Had a great stay and plus very good breakfast and very good dinner buffet very convenient location just next nearby to airport and also a lot of facilities in the hotel and Spring was my butler very good service he was asking me every single day if I need anything and took care of my stay very good thanks again spring

I have been to hotels at Yalong Bay, Haitang Bay etc. I think you can find better hotels with similar rate. Not much of an intentional branding feel. The hotel is under renovation. They try to do it discreetly but it will still disrupt your stay. 1. Only 1 Lift out of 3 working on 22 Nov morning. Many tourists waited for 5 min just to go down for breakfast. 2. First 2 days were ok. On my last day, the housekeeping started polishing the marble floor more intensively near the lift from morning to evening. This was scheduled yet the hotel put our room near the lift at our check-in. If they are doing this, they should have placed us elsewhere. I had intentionally asked for a quiet room. 3. Breakfast Very good variety but not palatable. Except the coffee is good. 4. VIP lounge Don’t!! pay for this upgrade. The happy hours serve drinks without cocktail, they give only the basic like soft drinks, coffee and nice cakes and sandwiches. Coffee here is bad, temperature at room temperature. Not as good as the breakfast. 5. Housekeeping On the last day, many items in the room were not refilled. Minibar, Recycled Slipper, Bathroom robe. I have to inform them about the robe in case I was charged upon check-out. 6. Butler You are assigned to a butler but I have never met her in person. We communicated via wechat. This is the only thing good of this stay.She is prompt and helpful. 7. Pool is under renovation. Only one part is opened. But from our room, we get a nice view of the working pool and sea. This is good. 8. Chinese restaurant Food is tasty except it is at the basement. Not much of a view.

Our holiday in Crowne Plaza Sanya Bay was amazing! Hotel is close to the airport but we didn't't hear any noise during our stay. Rooms are big and clean, and there is amazing bathtub on the balcony. We've arrived on my son's birthday and hotel gifted him a cake! It was so delicious and many thanks to Spring who organized all and made our holiday so pleasant!

Staying at Crowne Plaza was an absolute joy. I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had. The area where the hotel is located is peaceful and serene. The rooms are clean and specious. I was so pleased to get an upgrade although the season seems to be really busy here. The sea view is stunning. The hotel has got an amazing pool as well with all amenities needed. It was just lovely to relax and unwind next to the pool or at the balcony. All the meals were delicious, especially breakfast. Perhaps staff/waiters at the restaurant could work on their communication in English which would make them more approachable. The absolute highlight was meeting an exceptionally skilled and professional member of staff Spring, who’s responsible for guests relations. His English was amazing and he was extremely helpful, from the moment I checked in to the very last minute of my stay at the hotel. He made my stay here even more special. Overall, I must say that the Crowne Plaza hotel in Sanya and their staff have exceeded my expectations and I am so looking forward to being back.

I had an amazing stay at [Sanya bay CP]. Ada, very friendly、From the moment I walked in, the front - desk staff greeted me with warm smiles and efficiently processed my check - in. The lobby was beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. My room was spotless, with comfortable beds and high - quality linens that ensured a great night's sleep. The amenities, like the well - stocked minibar and fast - speed Wi - Fi, were a plus. The hotel restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious dishes. The fitness center was well - equipped, allowing me to keep up with my workout routine. The location was also convenient, close to many attractions and restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

We loved staying at Crowne Plaza because it's so clean and the staff is friendly. Eason at the front desk spoke very good English and had us settled in shortly after our arrival. The only disappointment was the location. We had to travel to shops every day to buy items that we needed. Also, the private company at the hotel offering yacht rides and water activities cheated us out of some money by not honouring the agreement. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Quite a grand looking hotel. We booked club connecting rooms and the 2 rooms were large and well equipped. The Club lounge was terrible with awful food and drink and no windows - not worth it. Breakfast was average and I found the constantly sticky tables very off putting. Breakfast was in a canteen-style room called ‘all-day dining’, it was only open for breakfast. We used meituan or other restaurants outside the hotel for lunch and dinner. Location is on the beach, but there’s literally nothing really worth visiting within walking distance and we had to rely on taking DiDis everywhere. One or 2 people spoke a bit of English, luckily my son speaks Chinese, I am not sure how easy it would’ve been without him translating. Would I return, probably not, I’d pay more and go to a proper 5 star hotel

We stayed here in 2020 and continued to be impresssed by the front desk staff who upgraded us and helped us when no one else seemed able to respond to simple requests. The cleaning staff were equally friendly. We were disappointed with many other changes. Most of the pools were closed with accesses closed off so that pool-goers could only enter at one spot. Pool attendants outfitted with whistles,used regularly, ruined what used to be a nice pool area. Many tiles are lifting in the entrance of the pool. It is in need of upgrading. The choices at the evening buffet have been reduced substantially. We went to the bar to eat there instead and were to told that food is no longer served at the bar. We also went to the Executive Suite which was a dark room with stale nuts and peanut butter and banana sandwiches. While many choices are available at the breakfast buffet, the quality has gone down considerably. Forks and knives are at a minimum. The place is in desperate need of upgrading. The location at the end of Sanya Bay seemed quiet and idyllic before now seemed isolating with the lack of choices. It is not a resort.

Nice hotel good breakfast with good location

Let's start with the highlights: 1. Check in and check out smootly 2. Room spacious and clean 3. Breakfast is good and even with full hotel, table available (thumbs up for the management) 4. Pool area very nice, plenty of chairs to use 5. Restaurants and room service are good, pity that for dinner, available choice of BBQ area was very limited (hot pot although is a very traditional thing for Chinese, could also have a kind of Liaoning style BBQ which is totally beach highlight in any part of the world) 6. Coffee shop/bar very good 7. Cleanness of the room spot on, well done (my negative points will not come from the job made by housekeeping but for the orders they have from management) Not pleasant points: 1. No replacement of coffee/milk powder on room (it's a very cheap thing, even 2 Star hotels do that, shame on IHG) 2. No changing sheets, which i can understand in a 2/3 Star hotels but not on ones you spend more than ¥ 1.300.00/night again in my view shame on IHG with the lame excuse of environment. 3. Disposable slippers not replaced in my 4 days stay (again, even a 2/3 star hotels do that without asking for, saving little bucks is kind of lame) 4. Overall the place is kind of old, although not yet rundown, the hotel could do some kind of enhancement of exterior appearance special from swimming pool view, could be painted or washed, repair the parts broken, eliminate the metal green box on roof (of course i didn't take picture, it's an eyesore), in summary, a little effort for appearance and keep fresh and kind of exclusive (which you expect from a hotel that call themselves a resort) Do i come back? Sanya for sure, this hotel, probably not, although the staff are great, i just don't like to be in a place that i have to ask things when i paid for the service already. I'm a ihg member but i didn't book through their app, but in trip (as i found better price than their own app, just UNBELIVABLE) :)

The building is very impressive, the rooms are good, as is the breakfast. But the garden is very small, so there is noise from the swimming pool everywhere and far too few sun loungers. The aircraft noise is also very annoying. No restaurants nearby.

Fantastic architecture, spacious hall, comfortable rooms and a soft bed. Very hospitable personnel, our favourite was Miss Karride, most helpful and friendly. Variable breakfasts, free drinking water, attentive room cleaning
