Ulasan Xiaozhu Homestay (Nanjing West Road)

I stayed here for my US visa interview; it's conveniently located within walking distance of the embassy. It's also close to the subway station, making transportation quite easy. During my stay, there was road construction right outside my window. Workers started their day and chatting around 5 AM.

The apartment itself is really good, neat and well taken care of. I came with my friends for a birthday celebration and we had a pleasant stay. The only inconvenience was trying to register all the guest which is not a problem if it’s 2-3 people but now asking for 2 kinds of passport pictures of about 8 people was not ideal. Also, the address provided is not the actual location of the apartment luckily they helped us with providing another map guide to take u directly to the apartment. Overall, experience was fine for a weekend

This room has a different location from the pin in the map but I like that it is near TaikooHui where The Louis✨️ is. It was around 10-minute walk to the metro. We used didi to go there from the airport as we arrived early in the morning. It was a bit hard to find at first and the streets and hallway leading to the house were so dark. I like that it was bright inside the unit. The beds were big and soft. They have extension cords ready and provided towels, shampoo and soap. Note that there was no convenience store nearby so best to buy what you need before going back home from a tiring day. Lastly, they also allowed me to leave my luggage behind on the last day but on another location. I love this perk since all luggage storage in and near the metro were either full or does not work with my alipay, plus I was able to save a bit for it since it's free. The path to the luggage storage also has nice views so it was a good decision to take that longer walk. Thank you to the owner, we had a great time! 🥰

The apartment is at the very center of the downtown Shanghai and in a nice neighborhood with a lot of charming old Shanghai residential buildings. The neighbors are nice, and I get to meet them every day. I also saw a few foreigners in the same neighborhood. The apartment is as described.

Great homestay that is conveniently near the city. Space is big enough for 4 people. However, water heater was not the most reliable and needed to be restarted a couple of times

Everything was perfect and the location was the best in town. The place is warm in cold weather. We were very happy with our stay

The room was great for family trips! I love it so much. Huge living room with convenient bathroom. And the location was good. Near the metro station and lots of food!

Location is excellent, center of nanjing west road, nearby metro, zhang yuan etc. The entrance and building corridor look like a horror movie scene. Room is nice as it showed on app but the cleanliness was not satisfied. We had to wiped off most of the surfaces ourselves. We also got problem when we arrived. The door lock password didn't work and we have to wait for almost 45 mins to enter the room. We had beenn traveling since 2am from Thailand so we were so exhausted. The staff is helpful btw. We enjoyed our stay a lot❤️

The homestay is a little small for 5 of us but the location is very strategic and can get us to anywhere via the West Nanjing Metro Station. Nearby got a lot of eateries and shops.

We absolutely loved the place. We have been living in Shanghai six years in a luxury apartment nearby. We are back in Shanghai after 9 years and we want to live the Shanghai way! The apartment is on the second and top floor of a lane house. You are really mingling with the locals. We made some good friends there! The place is as described. Very cozy. Everything is supplied. The owner is extremely responsive; we had an internet problems (actually our problem ) when we arrived and they responded immediately even if it was 11pm! Shanghai older neighborhoods are disappearing very quickly and if you want to experience the real Shanghai life, go quickly, the city is changing very fast… Finally I would definitely go back to this lovely attic if we go back to Shanghai. Thank you!

The apartment was bright and looked good. However on closer observation, there were stains on carpet, the sofa felt a bit wet, and the toilet had a bad smell coming from the wash basin. For such a big apartment for 6-8 people, there is only one toilet! Very inconvenient. The corridor of the place also looked quite run down and scary, it took a while for the property manager to fix the spoilt ceiling lights. Although location wise is good, I won't be booking it in the future.

Great location, the apartment is nearby the metro west nanjing station (line 2) and is surrounded by convenient shops, food mall, and fashionable shopping stores in that area. The room is minimal style with neat and clean as photos shown in the website. The toilet amenities and facilities are provided except full lenght mirror. Overall nice accomodation!!

Pro - Place are located 200meter (not more that 50 step from West Nanjing Station Exit3) - Place are close to a loot of convenience store and popular restaurants and coffee and bakery shop. - Place Look Exactly like a photo. (It was nice and Clean) like it came out of Pinterest. - Pillow and blankets are very soft and comfy - room have toothbrush soap and shampoo (and detergent) for guests - I had ask for more pillows and blankets and owners are being very nice about it. - I add wechat to to to talk about a place and how to get there there are very supportive. Con - Room are located in old building (CIMB Bank West Nanjing) and have to entrance building to the back door(I thing it is a door that people in building use to collect there garbage and it was so spooky (it was dark and old)) - building have very small and old elevator that i was too afraid to use.

I liked everything about this stay, awesome experience in Shanghai! Great location, great inside amenities and very nicely and lively and solely designed space
