Aura Suites

We had an amazing stay at Aura suites. Boutique hotel with only 10 rooms. There is a reception with someone on site to help you from early morning to late at night. Room was gorgeous, especially bathroom with huge double shower in a dome room. Very clean. Wonderful jacuzzi overlooking the caldera. Little patio to sit in morning and enjoy the view with your coffee. Conveniently located with a short walk to both Fira and Imerovigil. Especially liked that even though you were very close to the path that takes you between Oia and Fira it’s very quiet. Keep in mind the jacuzzi is not heated but you wouldn’t want it to be in the heat. We stayed in May and it was perfect.

Perfect spot to stay in Santorini, so peaceful and quiet but situated right between Fira and Imerovigili (both 15 mins on foot and views of the caldera the whole walk to Fira) Rooms very clean and stunning interior and staff lovely. The hotel feels nice and exclusive with only around 10 rooms, the cafe next door is great for breakfast and again offers an amazing view! We did the hike from here (Firostefani to Oia) which is worth it, Imerovigili is just as stunning to walk through on the way - took us around 3 hours with a quick stop for lunch We stayed in the Junior suite (only down side would be the sunbed is not quite big enough for 2 and there are no spare loungers so you have to sit in a chair as next best option to sunbathe) Really recommend this hotel for location and view! Lovely employees, great service, great view, very clean, and modern. Everything is walking distance. I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely come back here !

Beautiful place and wonderful view of beautiful sea and sunsets. Treated us like royalty. Was sad to leave.

Super fantastic. Reception was warm, welcoming and helpful. All our questions about where to eat, what to see and even what to avoid were all eagerly answered. The gentleman who carried our very heavy bags up and down those steps was truly amazing. 45 pounds on his shoulder! He gets his weight workout in!

Keeble and I had a marvelous time at Aura Suites. The view was spectacular and right in the heart of Santorini fine dining and great shopping! We ate, we swam, we hiked and we had the best time of our lives!!!

Absolute immaculate perfection! Our stay at Aura was a dream! Gorgeous suite with the best view one could ask for in Santorini! The cool tub on the private terrace was a welcome refresher for the hot afternoons! A superb addition to our days so that we could enjoy the caldera in the hot of the days! Around 33 degrees I think, useable in the warm evenings as well. Rooms made up every day, and hostess was absolutely wonderful! Location is lovely with so many amazing restaurants and a little supermarket right around the corner only steps away. There is no better place to stay in Santorini!

We spent 6 nights in the Aura Suites2.We were very surprised that we had to reach the room through an empty, construction areaWhen we entered the room, we were hit by a very strong musty smell.It was very disturbing, but we thought that a large ventilation was necessary.In any case, it was worrying, which was not unfounded, because we quickly got sick.We both started coughing.We bought aromatic candle to kill the smell and left the door and the window most of the times open.We reported the problem to the lady handling the check in, who only replied that we should write an email about it.We sent the email, after a few hours the general manager replied that this is a characteristic of the buildings in Santorini.He said: Please do not confuse humidity and dampness with mold because they are completely different situations.In our reply letter, we asked him to see the room with his own eyes, and we also sent him some pictures.We also told the cleaning lady that there was a lot of mold. The cleaning lady tried to clean the mold, but she was not very successful. Then the check-in lady also appeared and she also tried to wipe off the mold with a cleaning sponge. Then the general manager also appeared, looked at the problem, saw that we were sick, said he was sorry, asked what kind of compensation we wanted, and then promised to talk to the finance department about a refund. Then we didn't hear from him again, we sent him an email, but he didn't reply.

Hostess was very helpful! Views are exactly as presented. Very clean and comfortable.
