Motel 6 Seymour, in - North

I’ve had a really enjoyable stay here at this motel 6. They are very affordable and offer weekly rates. When I entered my room I was delighted by the smell of orange. The room is very nice; it has wooden floors and modern decor. The bed is just right and it’s clean. The entire building is clean and tidy. They also have a elevator and pool. One thing I will say is that there is a few cosmetic issues in the building and in my room; in my room the toliet paper holder was broken and there was just a roll of toliet paper instead of it. In the building and property there is a bit of trash mostly on the outside area of the property. These didn’t really effect me however, but for the price you can’t complain!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s convenient to the area. Our room was stunning as well. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room, but when I asked at the front desk they where happy to provide me one. No breakfast but their is not only a McDonalds but a Tacobell and Gas Station walking distance from Motel 6. For as beautiful and big a hotel, I was extremely disappointed in the closed pool, but the front desk agent told me it will be opening in the summer, so I will come back then. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. In the room there is enough space to store your clothing, at least the one we stayed in. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room which was very convenient. I will say that room service deserves five stars alone! They are amazing and since Covid a lot of hotels suspended room service. Overall this was a nice stay and will be coming back probably in the summer when the pool is open. Thanks Motel 6.

This is your standard higher end motel 6. More like hotel 6 as this one is a hotel however. Looks like a pretty new place. You get your bang for your buck. It’s not your 5 star hotel but it has your basic needs and close to many places. Has Truck parking and a truck stop close aswell. I came here because the holiday inn was booked even though I had a reservation there. I called this motel 6 and they had a handful of rooms available. I asked the front desk if I didn’t like the room if I could have a refund. Instead they showed me the room and it was great so I went ahead and stayed there. The insides of this hotel is clean and modern, although it is smaller. Has a elevator. Everything is fine, however don’t go outside at night as the nearby construction workers hit the hotels power line for their outside lights and it is very dark and schetchy as it’s in a place where there isn’t any other buildings around.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights, and I'm impressed because the transactions I had from them were smooth and easy. Upon checking in the staff here are very polite and accommodating and even guide me cordially to where my room is located. This place is the best, especially if you are on vacation or business. Nicely done, guys! Thanks so much! It is also located next to many restaurants and entertainment such as a movie theater. They don’t have breakfast, but that’s not an issue as McDonald’s is walking distance from the place. It is much better than holiday inn Seymour that I also stayed at.

My girlfriend stayed here for a week while she was getting a apartment. Staff was friendly, building appeared clean, was stocked vending machines in the lobby and overall was a good average experience at a motel 6. I will say though during the day it got a little loud next door and could hear everything. Other than that it was fine.

I called several hours before our arrival and was given the price of a single bed non smoking room for 2 people and 2 dogs. I asked if I needed to reserve the room and I was told there were plenty of rooms. Upon arrival we were charged more than quoted. After moving into the room and found it had 2 beds I questioned the desk clerk and was told I was only charged for a single bed room. The next morning when we checked out I questioned a different desk clerk and was told we were given and charged for a 2 bed room because all of their 1 bed rooms for dogs were occupied. Something that could have been avoided if I was allowed to reserve earlier or was it just a ploy to get me there? Besides that the toilet was loose and rocked each time you sat on it, there were barely enough towels for 2 people, the only toiletries were 2 tiny bars of soap, there was no hair dryer available resulting in my not being able to wash my hair, the bed linens were clean but full of cigarette burns, and the morning lobby coffee was suspended. I understand these are budget hotels but this was ridiculous and the price was not that low. I understand now why the parking lot was so empty!!!
