants and made bookings for us. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a superior room for 7 nights. Had to ask lor fresh bed linen after 4 nights. Hotel seems to be run by receptionists ? The only one capable and efficient is Tete. When Tete was not there, it was chaos, breskfast was hit and miss. If this hotel wants to attract english customers they need to do much more. I would like a breakfast menu, not to guess. I would also like an english speaking news channel on tv. Otherwise it was nice, but quite expensive.
