Hotel berhampiran Magus Books, Seattle

It's hard to rate a motel like this. If I rate it alongside the upscale motels in Seattle with all kinds of amenities, I'd give this motel one star. If I rated it as a motel that cuts all the fat off a luxury stay and just offers you the least amenities for the lowest price, I would give this motel 5 stars. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean, the bathroom was fine. There was no breakfast, but there was coffee in your room, and in the lobby, and that's it.

Our power was out due to a snow storm and our disabled daughter was at home sick. We quickly looked for a hotel ~10 minutes from our house that was reasonably priced and booked your hotel. The plan was for my husband and daughter to spend the afternoon there so she could be comfortable and I could take several important client calls without distractions. We called to ask for an early check-in, explaining the situation, practically begging to be allowed in early (even to a community space such as a business center or gym) and were flatly refused. My husband forgot the CC when he went to check-in and because it was my card (that we use to get miles) I had to go down to check-in. The man (pretty sure his name was Zach) at the front desk was very inhospitable. He asked, clearly suspicious, me if I was getting the room for other people, I said “No, my husband booked the room with my card”. He then proceeded to tell me that if there was heavy foot traffic to our room that we would be kicked out without refund. I remained calm and said “I realized this location might see some unsavory things but that we were just a family who hasn’t had power for 14 hours”. He continued in a condescending tone, “I’m just telling you our policy. And your room was already flagged as suspicious because it was booked for two people and now I find out it’s a family”. I started to explain that it was only ever supposed to be two people, my husband and daughter for the afternoon but this man did not care and I did not need to justify why I was spending $120 on a hotel room. The hotel clearly had many vacant rooms (the blinds were open and the rooms dark) which only further frustrated us as they clearly could have accommodated an early check-in. My husband and daughter spent a total of 20 minutes in the room. Long enough for her to have a snack and change her diaper. He collected their things and I went back to check out—I did not want my husband or daughter anywhere near that man with his “guilty until proven innocent” attitude. I would rather have our daughter at our cold (but safe) house than have her spend another minute at your hotel. The ugly way we were treated and Zach’s implied accusations made my sick to my stomach. If that is how you treat us (white, upper middle class) I can only imagine how poorly you treat people with less privilege. It’s appalling, as if no one could possibly be at your hotel for a legitimate purpose because of its location. That is not what this community needs. Thankfully, our power came back on right at bedtime. We will never give our money to any of your locations ever again.

Came here for a convention and the walking distance was great. Plenty of restaurants around that you can walk to as well. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. They also have rolling carts for your luggage (not every hotel has them apparently). If you are wondering how to check in, you can stop up front real quick and then park. It took us a couple rounds around the block to figure out where to pull in at but that’s to be expected in a city with lots of buildings and parking. The parking is rough for a large SUV but we managed! Absolutely recommend! Worth every penny.

Hotel overall is a great location and you are certainly paying for that. The lobby, waiting area, etc. are super nice. The rooms on the other hand while clean have dated/pull out couches that are not great. The bed was clean and comfortable enough but I wouldn't say any better than your standard travel lodge hotel. The closet shelf barely head the weight of the room safe on it and the safe door wouldn't stay closed so that was poorly placed. My biggest gripe is the bathroom for a 175+ dollars a night i'm expecting a spotless nicely kept up bathroom. The bathroom vent didn't work at all nor had any way of turning it on. The ceiling was very low and crappy office type paneling and had a fire sprinkler over the tub! The flooring, counter top and shower walls are marble which is nice but I don't think the staffing knows how to properly take care of marble because my room, and two of my other friends' bathrooms were all the same the marble had a yellow/green tinge to it like it needed a heavy duty steam clean or scrubbing. The shower head was also horrible and needed replacing too. Overall you're paying for location as you're walking distance to Pike market place and other down town stuff but for the price the hotel commands not sure its worth it. Not a horrible place by any means and it worked and was clean just expected more of the room accommodations.

Teman wanita saya seorang pelajar antarabangsa tiga tahun di Seattle datang ke Seattle untuk kali kedua. Saya menempah Sheraton Dt. Kerana saya tinggal bersebelahan dengan hotel, saya mencubanya. Ia bukan musim pelancong. Saya juga melihat bahawa tiada Ctrip yang sesuai. Kelajuan daftar masuk adalah pantas dan tiada masalah untuk mendaftar. Menginap selama tiga malam kecuali lokasi dan selebihnya sempurna. Harganya juga sangat berpatutan. Ia tenang berbanding dengan pusat bandar. Ia terletak di sebelah kilang Boeing. Bilik itu masih boleh melihat pesawat yang belum dipasang. Tasik di tingkat bawah sangat tenang dan cantik. Saya tinggal di tepi tasik untuk masa yang lama setiap kali saya dalam mood yang tidak baik. Lalat dalam salap adalah bahawa lokasi adalah 15-20 minit dari lapangan terbang ke hotel. Jika anda pergi ke DT, ia mengambil masa 15 minit. Bellevue mengambil masa 15 minit. Ia tidak kos efektif jika anda boleh menyewa kereta. Jika anda boleh menyewa kereta, ia adalah lokasi yang bagus. Pergi ke puyallup dan menginap di homestay. Jika anda tidak mempunyai apa-apa untuk dimakan berdekatan, saya cadangkan barbeku Korea di Renton dt. Ia berjarak 10 minit berjalan kaki dan ia dipanggil Exit 5 Korean BBQ. Terdapat kedai teh susu layan diri dalam perjalanan dan ia juga bagus, MAKMAL TEH DIY. The room we were assigned was in rough shape. The TV wasn't working, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, and the mattress was old & uncomfortable. On top of all that, we could not connect to the internet and were told that the hotel's router would have to be reset, which in the time we had to check on it never occurred as far as I could tell.

Red Roof is an outstanding hotel when you visit Seattle. The staff and shuttle service is tops. The room was clean and comfy. I will staff their each time I arrive from overseas and heading back each an everytime.

Nice and comfortable airport hotel. Location is tremendous, as it’s near to SEA airport, with lots of food venues around. A complimentary airport shuttle is available. The shuttle departs every thirty minutes to the airport, at :00 and :30. Exceptionally kind and helpful staff at the hotel, however, one specific shuttle driver was extremely rude and unbothered. I did not catch his name. Didn’t bother helping me with my suitcases and at the airport didn’t bother taking out my suitcases either. Also the shuttle departed full, so some passengers had to stand. Rooms were very clean, but a bit outdated. Since the hotel is big, there are two fitness facilities available, very convenient. I had a 1 bed queen room with a balcony, which is a nice touch. I would stay again, if staying near SEA airport.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. With the light breakfast that was included, this made for a very affordable stay. Employees were all friendly. Would definitely stay again if I come back to this area.
