the service was great. check in and check out were both smooth and fast. most guests were families with small children, but no problems in terms of noises or any disturbances. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. the only thing that was a huge letdown was the view from the room. it was mostly obstructed by the building entrance’s facade, there was little view to enjoy. Grand Josun Jeju is great for family. A whole floor of family floor dedicated to young children, and an indoor outdoor pool which is great for rainy or shine. Also complimentary sauna and optional massage parlour available. Location is at the south of island, which makes the travel to the North, East or West a little longer. If you don't mind the drive, it is a great option to stay especially for young family, or if you want to be away and have some quiet time.

We loved the HILLSIDE SUITES. Amazing property. We stayed in the Hill Suites and the ocean view room was stunning. Huge room, immaculate and very comfortable. The property is meticulously designed, although the main building is a little dated in its structure which is revamped from an old hotel it doesn't spare on grandiose. I think the main lobby needs a nice welcoming flower structure that would top it off full points for me.

Wonderful grand hotel resort with fabulous facilities and a 24 hr onsite convenience store. Loved the sauna and pools while the free parking nearby was very convenient for guests to access.

Grand Josun Jeju is a beautiful property, if you are going during summer, bring your swim gear, the pool is nice. The hotel is also walking distance (about 10 mins) to the F&B area near Teddy Bear Museum, and a cafe that has good breakfast, any further it’s better to have a car. The hotel also has a convenience store on site so you won’t go hungry. If you are willing to walk, there’s McDonald’s and other restaurants within 20 mins walking distance. It’s hard to hail a ride after 8pm.

Our second stay and I would love to return again It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel. Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful. Clean, nice, heated pool. Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient. The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there. As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view. The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view. There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building. The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube. Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs.

Very nice, family-oriented hotel

Grand Josun Jeju is conveniently located in the south west of Jeju. Good base for covering attractions located in the west and south of Jeju. They have both indoor and outdoor pool that is temperate controlled.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our 1.5yo daughter and we had an amazing time! We stayed in the kid's wing on the 2nd floor. My daughter got her own bed and lots of welcome gifts. The room was so clean and had all of the amenities we needed. They had wonderful, thoughtful touches like kid's toiletries, robe and slippers, and a stool to access the sink/toilet. Housekeeping was very responsive and quick. We ordered room service and it was prompt and delicious. Access to the hotel's amenities was all free when we stayed there. Unfortunately, the rooftop pool was closed for construction but the garden pool was lovely. Our room included the breakfast buffet. It was mostly Western and Korean/Chinese cuisines, and the variety didn't change much from day to day, but the food was very delicious! Great selection of pastries and the coffee bar was awesome. They also have a convenience store on-site with a seating area for dining. My only recommendation is to have a car while staying here. The trek up the big hill to the hotel takes about 10 minutes and while it isn't terrible, it's tough after a long day. There are no bus stops on the hill, so you'd have to walk down to get to one. Once you're out of the grounds there are lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The hotel is very kid-friendly and staff and guests alike are very understanding of the challenges of travelling with small children. The staff were very kind and helpful and were a huge part of why we enjoyed our stay so much. If we're ever back in Jeju I'd love to stay here again!

Best hotel breakfast I have eaten at Jeju. Hotel staff are very attentive. Spacious room and clean. Great for couple. Many dining option nearby.

We stayed one night but we were happy for our stay. They have laundry room for guest free to use. Room is big and clean. Swimming pool is warm water. Breakfast is also good

Great location at the south west corner of the island. Friendly check-in staff. Hotel staff was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Garden view means car park view btw. Had a surprise encounter with a big spider in the bathroom but hotel staff came to help. I told him not to harm spider but to catch and release it outside. However my limited Korean didn’t get through and the staff killed it with a hotel towel 😩. Generally a great stay. Will return.

Stayed for 2nights3days.The services and cleanliness overall was very satisfactory but was a bit disappointed in the quality of the dinner buffet. It was One of the most expensive hotel buffets but the taste was so-so and not many varieties as expected..
