Wonderful! I don't usually stay in such nice places so this was a great experience.

This hotel is a bit rundown, but the location is good, food so so... We stayed at villa type room, like a resort room, compared to superior room. The breakfast is OK, the egg station is great. Sunset view is directly from hotel, it is fantastic. Overall with the price we have paid, no complait. Thank you.

Super freundliches Personal, Frühstück mit Sicht zum Strand. Sehr ruhig gelegen, in 3 Minuten ist man an der Hauptstraße und mitten im Geschehen

เป็นส่วนตัวสุดๆ เพราะวันที่ไปไม่มีแขกเลย มีชะนี 2 คนสู้ชีวิตเพื่อนที่มาจากภาคกลางชอบมาก นางบอกไพรเวซี่ดี พักห้องวิลล่าที่ถูกที่สุด เฟอร์นิเจอร์ไม้ค่อนข้างเก่าตามอายุการใช้งาน แต่ก็ประทับใจอยู่ เพราะเลือกพักที่นี่จากบรรยากาศในห้อง เข้าซอยไปไม่ไกล สังเกตุว่ามีเซเว่นอยู่ปากซอย เลือกซื้อรวมอาหารเช้าด้วยก็ดีนะ

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The Spa looks like it has been closed for years. The smell of sewer was hideous. It was difficult to get a roll of toilet paper for your room. No activities , very few chairs and the rooms had nothing in them. I would find a better place to stay. It was not cheap and really offered very little. Breakfast was the same every day, minimal just like everything else.

The one good thing about this hotel is the location, everything else was a huge disappointment. It was our last hotel in a 3 week trip traveling the islands and I’m so gutted we booked here. The hotel and rooms are so dated and in disrepair. No blackout curtains and we had to forage in the cleaning cupboards for loo roll and towels. The air con was so loud but unbearable to sleep without it on. The balcony had a beautiful view but the most uncomfortable chairs to sit on and enjoy. Showers were lukewarm warm at best. 4 days of chilly showers really makes you a bit miserable. I think beds in prison are more comfortable than here, not that I’ve been to prison but I can imagine, it cannot be any worse than here. Our backs are in bits. The SMELL. I don’t know what is dying on the grounds of this hotel but we all gagged everytime we had to get to and from our room. The smell is something of nightmares and never goes away. Not enough sun loungers. You cannot get a bed around the pools or beach, people placed towels on the from morning to night without even using them. I took some towels off to use the beds in the end. There weren’t enough beds to allow for this to happen. Tables, chairs, hammocks all breaking. Decking was a health hazard and the pools were dirty and slippy on the bottom. Breakfast was awful. We had to clear a table ourselves, it wasn’t busy but the staff didn’t make sure there were any clear tables to sit at. Let alone wipe anything down. Really awful service yet they are full of smiles…? Coffee machine kept breaking, just a long queue of tired people holding cold toast, you get the gyst. Beach bar ladies were pleasant but looked like they didn’t want to be there. The sound of them dragging their feet around will haunt me LOL. Not much else to say, the resort had no soul, no stand out staff who really made our stay nice (we paid over £600 for 4 nights and I’m guessing this is budget for Koh Lanta? It must be…). Pay a bit extra and go somewhere better, thank me later.

Although we never stayed in this hotel I have a very bad and sad experience with this hotel and Agoda. We made a booking by accident online, and after receiving the confirmation, we cancelled this booking within an hour. We couldn't stay in this hotel because we had already made another reservation. So we called and even visited this hotel and they promised us to call us back. But unfortunately they never did and the same with Agoda which we also sent an emai and called them as well. It was a booking of more than 800 euros, which we have paid for nothing. If this is the way this hotel and Agoda think it is fair to earn their money, we will no longer use this organization. So please be warned about Agoda and Royal Lanta Resort. How they treated us is not Royal at all.

In July 2023, I was given an offer for a 34 night accommodation in a Deluxe Villa - I confirmed in August that yes I wanted to make a reservation and was sent the appropriate documentation. They wanted me to put my credit card information in an e-mail which I was uncomfortable doing. I decided to call and give them my credit card number and info over the phone. I did not hear from them so I sent another email asking when my credit card would be charged. I was informed that it didn't go thru and call my bank which I said I would do and then I get an email from their head office in Bangkok indicating they were working on a new gateway payment system and my reservation was guaranteed and I would be sent a payment link shortly. As I never heard back, I sent numerous emails without any further response to this date. Today, I found alternate accommodation

Location is the only positive and our cleaning lady Paw who was fantastic. Property is dangerous as the decking around pools and walkways has rotted so you have to walk very carefuly. Breakfast buffet was cold, same same, rarely removed dirty plates from our table. Property gardening all overgrown, nothing trimmed or maintained. Swimming pools falling apart and large pool is green after 5 days. Spa is closed, however Emma from Family Spa on the beach is fantastic. We stayed at 8 resorts within Thailand over 8 weeks and this Resort should be closed immediatley as it is not safe on so many levels. The Thail culture is lovely and they respect their guests BUT this resort has completley insulted us and couldn't care a less that we stayed for 2 weeks.

This could be a nice place but they just don't care. It is so unwelcoming. We had a superior room which had nothing superior about it. No black out curtains as advertised on the website. We was awoken at 0400 by the light each morning.we had to ask 3 times over 2 days to get the safe fixed. Room was not very clean. Empty shower gel bottle stuck to ledge in the shower. Breakfast was basic. Bacon rationed under strict control. A small change in the behaviour of the staff would make this a completely different place.

Prenotiamo pagando al provider, veniamo accolti col personale che cerca di farci pagare in loco una seconda volta. Tempistiche di risoluzione della cosa 50 minuti. Barriera linguistica consistente ed esperienza del personale alla reception pari a zero. La camera è molto caratteristica, ma tutti gli infissi hanno fessure importanti che permettono agli insetti di entrare a loro piacimento. Televisione non funzionante, assenza di cassaforte, wc che perde ogni volta che si tira l’acqua, acciaieria incrostata come se non fosse mai stata lavata. Buffet della colazione molto limitato. Abbiamo fatto presente che uno dei contenitori riscaldati dove si trovava il cibo era pieno di formiche e la soluzione è stato richiuderlo e lasciar là. Connessione Wi-Fi non funzionante in gran parte della struttura. Siamo impazziti x prenotare speedboat e resort sulle altre isole perché non c’era connessione neppure nelle zone comuni. Il personale delle pulizie pretendeva di riordinare la camera molto presto e si è permesso di entrare nella stanza con il cartello DO NOT DISTURB attaccato alla maniglia e mettere le mani sulle nostre cose. Il prezzo e la classificazione è decisamente sproporzionato alla qualità
