Minca Ecohabs Hotel

Perfect! The Hotel is in the middle of nature with a wonderful view of the valley from our balcony. The room was clean and the over the bed was a mosquito net so no disurbing insects. The staff is awesome! We had problems with our travel and did not know how to proceed. The woman from the reception helped us with everything possible. Without her we would have been lost. The restaurant is very good too. The food is just perfect and we even got a delicious sandwich to go at 4.40 in the morning. We will definetly recommend the hotel and the restaurant!

Breathtaking views on Santa Marta and the beginning of the Sierra Nevada from our little hut! We had hot running water for the shower from Colibri cabin which was large enough to accommodate three of us with adequate mosquito nets and insect proof nets on the open windows and doors to nature - not sure what it's like during rainy season! Carlos was very helpful in organizing our day out in Minca and surroundings as we had limited time and wanted to see as much as possible. The restaurant to the hotel is a bit of a walk away but worth it for the views! Access to the hotel is off the main road in Minca but if you have adequate taxi you can get very close and Carlos was helpful enough to send us exact GPS locations and meet us at the reception. Bring away from the main activity in town, you do not get any of the noise pollution from the bars and restaurants of Minca. The hotel is closer than you can see/think to a main road up to Minca so cars can be heard during the day but by 8pm all is quiet. You can experience a very nice sunset from one of the many miradores Ecohabs has to offer!

Zimmer direkt oberhalb Frühstücks-Raum ist für Ruhesuchende ein Problem- grosser Lärm in der Nacht weil direkt oberhalb Berg-Straße - Aussicht ist schön / Saubere Zimmer. Hotel ermöglichte ab 2. Nacht anderes Zimmer ohne Kosten - Lärm etwas besser, aber Strasse nach wie vor starke Beeinträchtigung, Service im Frühstück- längere Wartezeit und kleine Portionen.

El hotel es muy lindo, pero lamentablemente el primer dia nos robaron 200 dolares de la mochila que estaba en la habitación. Creemos que fue cuando nos limpiaron la habitacion. Lo peor de todo fue que cuando fuimos a quejarnos a la recepcion, la encargada nos trato super mal, no nos pidio disculpas para nada, y poco mas nos trató de que eramos unos mentirosos y que era nuestra palabra contra la suya, que nosotros no teniamos pruebas de que habiamos llegado con mas dinero. ABSURDO. Ademas de eso trajo a la chica de limpieza que nos dijo que le revisemos sus cosas si queriamos, que ella no tenia nada. Fue una situacion super incomoda para nosotros (obvio que no le revisamos las cosas) insinuando que nosotros queriamos sacar ventaja y estabamos inventando. No volveria para nada, en especial por el mal trato que nos dieron. Realmente por el mismo precio se consiguen lugares mejores y donde a uno no le roben. Una verguenza. No recomiendo ir para nada !!!

Hotel très vieillisant. Les photos de booking sont datées. Arrivés hier on nous a demandé de changer de chambre ce matin car d'autres avaient réservé cette chambre. Il nous a été demandé de remballer nos sacs rapidement. Puis nous avons dû attendre 2 heures notre nouvelle chambre. Pas d'eau à la douche. 2 heures d'attente à nouveau des allers et venus incessant. Ça fonctionne non pas du tout. Bref après 5.00 toujours pas d'eau à la douche. Je ne recommande pas plus le restaurant, nappes salles, couverts idem qu'il a fallu demander de changer. Jus dananas coupé à l'eau et sans goût et une addition ou l'on nous facture des choses non prises, je laisse de côté le nombre de pancakes servi différent du nombre indiqué sur la carte....

Dit hotel ligt midden in de natuur op loopafstand van Minca. Diverse hutjes bereikbaar via soms wat gladdere paadjes. Schitterende uitzicht zeker als je de Kolibrie hut krijgt. Die kijkt uit op in de verte Santa Marta. De hutjes zelf zijn prima. Goede bedden. Badkamer is simpel met alleen koud water. Voor het ontbijt moet je een stukje lopen. Dit ontbijt is redelijk. Vergeet niet een dagdeel naar de sauna/spa te gaan. Dat begint en eindigt met een mooie wandeling er naar toe. Je hebt je eigen waterval, sauna, massage en lekker fruit/smoothie en thee. Unieke belevenis!
