Hotel Santa Barbara dengan Kolam Renang

I’ll start by saying this is the first review I have ever written about anything… This hotel is beautiful. The valet and the front staff were lovely. The rooftop pool was perfect and the location was just right. However- the walls of the hotel rooms are PAPER THIN. You can hear absolutely everything. When we first checked in at 430pm, there was housekeeping working on the room next door and it sounded like a construction site (we actually to confirm it there was)- vacuums hitting the walls, furniture being moved, stuff being dropped onto the floors- but the worst was very loud conversations about things that should not be discussed in a work environment at a $500/night hotel. In order to mask the noise, we put on some music in our room (at 5pm mind you) and 10 minutes later we got a knock on the door reporting the music was too loud! The next morning we woke up to our neighbors laughing hysterically and blasting Taylor swift (and hey, I’m a swiftie myself), but the loud cackling is not something I want to be woken up to on vacation. I am really sad to say I will not stay here again. It was definitely not worth spending almost $500 for one night.

The FROWNS: some of the walls in motel room were scuffed up and needed touch up painting; no microwave in rooms (had to make chamomile tea with lukewarm tap water from faucet); not enough parking on site for all patrons because they designated two spots for “members only” parking. Our daughter and husband booked a regular room but were given a H/C accessible room which they did not like (room odor). Management would not let them change rooms because they were “full”. They were promised a discount the next day but staff was nowhere to be found at checkout to obtain that “promised” discount. 👎🏼 The SMILES: AC is very quiet; they have outdoor tables for people who want to eat outside; they are one of the few motels that provides sugarless syrup for patrons who need to watch their sugar intake (there is a waffle machine in breakfast room); located in cute part of town; only a couple blocks away from a Trader Joe’s.

We loved our stay at Hotel Milo! Everyone from the front desk to the valet were so friendly and helpful. We loved the complimentary bikes - what a fun way to see the gorgeous scenery of Santa Barbara! The hotel is central and within walking distance of so much - the harbor, the wharf, State Street, and so many restaurants/shops. The cozy firepits around the property are a great way to end the night as well. Highly recommend and we hope to get back to Santa Barbara to stay here again!

In a great area on state street with lots of places to walk to the downtown are is about a mile and half walk. We would have given an extra point if a few small things were fixed or changed. We had to swap our first room as TV and safe deposit weren’t working. This might mean the batteries need changing only a small thing that causes issues. Both rooms we had the front door opens and smashed into the bathroom door again easy fix and stops damage. The second room we moved into never had any towels but the young staff member was amazing and so helpful got us them within minutes. Think her name was Annie she has great people skills and very helpful. When we did find the towels in our second room they were thrown on top of wardrobe covering empty beer cans and empty vodka bottle. Again the amazing Annie came and cleared away, the issues we encountered weren’t huge but we are laid back and on holiday so wouldn’t let it ruin our stay. With an emphasis on better house keeping or maybe a more experienced manager this place good be great. Free parking was a bonus and another reason we didn’t score really low.

The resort was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. We brought our golden retriever and it was a very pleasant stay for him as well. The location is close enough to the shops and restaurants of State St. but far enough away to be peaceful and not too crowded. My only complaint is the food. We ate at all of the different restaurants and each time we were so disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices were astronomical. I don't mind paying a lot for good food, but this food was worse than what I make at home and I am not a good cook! My daughter ordered the lobster roll at The Set and it was terrible. $30 down the drain. We had breakfast at The Roundhouse and the avocado toast was beyond bland. Then we tried lunch at the Terraza del Mar - I got a chicken Cesar salad and my daughter got a poke bowl. The salad was cole slaw mix and chicken, that was it. Her poke bowl didn't have the rice that it was supposed to have and was horrible, she couldn't have more than a couple bites. I would stay at the resort again, but would never eat at any of their restaurants again. Better to Doordash or eat off property.

Love this hotel very much. It's big with comfortable bed pillows and kitchenette. A nice balcony with a fountain too. Parking was free that's a plus! Opposite a supermarket and a street delicious tacos so very happy. Only problem is the cold tiles they use on the floor which is uncomfortably sticky and also the sound proofing was very bad, the noise of cleaning, luggages going over the tiles outside of our room is pretty annoying. Might consider coming back.

房間乾淨整潔舒適寬敞明亮，早餐麪包、麥片牛奶、咖啡、培根、水果、酸奶齊全，吃得很開心。酒店就在海邊，可見碧藍的大海潔白的沙灘。順海邊走十分鐘到碼頭，有幾家海鮮🦞飯館，新鮮的螃蟹🦀龍蝦貝殼做的美食種類多質量好，絕對美味。而且酒店距離大法院不遠，有公交🚌通過門口，很方便。酒店還有恆温游泳池，不過我們由於時間短沒有去游泳。

The parking at $40 a night plus tax is too high, but other than that it was a lovely stay. Pool and hot tub were great and a nice relaxing atmosphere by the fires they light at night.
