The Heliotopos Hotel was so charming and relaxing, and a perfect place to stay in Santorini. The location is perfect. You can access the Fira to Oia trail and get to Fira in about 30 minutes, or explore the more quiet area of Iveromigli. The family suite had a double bed on the first and two singles on a loft, and a kitchenette. The room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was a beautiful spread of home made pies and cakes, fruit and yogurt. The staff are so lovely. They took care of our every need, including providing us a breakfast of sandwiches and fruit to take to the airport for our early flight. I would absolutely stay here again. It is perfect situated for tourist activities and viewing sunsets.

We so enjoyed Heliotopos Hotel! My family (2 adults, 2 kids) made the most of this central location on Santorini in the town of Imerovigli. The walk to Fira was not too far, the sunset view is perfect, and the service and food was impeccable. They helped arrange transfers anywhere we wanted on the island. I can not think of any better way to get the real feeling of Santorini!

Our stay was amazing! The view is incredible and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It was very peaceful and quiet, a very nice place to see the sunset. Really enjoyed the little attentions like the lemonade while we were checking in. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Incredible view of the caldera. Accomodations we very comfortable and clean. Very good location, close to the bus stop to Fira and Oia. Imerovegli is a lot less busy then Oia and easy access by car. You can also walk to Fira, you can enjoy several interest points on the way and get a closer view of the volcano island. The nicest staff, were always happy to help.

Cute hotel tucked into the hills of Imerovigli. Great views, super friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast buffet comes included. Every room has a balcony overlooking the caldera, delivering magnificent sunsets every day. Recommend wholeheartedly!

My mom, sister, and I dined and had delicious food and drinks in this cave wine bar. The White and Purple lady cocktails were amazing as well as the food options recommended by Joseph-his service was top notch. The intimate setting, music, and relaxed vibe made the entire evening exceptional. We had the evening’s special, Stifado (beef stew) and it was DELICIOUS! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend!

This was the most amazing place. I went with my daughters. We had the cutest room and the view was amazing. Joseph, the manager took such good care of us. He arranged all our tours, transportation, and answered all of our questions. I had always dreamed about a trip like this to Greece and the Heliotopos hotel and Wine Bar were perfect. It was so nice to come back to hotel after a full day of touring and just walk a few steps to dinner. The food and cocktails at the Wine Bar were excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

When I searched for hotel of Santorini, I immediately booked this hotel when I knew there're cave houses here. I stayed for two nights. I enjoy every moment here. The place is sooo beautiful and typical Santorini! Only white and blue colors 🤩. My room is extremely spacious with a kitchenette, dining area, a king-size comfy bed and everything I need. There's a terrace outside my room and it's a wonderful view of the sea and Oia. Could see sunset from here but I was unlucky that the weather was not good during my stay and I couldn't see. A minimarket is just opposite to the hotel and there are a few restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. The hotel is situated at Imerovigli which is between Fira and Oia. It's a 30-min walk to Fira where the actions are. Usually I walked to Fira from the hotel but took taxi on return (standard fare Euro 15 for less than 10 mins). The staff are very nice, polite, helpful and patient, especially the lady in daytime, which I appreciate so much (I find hospitality or smile is a luxury in Greece generally and is always excluded in the price in hotels/ restaurants 😵‍💫). The bus stops going to Oia and Fira are not very near and buses are not frequent. So I mainly walked or otherwise took taxi which is very pricey. The tap water in Santorini is salty and the hotel kindly provides a large bottle of drinking water. There're two restaurants in the hotel. The breakfast is not too fabulous for me so I walked to Fira for breakfast on my last day. Moreover it starts at 8:30 am only which is rather late for me. The sunshine in Santorini starts at 7am already and I couldn't wait to adventure once woke up. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's my dream place in Santorini. I have taken tons of photos here. 😅😹

This hotel offers traditional cave-style suites built into the hillside. Our suite was spacious but cozy, furnished with antiques and the owner's original artwork. There was a small kitchenette next to the entry, and we found the small fridge handy for chilling our bottled water. The balcony with a table and two chairs overlooked the spectacular caldera. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom was extremely quiet at night. The stairs going down into the bedroom were fairly steep with no railing, but we considered that part of the adventure of staying high on a cliff in Imerovigli. Luckily, the bathroom was right next to the bedroom area! We loved the cave-style restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast included either traditional spanakopita or cheese pie; a baked egg casserole; yogurt with fruit, nuts, oats, etc.; toast; baked goods; a large selection of jams/marmalades and honey; and coffee made to order by a barista. Every day we found that the maid had cleaned our room while we were at breakfast. From the hotel, there are walking trails that lead to Skaros Rock and Fira. Oia is a challenging two-hour hike away, so we opted to hire a taxi to get us there and back. Across from the street entrance to the hotel is a supermarket where you can buy food and drinks, alcoholic beverages, and souvenirs. The hotel includes a lovely-looking outdoor wine bar, but we were so busy exploring that we never took advantage of it. We were very impressed with our concierge, Suela, who patiently and cheerfully answered all our questions. She set us up with friendly, talkative drivers to take us to Oia, Megalochori, and back to the port when it was time to go. She also recommended two great restaurants: nearby Aegean for gorgeous sunset views, and Krinikis, a traditional Greek restaurant less than a kilometre from Oia. Overall, we were very happy we chose this hotel and would return if we ever get the chance.

A beautiful hotel with an incredible view. The customer service was fantastic. I had a wonderful massage in my room. The view from our room was incredible so we enjoyed that but there was often a lot of traffic near us because of it so not very private although other rooms seemed more private. The water is not desalinated so be prepared to wash yourself with salty water and pay for any fresh water you may need. Everyone spoke english very well and were eager to accommodate us.

Beautiful and quiet surroundings close to the water and tavernas. An absolute gem with clean and airy rooms and access to the garden and fruit trees. Bicycles available on site. Helpful and friendly staff ☺️ I will come back ❤️

Excellent location, very welcoming staff (nothing was too much trouble), clean rooms, local produce for breakfast and outstanding views.

We just had a drink in the bar, and it was a lovely experience - rooftop bar and very nice & welcoming staff. We were the last people in the bar but they stayed until we were finished and ready to go, very nice, thoroughly recommended.

The property had an amazing view of the caldera. The room was clean and location was convenient to restaurants and sightseeing. Highly recommend this hotel for it's location and excellent staff.
