The hotel is in an awesome spot! You can walk everywhere and it’s in the heart of the Santa Barbara area. We loved the lobby and spent time there relaxing. Our only issue was that the room was never cleaned and we had to ask for towels and the trash to be emptied.

We loved the hotel's location. Everything we wanted to go was within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and informative about activities to do in the area during all the rain. I highly recommend the hotel.

Great location and well styled & stocked facility. However, our room was very small for the 4 of us, and we had 2 full size beds. if I stay there again, I would clearly request queen size beds and confirm the room is a larger on site.

The Riviera Beach House is a boutique hotel with lots of beautiful art and nice decor. It’s located in the Funk Zone which is an arty neighborhood full of wineries and original shops. There are also some good restaurants, bakeries and cafe’s nearby. This hotel was very central, close to Stearns Wharf and State Street which was convenient. It was very clean and smelled great and the room was comfortable although small. I really enjoyed staying there and would stay there again.

Arrived to a beautiful lobby and extremely friendly staff. No elevator but they do have a luggage lift to the second floor.
Rooms are beautiful, small, but beautiful. When the 4 of us saw the room we thought “oh no! To small!” We actually loved it and the beds are amazingly comfortable as are the pillows!
Beautiful outdoor seating areas on the 2nd floor roof.
Location? The BEST! Right on State St and less than a block from the beach.
Again, everything was so wonderful and honestly every time I visit Santa Barbara I’m only staying here.

This beautiful property is in a perfect location. It’s literally steps away from the train station and walking distance from multiple restaurants, wineries, the pier/boardwalk and the beach! Perfect for couples!

Beautiful place.Great location.People were friendly.The room had a back enclosed patio which I thought was very cool.The room was kind of small for 4 people.And they charge you $50 for parking which I though wasn't cool.Didn't say anthong about that on their page.

Loved the vibe, the location, and the cleanliness of the property! A downside was the room I booked was very small (I booked a King Bed with Garden View) and a tiny bathroom, if you’re on the toilet, you’re sitting right in front of the sink with shower right next to you - but we were only there for one night, so we didn’t mind as much. Also, you can hear what’s going on in the hallways and a little bit of next door. Lastly, the train! The property is pretty close to the train tracks and so you’d hear the honking from time to time. Overall, pleasant stay with friendly and very accommodating staff :)

This hotel was in a great spot, and the staff was really accommodating and friendly. I called ahead to reserve a spot in the parking lot (paid valet parking), which turned out to be important! The only negative would be the small room size - the king size bed took up most of the room, and there was nowhere for a large mirror to hang. The bathroom/shower was compact, and would be too small for a larger person to use. Other than that, everything was clean, the staff was friendly and the hotel smelled great - so overall we call this one a win if you are ok with a small space.
